Removed legit review
The barber no-showed for the appointment, and I left standing outside. He never acknowledged it, hoping I’d cancel and he’d get to collect a cancellation fee for zero work. When I told the truthful account of what happened in a review, the cut asked me for evidence, which I provided. They still took down my honest review, saying that despite me sending in screenshots of the barber admitting he missed my appointment, that the bad reviews would hurt him. This is what happens when you use AI for a support chat. Permanently lost a user.
My review
The app is great. My only problem with it is the efficiency of the app promoting your profile to new clients and you having control of that. Booksy has a feature called “boosts” that you pay for but it drives your profile to the top of the list for a fee. But in the end I’m positive more barbers would love this feature if the cut app had it!

The app is great for a cut but needs improvements
I feel like when the barber accept the cut but is actually not there you should be able to get the full refund instead of only getting half back which is diabolical

Nothing on my app is loading I’m missing multiple appointments a day because of my app not loading I’ve downloaded and deleted the app multiple times and it keeps doing the same thing Im highly frustrated losing money. Now it won’t even let me redownload the app bro wtf.

The app isn’t bad but with the constant notifications from the company trying to sell me on their app while i already have the pro version is quite annoying especially when its 2-5 times a day. You either turn off notifications and not be able to see who’s booking or have it on and get mixed advertising, tips, suggestions and bookings all flooding in. Wish there was a way to have only bookings come through if there was i would give it 5 stars

They are saying they can’t “disclose” why I can’t get my verification for no show policy but yet still taking my monthly payments
Functionally good…but
Now I’m getting 3rd pay ads from sponsors. Like perfume and jewellery. The app offers no way to customize notifications so you have to disable notifications entirely. Otherwise it was a game changer for booking freelance barbers.

The haircuts are excellent and there is no wait. Also the barber is very efficient which cuts down how long you have to actually sit in the barber chair

I have to know the passcode for a device I have no idea exists in order to get a haircut. Fail.
