Great New Platform!
Why doesn’t my subscription show up on the day it’s supposed to? I have had to wait for days and often much longer before my digital copy arrives. I love the articles. I love the tips and lessons. I love the patterns. The platform however used to be lacking and was clunky to use. The new platform is the best I have seen in a virtual platform. Simply Knitting is one of my favorite magazines. One of my favorites!

Purchased special issues disappeared after updates
Unfortunately after the latest update, all my special issues are all gone and had to be re purchased. Have done multiple restore to no avail. Have notified the app people some weeks ago, no response. Very disappointing.
Baby Knits mag
Simply Knitting mag used to be excellent, with really useful free gifts, but last 6 issues have just been full of baby knits and far too many toys. The ladies garments are not suitable for over 60’s ladies it seems to me the mag is only for young Mothers and their babies. I don’t have andpy kids of any age, but every issue free gifts seems to be baby knits and stupid thick small bamboo needles. For above reasons I have cancelled my subscription.

Simply Knitting is one of my favourite knitting magazines. The photography of the showcase patterns are very trendy and interesting.
The magazine is awesome, the app...not so much
I bought all the back issues over a week ago. So far I’ve managed to download three. Yes, three. In over a week. It sits there saying queued but doesn’t download. Really wish I hadn’t bothered and kept buying only the issues I wanted on my kindle app on my iPad. Quite a lot more expensive than the complete your collection option but least they actually download so I can use them.
Not working!
I love Simply Knitting! It's my absolute favorite magazine of all time. Great projects, great tips and an Alan Dart toy pattern in every issue!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wasted money
I have bought years of simply knitting via apple app. Each time simply knitting has changed their app I loose my magazines. Not worth the frustration.

I like having the app separate from Zinio. Easy to navigate and use.
Magazine rating
I’ve had this magazine for a year and have yet to find anything I wanted to knit or even save. My other complaint is that I cannot unsubscribe. I’m guessing that will trigger a bill. Please, let me out of this.
High quality toy designs
I love the toy designs in this magazine. They are high quality designs and unique. I also find many web references of value.
Right to privacy
When you pay for something you do not expect the company to take what you paid for away from you and tell you that you need to create a password to get to what you had paid for. They think this is okay so that they can infringe on your right to privacy and sell it to others. Hope they lost a lot of subscribers,I know I discontinued mine
Easy to use
Works well most of the time. Sometimes doesn't open straight away. Apart from that, easy to navigate and a good way to read the magazine.
Simply Knitting
I applied or 30 days free trial and was immediately charged the full annual fee of $84+. Their customer service are not being helpful. Their 30 day free trial is a con.
Frustrated
Something is wrong with app on my ipad. I have a subscription and can't view my purchases. This is very frustrating and money down the drain. Any suggestions I would appreciate.
Issues
Since the latest update, all the back issues that came with my subscription want me to pay for them. I have tried to restore them, but have not been able to make it work. Even the issue I just received (in the US) shows that I need to pay for it to download. I entered my subscription number according to the directions, but to no avail. This essentially makes the app worthless.

I like the magazine but have been having several problems with the app being slow and unstable.

Broad range of various projects in wide range of complexities. I selected this mag as a staple for my knitting needs.

Long load time
Great mag but the app seems to take a long time to load and sometimes I have to close and try again. Sometimes an issue will take awhile to load as well. Love the bookmark feature - great that you can open one issue, open bookmark and see all bookmarks from all issues.
Works Beautifully!
I only discovered Simply Knitting recently, but I took advantage of the opportunity to complete my collection, so I now have a number of years of issues. It's so much fun to read old issues! I love to read the letters and hope to knit several Alan Dart toys and donate them. The app is easy to use and really convenient.
App never works but good mag
Come on!!! The app NEVER works. It always shuts down. I’ve never been able to download the issues. Will likely not subscribe again and will stick to buying the physical mag when possible. Updated to say that the app continues to make my $$ worthless - how can you steal money and not produce the product I paid for? The support emails go unanswered... even the App Support linked here in the App Store goes to a dead link. I think it’s time for a calm to the Better Business Bureau!!

Look forward to each issue. Interesting patterns. Only downside is that there sometimes appears to be waves of different colours coming over the pages
Great Customer Service
The support team at Immediate Media are the best. I did have a problem with a previous version of the app, and they worked with me to fix it. They were very polite and knowledgeable. Thank you to S. Prince, M. Newing, and A. Ticehurst. Great job all of you, and the app works fine now.
Problems with the app
Even though I purchased the archive ( and, it may only be purchased once) and continue a subscription, I am not able to access all the titles which I have purchased. I have previously contacted Simply Knitting about this issue and have yet to receive a response with a solution. Soooo. They have my 90 dollars and I cannot access the issues, BUT, I cannot re purchase!!! Grrrr. frustrating.
Simply Knitting
It is wonderful to have all the magazines I want to keep without taking up storage space.
Great magazine and excellent app
I really can't fault this magazine or the app that goes along with it. I love knitting magazines and read many of them. The only thing I wish I could change would be to be able to print multiple pages to a pdf file so I could put the patterns into knit companion easily but that is a pretty minor criticism.
The app
I love the Simply Knitting magazine, (that deserves 5 stars in my opinion, but the app I have to give a 1) and have been buying them for about 5 years. I have a subscription but just decided to download the app. It makes it so much easier to buy back copies, but, I paid 5.99 to download an issue that I missed and it let me look through it once and now it just stays at 0%. It won’t open for me again. I even restarted my phone. I would really love to be able to read the issue I just spent money on, if someone would let me know how to fix it. Or if it’s a “bug” fix it. I would gladly give this app a 5 if this is fixed.
Fix the problem!
Since the last OS update, I can't download the latest issue, and I have a subscription. Completely unacceptable!

I've been robbed....
Sure, you USED to be able to read the old issues on the old app but now they are ALL gone. Multiple issues that I payed money for taken away from me. I will never buy another issue from you again.
Please fix!
I know you've probably heard this already and I hope you are in the process of fixing it but I have the latest update but when I open the app and try to purchase the newest magazine it keeps popping up saying I need the newest update. I loveeee your magazine and the app really makes it easier to get them. I look forward to receiving them. Please help fix this issue. Thanks for the help. :)
