The gameplay is boring, the community stupid, the people who manage the game have no desire to improve it. A terrible game, would give it 0 stars if I could
Fun, but has toxic people, and game glitches
The game is pretty fun and slightly addicting at times! Which is to say it’s good. And I really appreciate the devs for adding new roles from time to time and somewhat listening to the community. ^^ However, occasionally the day/night cycle glitches and skips a few nights. I also remember there used to be bots (fake players) in the past, though fortunately that got fixed! The players, especially the new and really experienced ones, can be quite toxic and unforgiving of mistakes (trust me, I’ve made lots of them). But I know thats kinda out of the developers’ control, so I’m only taking away a star for the glitches. I get that some people are mad about the removal of exp games and other updates, but to be honest, it’s not all bad. Of course- thank you, Toast Mobile, for being great developers!
So confusing
Downloaded it specifically to play private games with friends. How in the world do you do this?? Even paid the $3.99 to host games but there’s no option to invite??

Chaos and Mental Exhaustion
I started off genuinely loving this game, but the May 2026 update changed everything. Since the update, there has been a massive shift in the lobbies. More experienced players are now flooding regular lobbies and using it as an opportunity to insult, ridicule, humiliate, and bully less experienced players. I myself have been subjected to verbal abuse and online bullying as an adult. That is never okay. I am highly disappointed in the developers' decision to make these changes without considering the impact on the player experience and community. What was once a fun and engaging game has become demoralizing at times. People need to be aware that this kind of toxic environment can genuinely impact your mental health. No update is worth that.

the game is good but i hate the inactivity bans the most inactivity should do is tell you to participate not make me not play for a whole hour
Just downloaded the game.
I just downloaded this game and did the tutorial and joined my first lobby and people in chat said "I was a troll"? and then it said I was blocked from the game. So far this isn't turning out great and reminds me of the toxic lobbies in Among Us :(.
Fun but Ultimately A Cash Grab with No Moderation
Pros: Fun game, sleek UI, developers actively adding new content, no ads. Cons: Increased prices for avatars and game creation that’s specifically designed to leave you with a gold deficit. Developer team is clearly trying to put minimum effort for maximum profit. There is little to no moderation which is extremely concerning since this game attracts all ages including 18 and under. Toxic and creepy players are left unchecked. If I was a parent and saw my child on here I’d be concerned.

So my mafia account has been hacked or doxxed idrk but everytime I redownload the app it doesn’t fix anything. The game staff are always inactive as well as whenever you put a new support ticket in they never do anything about it.

I love the game overall. Paying 10 coins to make an exp game has killed the vibe tho. I play a lot less now.
Not what it once was.
I’ve owned 3 accounts spanning from 2018-2021 and what I thought would be a fun blast from the past turned into a borderline dead community that is impossible to shift through with a newbie account. While I don’t think a dead community is any fault of the developers, I feel like the subscription service paywalling lobbies definitely had a hand in the experience. 3 dollars a month is cheap, but not cheap enough to know if what little community left is even worth getting into. The auto lobbies are almost always dead, and on the off-chance they do fill up, a game will last for no longer that 2 nights with afk players. Very disappointing, I loved this game and it’s community dearly.
moving in the wrong direction
1. the game is fun. good concept and execution 2. however… the game has increased prices all across the board. avatars are more expensive, rolepicks are expensive, and now, even with the subscription service players must pay to make games. i don’t see what the point in buying a subscription is when you can’t make more than 20 games !total!???? for instance, you get 2 coins per win. if you win half your games and play around 5 per day, that’s only 4-6 coins. to make a game, it takes 10 coins. what’s the math behind that? so don’t even think about buying avatars. 3. new roles are also not available for paying players. if you want to make an experienced game and use the new roles… well… you can’t! they’re for regular games only that are full of afk players and people who “farm” to stay on the leaderboards. 4. did i mentioned farming and afk players? this is another big problem that renders some games to be completely unplayable! there is no effort to correct this as weekly leaderboards aren’t reflective of the true, well-playing players. i’ve had my account for around 6 years and i think this is about time that i throw in the towel. i hate to see the game become greedy like this. players didn’t have to spend coins to make games, once upon a time. i hope this could be reevaluated, but i highly doubt it’ll happen. :/

It’s good but it needs improvements
I got banned for 24 hours for helping someone by letting them win for a challenge. Is that so bad!? Also, new role idea: nurse. During the day the nurse tells the doctor what happened to everyone over the night so that no one can lie about being toasted or robbed. P.S, please make another avatar contest, I wasn’t there for the first one.
Great game, bad challenges
The game is great, but to get good stuff you need to get crazy challenges which are practically impossible. Please fix. Also, and my number one issue with the game, is the way you get banned. People constantly report me and it just gets accepted instantly and I need to appeal to fix it. But by the time they do, my 12 hour ban is finished. So stupid
Not Enough Players
Literally couldn't get beyond the "Play one game to unlock anything else other than the Play Now button" point because there weren't enough players to fill my first lobby of 15. Couldn't choose another lobby, couldn't do anything... Massive development oversight with locking the first game, especially considering I'm very familiar with Mafia enough that I don't need tutorial games. EDIT: Got into my first game after 15 minutes, it started but glitched so I got stuck in the pre-game lobby. Closed and re-opened, got into my first game. Finished it, did my role, but didn't win for some reason. Then the game didn't count, so it still thinks I need to "Play my First Game." I've uninstalled. Broken app, it's no surprise to me that this game hasn't many new players. EDIT 2: Got the game to work. You have to close and reopen it often, but it does get there. The game does lack players, but you can select other lobbies when they exist. That just isn't apparent when there's only one Public Game because it puts you into it and skips the "lobby selection" entirely. Confusing, but it works. Notifications when games start help with the long waits, too. Increasing the stars to 3, hoping the game gets better with time.

Great game, odd banning system
This game is a great sim and has just about enough of a player base so that you can get a full lobby in around 2 mins. I would give this 5 stars although I have just played a game and received an unfair ban for inactivity… I was doc, voted every round, saved every round, including the cop which won us the game, yet I get an hour ban /:
Was incorrectly banned by the game
There was a player who threw the game for maf that I reported, and I got banned for calling it out? You guys will trust any screenshot without looking at the actual game log? I’ll b unsubscribing from my pro subscription.
error with reporting accounts
it’s a great game as a whole but whenever I get reported for something, it says ‘banned for 0 minutes’ and the time never changes, I’m permanently banned and it’s fixed at 0 which doesn’t make sense. I think it’s great that people who are being rude are permanently banned but I got reported for being inactive (after my phone ran out of charge during a game which I can do nothing about) and now I can’t play the game at all. I don’t think people should be reported for being inactive, rather it should be more of a warning system where if you are inactive a certain amount of times you will be banned. I think this because the young people playing can’t help if their mom says come and eat dinner so they’ve got to be inactive in the game or their iPad runs out of charge e.t.c
Great Game Zero Ads, Moderation Problems
If you’re looking for Social Deception Game this is absolutely the right choice. I’ve played every mafia/Town of Salem/Werewolf online game and this is absolutely the right choice. With unique roles and gameplay elements each game is different from the last. The games outcome is mostly determined by your ability to determine the mafia from the village rather than randomness. This game has 0 intrusive ads or voluntary ads making the experience very enjoyable. My only concern is the moderation on the app with such a small team it seems that almost every non exp game has a problem with bots, chat abuse, or purposeful game throwing.

Full of toxic players, racist remarks and comments insulting you are ok according to the moderators, but the second you defend yourself you will be banned

Really good game and good concept however 1/10 games will bug and skip day/ night or the roles sometimes don’t perform the action. Also the new update with the chats get confusing.

I downloaded this game thinking of the simpler version people play in real life, and then I was utterly confused and it barely gives you a good tutorial. I think to make this more better and more better for newcomers, you should add a demo game, in a tutorial, so that they get a gist of it
Fun game but needs better moderators
I find this game really fun but it's annoying how someone reporting you leads to a ban instantly and appeals go ignored. Ruins the experience. There are people that actually ruin gameplay by going afk or ignoring the chats and still taking actions as mafia, and then when you say something because you are annoyed by them or try to use a strategy they don't like they report you and you are the one that gets banned. Please sort this out because this is not a game I would spend money on if it's instantly wasted because I get banned for a stupid reason.

This game is fun, there is a small community that plays everyday. But this new update is ridiculous, having to pay for Pro to make an EXP game & on top of that pay with coins to make the games as well. Raised all the prices on avatars, that many players have been saving up for. Turning into another money hungry company
Banning problem
Love the game but there’s evidently a banning problem. Being banned automatically because of a report and no appealing system means that it’s often abused by bitter players. I really enjoy the game so I hope this is fixed in some way.

Newest update on the game has at least doubled prices in the store making it so you can’t get any upgrades without paying loads of money and you have to pay to make games that you can’t even win the money back now. Wish they wouldn’t have done this, game isn’t fun anymore like this and has been filled with bots the last few months anyways

Well made but the community is really toxic
I’ve played about 400 games now and love but hate this game. Public games (where anyone can join) can get REALLY toxic, with people creating new accounts just to ruin games for others/shout abuse. The game is only really fun in private matches if you want to take it seriously, which need quite a few people to fill up. Awesome game but awful community (some of it, not all of y’all).
Everyone needs to read this
(THIS IS CRAZY) I went to get my brothers charger and I told him (while I was playing) to make sure nobody asks why I am afk or so I don’t die. I LEAVE AND WHEN I COME BACK my brother is laughing. He said everyone’s role in the game (that is game throwing I’m aware) BUT THEN everyone said to ban me after I said that it was my brother!! Everybody reported me after and I got banned for 23 hours. MY FAVOURITE GAME ON THE APP STORE 😐 I would love to get unbanned for this reason
