War against distraction
Echo prayer is an answer to the battle of our mind. The enemy wants a prayerless people and distraction is how he achieves it. This app is helping me wage war against distraction! I want to be in a prayerFilled home, church, community- telling everyone about this app.
Guided?
Hi, what’s guided about the prayer? Is there supposed to be sound? I’d love to change my star rating, but right now it’s just a screen with a verse written on it. I want to use this for prayer walks. Let me know if it’s a glitch.
Oh well
I really love this app sadly tho it has way too many things that you have to buy to use even tho the subscription is not expensive its just annoying
You can only upload ALL contacts
I like the concept of this app and was willing to pay for it, until I realized I cannot add individual contacts to it. For example, I only want to add church members who are part of our men's Bible study. But the app only allows you to upload ALL your contacts from your device. This is highly concerning. I don't care what their privacy policy says; they can change that at any time. With that, I canceled my subscription and am deleting the app. What a disappointment.
Great App, Needs Updated for IPad
Right now the app works great, but the IPad view is something to leave desired, the thin phone-like view makes it hard to review and enter prayer requests, I need to be able to see it more like the desktop setup to get the most out of it. However, this app has been a life-saver in tracking prayers and concerns at churches I serve and am really thankful for this resource.
Easy to use
So far we’re loving this app for no ads, easy of use, can have groups and add pictures and comments, easy to read and edit. Good job!
Small Print can’t enlarge it
Please make the Echo App with option to have larger print. The print is to fine and too small for some of us with vision problems.
Categorizing My Prayers
It would be very helpful to be able to categorize the My Prayers section like the Guided Prayers section. Is this possible? Also, it would be helpful to allow prayers to be added to the existing guided prayer categories.
Was a great app
This app was a great tool until they forced users to make an account. Frankly I would prefer my prayers to be private. Now this app can easily collect and associate my prayers with my identity. Well it was great while it lasted! Back to the old trusty note pad😂
Just my opinion
I love how the prayers are broken into categories. I wish the scripture passages were longer.
TRULY GOD GIVEN
It helps me stay persistent in prayer asking God for the same thing everyday just like the widow asking the judge and just like Hannah asking God and Abraham
It would be great if they didn’t want money
As soon as I downloaded the app they wanted me to sign up and pay money. This is what Christ was flipping tables about.
Answered Prayers Needs More Functionality
I like the app so far but I’m providing this review primarily as a developer recommendation. The app allows you to add notes for a prayer which is good. But then it gives you the additional option to mark the prayer as answered. However, that feature basically acts like marking an item off of a list. It drops off of your prayer list and goes into the “answered” bucket. I’ll recommend a different/additional approach. There are many prayers we want to be reminded of on a regular basis. For instance, a friend’s cancer treatment. Or just regularly, daily prayers such as for “diligence at work” or “opportunities to share my faith.” There may be numerous, discrete answers to an ongoing prayer over time. It would be nice to be able to show they’ve been answered without removing the “Frank’s cancer” or “diligence at work” prayer from your rotation. It would also be nice to have a specific option to write notes about how a prayer is answered each individual time and have that logged and nested within the overall prayer. Those notes could also show up in the “answered” menu without having to remove the prayer item from your overall ongoing prayer list.
Requires an Account
I don't want to put my prayer requests in the cloud. This app requires an account be created before it can be used.
Good but needs innovation
I really like this app. It brings much needed structure to my prayers. Yes this app hasn’t changed much for the past 3 years. If they want people to keep paying each year they need to invest in innovations.
A Beautiful Blessing in the Digital Age
I’ve never written a review for an app in my entire existence. I’ve never cared to. Since downloading this app and setting a weekly limit, I’ve grown closer to God like never before. I truly recommend this app for every human. The 15$ a year is a perfect balance to support the developers while being infinitely worth it for the relationship it helps you strengthen with Yeshua. Writing down our requests and prayers has showed me the importance it is to record them because our memory is only so reliable. I genuinely hope to see this app flourish with thousands of new souls and continuing to grow with future updates. The random prayer reminders have encouraged me to pray for people I may have not spent as much time praying for otherwise.
Loved the Widget But hate the border
I really loved using the Echo widget as a quick reminder to pray for requests. The way it would surface prayers randomly on my home screen was meaningful and helpful. But I had to remove it because of the thick black border around the widget—it stands out like a sore thumb on my screen and completely throws off the aesthetic of my home page. It’s frustrating because the functionality is so good, but the visual design makes it hard to keep. I’d love to see an option for a borderless or more seamless design in a future update.
Great app only one small improvement needed
Great App, to help strengthen prayer life although the addition of being able to start instrumental music during the prayer time would be a great addition and move it to five stars in my mind. There are times when I like to pray quietly but there are also times when having a soft instrumental playing helps me connect with God.
Just started using it
Just part of a trial for a virtual prayer room at my church. Helping me focus my prayers.
Good app but need way to import multiple prayers into feeds.
As the title states adding prayers one at a time is not fun. I looked at your API calls and adding the ability to specify multiple prayers should not be hard. Please please please provide for the paid model.
Can No Longer View Prayers and Comments
I can no longer view prayers or comments to prayers. Please fix.
Email Notifications (Prayer not specified).
I love that htere are notifications, but when I am at work it would be nice to be able to see what the prayer is in the email or at least be able to see the prayers on my prayers on the website.
Easy to use
Love this app as it’s easy to use, list prayers, and set reminders. What I like the most is the ability to document answered prayers as I can truly see God’s blessings.
Cost!!
It was good when I could pray for free. Then I learned about the cost!!
Modified review
There are no ads in the app. The developer contacted me concerning the pay for using groups comment. Only one person has to pay and others added to the group are able to see those prayer requests. This my original comment “Everything is great until it comes to creating a group. Then it is start paying. You should let us know up front that a big part of the app is going to cost but still have to put up with ads. Make it one or the other.”
Best developer award well deserved
Best developer award winner. I love you bro, keep your developing skill higher star, God bless🎉❤️
Motivation
Having to type a prayer everyday is time consuming and my wording on paper is not always readily available. My prayers are in my heart not my mind.
Really close
This is a great app that fulfills its promised purpose and looks great doing it. It’s simple enough but can be as complicated/detailed as you need it to be. My current issue from a 5 star is that my notifications and reminders don’t clear unless I go in, select them, finish the prayer, close the app fully, click the notification again. Fix that issue and it’s an easy 5 stars.
Great app and some thoughts
I like the app! The UI is simple and clean, which makes it very easy to use! Meanwhile, I wish it could some function that allows me to add multiple prayers under one title. I usually use people’s name as the title and put several items under the name. It’s hard to track/mark the items under one title. In general, I 100% recommend the app!
UNNECESSARY AD FOR APP!!!
Do not update to latest version! Please remove ad to download Echo app every single time we tap on a prayer request. When forced to click on it, then it’ll ask the same thing again! Please allow us to go back to the previous version that automatically took us to the prayer item in the app. Very redundant!
Excellent prayer app
The app works great and I love all the functions available to assist with managing my prayers. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because of the streaks. The streaks seem to be set up on a 24 hour basis, meaning if I don't open the app in every 24 hour period I lose my streak , other apps with streaks don't work this way. Basically if I open the app at 6am one day but don't open it until 10am the next day I should keep my streak, it shouldn't reset. Other than that it's a great app!
Hands Down - the best prayer app!
I love this app! On each prayer I have uploaded a favorite picture of my loved ones. This alone helps put my heart and mind in the right perspective for prayer! The user interface is great, and the functionality is simple but good! Try it!
Unable to sign up
Yes, it is glitchy. I tried to sign up but could not get pass the log in screen.
Great prayer tool!
I love the scheduled reminders to pray for specific people. I like the flexibility of being able to set up groups. It isn't always the easiest program to navigate but certainly a great tool for anyone wanting a bit more structure in their prayer times.
A robust Christian resource
This app integrates prayer and I like being connected to others in intercessory prayer. It would be nice if the prayer reminders popped up on AppleWatch like they do on FitBit.
Thanks but no thanks.
$52 dollars a year? Are you out of your mind!? Too expensive and it doesn’t offer a one-time purchase.
Apple watch?
Everything in the new version works great, but I think something's missing. Is it just me or is the apple watch component missing from this version?
