Great games & great team!
I’ve always loved logic puzzles, and this app is the best I’ve found by far. They have a super extensive, replayable collection of puzzles with varying difficulties and absolutely no ads. I once found a small glitch in a game, so I sent a quick note to the team via support. I heard from Micheal within the day, and within 48 hours the glitch was fixed with an app update!
Unclear
Clues were not very clear. Very ambiguous. I did not like trying to solve these. Deleted after third puzzle.
Unhappy
I just spent $2.99 for more puzzles but there were NO additions to the 4x6 Extreme.
Lots of glitches - wrong clues for puzzles
I downloaded this in the hopes it would be similar to another cross logic game that I like. It had a lot of promise but the programming and accuracy of clues leaves a lot to be desired. For instance, on the casual 4x5 “Seconds Anyone?” the clues reference days of the week. The grid does not have days of the week, it has order (first, second, etc.). Deleting the app.
Clues
I don’t like that when I ask for a clue, it just says ‘mark this square false’. No explanation. I want to understand why it is false or better yet, marked related squares and so I can look at it and figure it out. But there is nothing to show why.
The Best
The caliber of these puzzles remained unmatched , I’ve actually replayed them so many times I really wish I could buy more. It is my Favorite logic puzzle app without question. Since I’ve played every puzzle multiple times, I guarantee you they all can be solved (not sure about all of the hints because I don’t use them) there are however 3 puzzles that definitely have typos I wish they would Fix because they do make the logic confusing. I’ve checked the hints only for these 3 puzzles and was able to Confirm by logic that they are mistakes (I should say written mistakes in the clues rather than typos) so when I replay all 600+ puzzles I just keep these 3 puzzles hidden. Regardless I remain rating the app 5 stars because these puzzles creators are brilliant and I want more more more !!!
Too Many Bad Puzzles
Have come across several hard puzzles that have incorrect clues. It is very frustrating to purchase puzzles that are wrong. Also, have had a couple of puzzles that don’t appear to solvable and the hints don’t include an explanation as to why. Need better puzzles!!!!!
Solid puzzles
They require some critical thinking!
Badly written
The interface is good but 2 of the first 3 puzzles were written badly. There was too much information in the clues and they were not grammatically clear enough to correctly match information. There were extra variables that should have been added to a larger grid.
Last Puzzle
Most of the puzzles were fun and solvable. If you’re using a tablet or phone, the last puzzle will require you to go “off grid,” literally, and use paper and pencil. Not a traditional logic puzzle as the logic is not recorded in the grid. Found this annoying, as others have.
Excellent well written
I have worked literally ALL of these puzzles (wish there were more) and disagree with those who say they are written poorly. They are not. But you do have to read them carefully and pay attention to words (like neither, nor etc) and to punctuation. They are very clever puzzles.
Poorly written clues, hints are even worse
Downloaded this from its sister app, which I loved and eased through all of their puzzles. When that app concluded, it suggested this app as a harder version or to purchase their own harder puzzles. Of course this app is “extreme” - these clues are terrible and you’re left guessing! Sometimes it names three different “people” in a clue but the “not” clue only refers to one of those people, not all of those people. Similar to: “Barry wasn't late on Thursday, which wasn’t the train”… so you’re left wondering if Barry isn’t the train as well. The wording could be slightly better to make things more clear. When you get stuck (which is often), the “hints” just tell you to mark a box as true or false without any explanation, and it’s clear that they don’t go in order - it just picks a random cell to mark as false, but it’s evident there are zero hints that would even logically lead you to that conclusion. It just told me to mark a cell as false when both the person and the day weren’t mentioned in any of the clues, and there is no supporting evidence to suggest that there any true match ups that would make another pairing false… the hints are horrible. Will not be buying additional puzzles - I’ll go back to my other logic puzzle app and will give them my money.

Not well written
It’s even shown in the first screen shot example on the apps download page. You have clues that have nothing to do with the puzzles. If you’re going to go into details about what days of the week, then that should be one of the objectives. The rest of the puzzles are just as bad.
Notes feature would help!
Having grown up with the Penny logic books, it was fantastic to have an app with a similar level of difficulty! I liked the sister app, but I wasn’t feeling challenged enough. This is perfect! I’d give this 5 stars, but I saw a review that requested a “notes” feature and I completely agree! I use my phone’s Notes app to help me with some of the more layered puzzles (ie. the parking space one!). It would be nice to be able to take notes or draw inside of the app, instead of having to switch back and forth between apps.
Excellent puzzles—when they’re written well
Far too many of the subsequent volumes contain puzzles that are unsolvable—not because I can’t solve them, but because the clues are insufficient. How do I know it’s not me? Because the Suggest Move hint simply says “Mark the highlighted cell as ‘false’,” with no further explanation or reasoning given. I won’t be purchasing any more volumes.
Overall good. But the last puzzles
Overall the puzzles were good challenges but the last 3 or so puzzles just didn’t make sense. There is a parking one where the clues talked about north and south and # blocks away for parking spaces and who arrived with who or by themselves but you’re asked to figure out what necktie and last name of the attendees for a seminar. So the clues did not match what they were asking for you to figure out. And by the time I pressed hint a million times the answers didn’t make any sense as according to the clues given. There were two other puzzles like this parking one. Eventually I just gave up and pressed hint until solving.

Poorly written clues, frustrating rather than fun
I really enjoy logic puzzles but this one is frustrating rather than fun. The clues are written very poorly and if you dare to use a hint all it tells you is which square to mark true or false, it doesn’t tell you why or which clue it is helping to you solve, and so doesn’t help you understand the clues or rationing behind it. The clues are written in a very confusing way and each one is long so you end up reading it a few times making the puzzle slow rather than fun
Puzzle wrong
It’s so frustrating to do a puzzle that is incorrect. The very first clue stated that “10 errors had been done by the time Astrid took her turn”. It was reversed.

I still have and love the old app. I wish you would bring it back. I love the interface, the colors, everything. The new one isn’t nearly as good or user friendly.
Strongest puzzles and great support
I have stuck with this game because the puzzles are the strongest and most difficult I can find. Also, just had a glitch in purchasing more puzzles and the support team was incredibly friendly and helpful walking me through it.
Love the game but only get a few games before you have to buy more
I love the game, the hints and ability to check your progress but why are there only a few free games. Is there no way to get more games free?
Could only improve with notes
I love penny dell logic puzzles, I’ve been doing them for years. This app has also been the only game app that consistently stays on my phone. My only request is the addition of a notes feature. I often have to jump back and forth between the notes app and this one to solve puzzles and would love to have it all in one place.
Broken hints
The hints just say what to mark but not why. Obviously I need to know why because I have to get a hint.
Huh??
It must be me but the sentence structure of the clues is unbelievably unclear. I play 7x7 logic puzzles and don’t have as much trouble understanding the clues as with these.
New Version Doesn’t Fit my MacPro Screen
I love the Logic Puzzles, but the newest version doesn’t fit my MacPro screen, and it won’t let me resize the screen. Help, please!
Serious issues with the clues
Many of the puzzles have issues with the clues not matching the grid. Like the categories are completely different. Someone doesn’t proofread these. Don’t spend money of this since you can’t even complete many of them!
One small improvement will make it a 5⭐️
I love the other logic game from the same developer so I downloaded this one too. I like that these are much more challenging and the wording of the clues is different and challenging too. My only complaint is when I get stuck and click “suggest move” it just tells you what cell to mark true or false. The other logic puzzle will explain why with something like “if a is true and b is false then this must be this”. I love that because it helps me learn and increases my skill. It helps me see what I’m missing and I noticed in the other game I was getting better at them. Please add that to this one too!
One puzzle has errors!!
The puzzle “Seconds, Anyone?” lists info in the clues that are not options on the board. Several clues mention a certain day of the week or there being a first or second week of having guests, but that info isn’t pertinent to the board and the game is impossible to solve.

Love these puzzles in digital format and from dell especially! The others don’t even come close. I bought all of them, can clear them after I finish so I do them over and over again. Enough time passes that I forget the answers!

Fun! Great that it’s challenging BUT it would be great to know the reason why a move is suggested by the hint. Would have loved to know how the answers for extreme 4X5 were figured out.

Strange Puzzles (both a good and a bad thing)
I've enjoyed some of these logic puzzles from the free version quite a bit. The types of hints are a bit unusual and most of them seem to rely more on weird wording to trip you up rather than genuine logic puzzling. Some of them I like quite a bit though! One thing I will note that was the main reason why I took off two stars: Some of the puzzles' hints contain SO MUCH information that you don't need. One of the puzzles ("Free Parking") talks about the position of different people's parked cars using blocks (e.g. 'Joe's car is 3 blocks west of Jane's car). None of the puzzle has to do with the position of the cars in relation to each other. In addition, one of the hints is literally useless because it tells the user that 'the last person to arrive was wearing an ascot'. None of the puzzle has to do with when everyone arrived at the event. So there's no point of the hint being there at all. Some of the puzzles are decent and have really good hints that really make you think. But some of the puzzles' hints are just annoying to deal with. TBH this app is the logic game equivalent of horror movies which rely on using cheap jump scares 99 percent of the time rather than prolonged and suspensful horror.

There should be an explanation for the hint, i.e. how was the fact revealed in the hint arrived at, from which clues, etc.
Not as logical as you would hope. Confusing
The logic clues do not relate to the actual puzzle that you attempt. Eg. It talks about Saturdays on two different weeks yet the puzzle has rows pertaining to first second third fourth and fifth. There are no references to week days in the rows or columns. The clues only contain Friday Weds and the fact there are two Fridays and Saturdays. No idea what is in the mind of the person who set the puzzle and how the week days that are mentioned correlate to the first second third etc. It is very confusing. Since this is a major flaw in the puzzles it takes away from the positive points in that the text reflects the font size of the device and it incorporates dark mode very nicely. Unfortunately these positives are not enough to make it good.

Wording and Hints
The wording on these puzzles is very confusing. Some clues are not even complete sentences, just one fragment after another. My biggest complaint is that the hints just indicate to mark a square false or positive but never explains why. There is no proof that someone should have made that deduction from the clues provided.
Decent With Unnecessarily Complex Stories
The matrices don’t get any larger that 4x5 but they still have an interesting level of challenge to them. The last few puzzles’ storylines get unnecessarily complex. And just read confusing. Re: I’ve actually played and finished the entire sister app and the additional puzzles that you can purchase on the app. My issue is not with complexity, it’s with the unnecessarily convoluted wording that doesn’t add anything to the actual puzzle.
Absolutely incredible app
First: none of these puzzles contain any errors. I’ve solved 729 of 730 puzzles and have never had to use a hint. As the app itself tells you, the puzzles are HARD and they’re not just saying that!! This app is so extremely satisfying for anyone looking to exercise their brain. Like I mentioned, I’ve completed all but one puzzle—the Extreme 4x5 titled Free Parking. It’s been driving me crazy for over a year now and I LOVE the challenge!! I periodically revisit it whenever I need to really work my brain. My only “complaint” is that I’m dying for more puzzles!
Uninstalling this poor puzzle app
In order to solve half of the puzzles you must guess. There is insufficient information within the clues. Even the hint system says nothing more can be deduced via logic. Uninstalling
Great if you can afford to buy more puzzles
I love logic puzzles, my eldest brother taught me how to play them. I felt some of the puzzles were challenging. The one thing I will say is I don’t think people read the intro part and because of this can’t figure out some answers from the clues. Unfortunately I'm unable to afford to buy more puzzles. It is a great one if you can afford extras.

The puzzles are all the same type, theres no mixture of puzzles. They tend to get boring and if you dont know how to do them, they take a while to learn.
Extreme Puzzles
I was significantly happier with this app, at first. It all changed when I started adding puzzles to my account for the additional “extreme” level puzzles and realized they are just the same “challenging” puzzles from their other logic puzzle apps. Those of us that play on these levels know these puzzles by heart. We’ve solved them countless times in the past. Please source NEWLY written puzzles and stop recycling from your other apps under different difficulties.
