Used to be better
I have played this game for at least 10 years. Can no longer earn tokens by replaying games. Coins are useless unless you need clues which I hardly ever use.

The game is fun, but there are waaaaay too many ads. Either reduce the frequency or have the option of paying to not to see the ads, please.
Great game
I absolutely love this game. The only drawback is that is after a few weeks the daily rewards system caps out, means that you don’t earn that much, which can be a pain during more expensive levels.
You can get stuck with no tokens??
I got to a point in the game where I was earning less tokens then what I was spending per level, that’s fine many games have a limit like that for whatever reason, I didn’t mind because I was still passively earning tokens as time went by. I was really into the game so I bought some tokens but then the game stopped giving me tokens as a reward for finishing levels, and as you continue levels the required tokens to challenge them get exceedingly larger, more then you could possible be earned (even though at this point I wasn’t even earning any tokens). Once played all the levels I could I’m now at a spot where I can’t play any levels AND im not passively earning tokens by time, SO IM STUCK??? You can earn some tokens by doing surveys and playing other games but the surveys are very personal and Im not comfortable giving that information and the whole “play other games to earn currency in our game!” Thing is really sketchy. The game LOOKS like it has a lot of work put into it but it kinda seems like a big money scam…
Fun, challenging game, but…
Where the heck are some new levels? We haven’t even gotten any monthly world challenge packs or anything in several months. What’s going on? I miss my puzzles.
One of my favorites / play it everyday
I’ve been playing PictureCross for years. The puzzles are in color which I appreciate. Love that there’s a new World City puzzle every month in addition to the large puzzle I’m working on. Absolutely love this game.
Unplayable
Crashes or freezes constantly. Completely unplayable.

I’ve been waiting six months for new games after the factory and tea room. Is the game over? Or will they ever create new games?
Abandoned in place
No new levels released in over 3 months. Did 2 help tickets to learn about the hold-up and when to expect new levels, with no expected release date disclosed to me.
No new updates
I’ve been playing this game awhile and it appears that the creators are no longer updating it. There have been no puzzles added for several months.

Love the game
I love this game and play it daily! But I think it might be corrupt or have a virus or something? I’m not exactly sure how those things work, but sometimes it’s really sketchy. It will make my phone freeze up and open random apps or switch to safari and say “your iPhone may be hacked” or something like that. Anyway, I really love this game, and I’ve only had this issue with this app :(
Background Music is a BANGER
This is a fun and challenging game, and not timed which is great. Perhaps the most challenging part of the game is collecting enough tokens to play the puzzles that cost more than the maximum token recharge will allow. Ads always suck of course. The game is worth downloading for the background music alone
Too many options! Confusing
Game keeps switching between sets and I can’t figure out how to get back to a set in progress.

Updates are slow to come. I have over 3000 points awaiting new puzzles. When are new puzzles coming out?
Favorite for Years!
I’ve been playing Picross & Picross Colour for over a decade. The updates with new puzzles typically come every few months, but it’s now been over 5 months and I’m wondering if there are plans for anything new?
Can’t play because level unlocks cost more than max energy
I played through the first set of puzzle and halfway through the second, unlock costs are higher than my max energy so I cannot play at all
Time to update!
I would never play this game because of the excessive ads, BUT! I finally read the fine print and as soon as you buy just ONE coin upgrade (min. $2.99/max $9.99 and you DO get an equitable amount of tokens for it), then it stops the ads and only plays an ad IF when they give you the option after finishing a game to watch an ad to get 10 more tokens on top of that for completing a specific level. So it’s basically like the original in that and I love that game. I now love this one too again. I gave it 4 stars because I’m sure there is SOME way to keep making it better like an exchange program of coins for tokens (1,000 for 1 token). Oh and I like that you can solve old puzzles for tokens and it’s like 25 coins per token so if you do a super hard for 125 coins, you get 5 tokens! TOTALLY worth it!
Used to love this game
I used to love this game, but I needed to delete it and re-add it to see if there was an issue with the World Tour games. On the app, it says that you don’t need to sign in if you delete and later reinstall on the same device to save your progress. Wrong. I lost 99,999 coins and about 3500 tokens.
Game crashing
I’ve been enjoying these puzzles for a few years. Only recently it’s been crashing. It’s super frustrating.
Best game ever!
I’ve been doing picture cross and picture cross color daily for years. Looking forward to having new puzzle packs added to color! Please keep updating.
Contains a virus
Update to review below: I uninstalled the game because one or more times per day I would be working on a puzzle and I would suddenly be taken out of the game and into a web browser. The browser would then say unable to launch webpage due to security concern. Therefore, I’m convinced this game has a virus. I previously wrote: Addicting and relaxing game that really gets you thinking. I like the format of the puzzle selection screen where each set of puzzles is in a category, and as you progress, you unlock more puzzles. I also like that ads are not intrusive and are easy to dismiss. The puzzle playing screen is nice also, with a gently moving background. Rated lower because the music is only 1 song that repeats. Would like to hear more songs shuffled in. Update: I received a response from the developer apologizing about the banner. This was not a banner. I was taken out of the game and into a web browser where a page with security concerns tried to launch.
Just ads and hint system
When I try to double check by tapping on the bar of the row, it pays with my coins and now I’m all out :( . Also ads are sometimes kind of annoying but still a pretty good and fun game :D
Ads hijack the game
Ads will take over the game and open the browser while playing a game now. Super aggravating.
Can’t watch ads
I can’t watch ads for the daily reward anymore. I tried to go to their app support. No joy.
Hi
I have a 108 day streak, so obviously I love the game. However… the daily reward remains 15 tokens with 30 every multiple of 5 day. But for the most part, I’ve only been getting 15 tokens a day for TWO MONTHS. I feel like I deserve a bit more than that…
So glitchy
Loved this game but it just freezes and crashes now. Can’t even play.
Super fun game! Only one flaw
This game is so fun, the visuals are my favorite. The colors and the graphics are extremely well done. I also enjoy the fat you can earn keys by playing another game. My only issue is that after every puzzle there is an ad. Minor issue really but kinda annoying.
Wonderful until last update
I’ve been playing this game for years. It’s one of the very few games I don’t mind spending a few dollars on to play more. It’s a 5 star game in my eyes. But after the last update, it freezes every few minutes and locks up my whole phone. Super frustrating.
Why?
I’ve been playing this game for almost as long as it’s been available. My rating had been 5 but is now 3. The past couple of days, in the beginning I cannot watch an ad in order to double the coins I receive. The ads appear as usual after finishing a level. All my other games requiring ads are showing the ads and rewarding me with whatever they give for watching them. Why?
Freezes
I love this game and have been playing it for months but upon reaching the bazaar level it has been freezing, sometimes several times in a session. It’s frustrating to have to reboot my I-pad every time this happens.

Challenging puzzles and great animations
I’ve been playing this game and standard Picture Cross for a couple years now and have had almost no complaints. Puzzles are fun and challenging, monthly grids feel rewarding and the animations are all well-made. I only have one complaint: Some puzzles utilize colors that are nearly (or sometimes entirely) indistinguishable from one of the other colors. Sometimes I can use the grid clues to determine which is which, but even with brightness turned all the way up, some colors look 100% identical, even when placed next to each other. It seems like a mistake sometimes though because the colors tend to be more distinct when the finished picture shows up. Other than that, I love this game and still play it daily.
Ads override interrupts game
This game used to be fun. I enjoyed the puzzles but recently something is different with the ad partner. Ads used to appear between puzzles which was tolerable. Now the on screen ads that are visible in game will occasionally pop over the game while you are playing it rendering the game useless for a strategy and thinking game not to mention obnoxious and annoying. I waited to see if the developers would fix the issue but that have done nothing to protect against this interrupting the game.
Too many ads
I have played this game for years, and I loved it. Now, all of a sudden, every time I select a game, it goes to an ad. Every time I finish the game, it goes to an ad. If I accidentally touch the bottom of the screen, it takes me to an ad. Why all of the ads, all of a sudden? For the play alone, I would give it five stars, because I really enjoy this. Now, every time an ad pops up, I leave the game, and come back in. When I come back in, I can play the game. Such a hassle. I'm very disappointed as to how this game is changed.
Fun game with cute old-school style

Currently unplayable
I have loved this game for years, but it’s too bugged to play now. It will freeze the game and my phone randomly. Please fix it!
Great game
I’ve been loving this game for a while, however, my phones been getting really hot since the last update.. not sure if the issue is my phone or this game. Besides that, love playing this style game with colour!!
Crashes Constantly
I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s been great, but for the past month or so it’s been crashing constantly. Sometimes I have to restart the app four or five times just to complete one puzzle. Please fix this issue!
Ads
I love playing this game but would like to get rid of ads. Most other games have an option to pay a small fee to remove ads but I haven’t found a way to do that with this game.
Mentally challenging
So far I am liking this game. It’s pretty straightforward and the tutorial was very helpful for anyone who has not played a game like this before. I don’t detect any cash baiting and have yet to experience an ad. Crossing fingers this game is a keeper.
Impossible to play
Great game, unfortunately your tokens stop accumulating at 10. This is really bad because in order to unlock some of the puzzles you need up to 20 tokens.
Improvements that you could make
I love your app how it's in color and not just black and white but maybe one thing you could do is make a hint that's either free or costs coins that shows you which spaces or squares are incorrect and it won't show you like what it's supposed to be it'll either have an x over it or it'll delete it and if your not interested in that instead of doing it once for a whole puzzle you can see mistakes as you make them maybe you could make it so that you have to do that or it each time you need help
Good game, horrible ads
They’ve started putting on ads that never end. The completion bar fills and it just never goes away and you have to force quit the app.
Decent Color Nonogram
The game itself it fun, the puzzles are good and there’s some decent variety. Though, issues. It’s very streamlined, you’re stuck with a specific set of puzzles to do and don’t have much choice beyond those few. The amount of resources you have to do puzzles diminishes fast and the main way to get more is to either grind and replay levels or just wait, which is annoying. And it does get somewhat ad heavy fast, but I do complete levels fast to be fair. The art style is nice though, which is a small plus.
Favourite ‘puzzle’ game!
I find this game to be just the right balance of challenging and fun! I love it.
Pretty fun
About the only thing I don’t like are the “Punisment Ads” when completing a puzzle. These frequently pop up as soon as you finish a puzzle. Generally they take at least two clicks and a minimum of 10-15 seconds to get through, before you are sometimes offered the opportunity to watch an ad for a free play or tokens. Oh! Also hate that when first opening the game on a new day, there is normally the opportunity to watch an ad for additional tokens. Unfortunately these ads can take up to 2-3 minutes to become available. Highly suspicious when all other ads are instantly available (or unavoidable). New puzzle books are added frequently to keep your interest, making this a great, long term option for new Nonograms. Easy to use interface for problem free gameplay, and easily replinshed game coins for hints if needed. Over all, a great option for Nonogram play that is well worth the install. Edit to 1 star. October 2025. It now has a “feature” with virus like action. Opens a web browser randomly with a “malware check”. Uninstalled for good. Do not recommend.
Fun game, needs an undo button
I’ve been a big fan of this company’s games and this one is no different. But please implement an undo button!
Too many ads
Way too many ads, It says make a purchase and there is no ads. But it must not last too long, because I have ads constantly.
Solid game, but too many ads for me
The game itself was fun and well-made, but the ads were just too frequent and required a lot of careful tapping to get through. It took away from the experience, so I ended up uninstalling.
