Haven’t had opportunity to try it out but the concept is great and very workable. Yes - it would be nice if it included info on how to stop noise from WhatsApp calls/ texts/alarms etc.

Awesome app
Great for adding accessibility to venues. Would be really cool to see live captioning added as a feature in the future, taking incoming signal and creating live captions for it, or allowing the system administrator to import captions.
Too much delay!
I tried it at a conference at Bournemouth International Centre, but found that the lag between the sound from the speaker through the venue’s PA system and the wifi + blue tooth transmission through MobileConnect is unbearably disturbing. It might work well if there was a way to suppress the direct signal, but without that the setup here at BIC is pretty much useless.
Delay
Great idea and I’m really happy this app exists. It makes going to the cinema much easier when I want to reduce sensory overload by listening through my earbuds. The biggest problem is the audio delay. I hear and even feel the loud sounds from the cinema first and only a moment later through my earbuds. That small delay is surprisingly distracting. I would also love to see a dark mode because a bright screen is not ideal in a dark cinema. It would be great if the app allowed users to adjust the audio delay themselves. Similar technology at live concerts can already compensate for differences in timing depending on where you are in the venue, so I think this could really improve the experience. Overall, the idea is fantastic, but fixing or adjusting the audio delay would make a huge difference.

Poor to useless
Cheap alternative to proper t-loop. Turned off after 10 minutes of trying to get decent sound rather than hiss and buzz on my iPhone 16pro. Compare this to Old Vic’s Auri Auracast neck loop which was clear as a bell
Poor bluetooth device experience
I planned on using this app for my daughter at a play tonight and I was disappointed to find out that Bluetooth devices add a significant delay to the audio output by the app in addition to adding distortion. Although the app did warn me about this possible poor Bluetooth experience it was too late we were already at the event and didn’t have access to a wired device. Please add this warning to the app description or surface this issue to users before they try to use the app so users can plan to bring a wired device to use with the app. Good app, great idea. Just need to work out the kinks in user experience.
Keine App für Windows Wenig Optionen asynchrone Ausgabe aber gute Audioqualität
Eine Option zur Aufnahme wäre gut Audio wird asynchron ausgegeben und dadurch hört man sowohl die Stimme vom Sprecher vorher Aber die Audioqualität ist sehr gut und die Gestaltung ist schön. Eine App für Windows wäre sehr gut, dann müsst man während der Vorlesung nur den Laptop benutzen und es wäre kein zusätzliches Handy notwendig

Tonübertragung leider nicht synchron
Bei einem Musical wurde der Ton leider nicht synchron übertragen. Aufgrund der Lautstärke im Saal hört man dadurch alles zeitversetzt doppelt. Sehr schade, aber vielleicht bekommt man das Problem zukünftig noch in den Griff.

C’est vraiment super. Nous sommes allés entendre une pièce d’opéra à la place des arts. À la salle Wilfred Pelletier. C’était le barbier de Séville. Je sais que les écouteurs, Bluetooth ne sont pas recommandés. et justement ça ne fonctionnait pas ce soir. Mais j’ai désactivé. Lecture automatique lors de l'entrée dans une chaîne. Et tout est rentré dans l’ordre. merci beaucoup
Fingers crossed for improvement
I had high hopes using it in a cinema. Connecting up was easy and the sound was good. However, there was a tiny delay which meant it sounded like an echo. That was only tolerable for a few seconds. I appreciate this is new technology and I hope to be able to try it again when this issue is ironed out.

Used at Nottingham Playhouse
Theatres have spent a lot of time and effort discouraging members of the audience from using their phones during a performance. Along you come and encourage the opposite. Having said that my experience was poor. The headphones were useless. I gave up after 5 minutes. I then left at the interval as I could not hear enough. I go to the theatre about 20 times a year. Never have I had such a poor experience since requiring help with my hearing. I will not be returning to the Playhouse if they use your technology.

Dank der App und dem Theater in meiner Stadt kann ich dem Dialog in der Vorstellung wieder folgen. Unkompliziert und einfach gestaltet - sollte in viel mehr Schauspielhäusern angeboten und angewendet werden!
Don’t buy a Sennheiser
Reason being it fails for noise cancelling it barely cancels out background sound and it’s earmuffs are barrow it’s hard to wear

Great idea - does this drain battery though - for instance would it be ok if phone is charged 100% and a show lasts for 4 hours or so?

Saw Prince of Egypt. Little bit of echo very occasionally but other than that, fab. I use Bluetooth hearing aid so sound went through that. Not sure how headphones would be.
