- Ads are fake and look like scams
- Hard to cancel subscription or find support
Love App
Makes stencils from your photos! Perfect !!
Runs ad from literal scams
This apps free version is literally running ads from scammers. The “ad” read this phone is infected with 72 viruses (including broken English and typos), click here to run a free screen. After a couple of seconds, the ad allows you to X. Both Fx Stencil and the App Store need to clean up their service and not take money from literal scam ads.
Decent + App
That app does a great job with stencil Needs improvement: 1. Image output is pixelated. Not smooth edges 2. Need two tone image options. Instead of color and white background exclusive. Do two color options (not gradient). Choose one color for primary and one color for background. So black and blue. (No white)
Clumsy
Only lets you do one stencil. After loading the first image it only ever lets me use that one image. I can’t create a new design. Lame.
It doesn't acess albums on iPhone or mac.
The function of the app on iPhone or mac doesn't access photo albums, only complete, undiferentiated photo library. It's a tempting app but very frustrating.
Fx Review
I am simply amazed at the user friendly capability. Without a doubt I would recommend this program to everyone. The end product is clear visually.
Janky
Do not download this app it sucks and is useless and does not have anywhere to cancel it I paid for a month and am not satisfied but there is nowhere to cancel it before the recurring payment
So good
An excellent app for my phone and my work.
Buggy
Click next & goes to Home Screen more often than not. When it works it works but needs patience & determination.
Watermark
So I paid to have watermark removed but it isn’t working any suggestions
Thumbs up
Cool
Junk app
Don’t waste your money!!!!!!
Brilliant but...
Love this app and would definitely recommend it. I have been looking for a decent app for making stencils and this is by far the best. My only downside is it won't let me open an album so I can retrieve a previous photo, it just goes back to my home screen. I must point out though this only happens for my iPad if I use it on my phone it works perfect, which I find rather strange. If it could be fixed that would amazing and I will change my rating to 5 stars instead. Anyway amazing app worth downloading! P.S. Please fix the bug!!
Bit ordinary!
Won’t let me add anymore new images!
Its good butttt
Keeps crashing😩😩

Disappointed
Worked great on my Pic. I could not figure out how to load more pics .
Great app for Black/White contrast
Great for learning how to draw black an white pictures.
No option for multilayer, cont watermarks and advertising
Once I pay for something I don’t expect to see more adds or for my images to have watermarks. This app is okay but it’s BASIC. Single layer- you don’t need to pay to get what this app gives you!
Bom aplicativo
Instalado para trabalho de artes
Stencil app
This app is so amazing from stencils to actual art pieces put on a wall this app makes everything so easy !!!😀🙏🏽
Crashes
Every time I select a photo and hit next, the app crashes
Cannot make stencils
I cannot use the stencil it’s not opening at all
Sad about the update
With the older version , I could transpose a white image and make it a stencil! I wish I would not have updated :(
Not that bad, can be a useful app
This app has a lot of bad reviews but it’s a nice tool to have if you use vectors a lot.
Not a stencil maker
So not only is this NOT a stencil maker(turning pictures into high contrast bi-color images isn’t the same as creating a stencil) but the image examples are highly misleading. There is no tool you can use to simplify the lines of transition or make them crisper.
Doesn’t work properly
When I select a photo, the app closes. It works with some images but not others. It is nice when it works.
FxStencil
I love it , it makes it so much easier for me to do my art work
Terrible
Couldn’t add more pictures. Only had one style to try, the rest you had to buy sight unseen. Lots of ads. Waste of time.
Wont access photo library
it was working fine and then it crashed and now it wont access my photo library.
Great simple app
Love this app- it does exactly what I wanted- creates stencils with minimal fuss and maximum results
Bad
I can only pick one color for the whole entire picture
Limited
It won’t access all my photos
good
i like app
Trash
Makes a strange, no detail silhouette of things. Can’t really even make out what your looking at tbh. This app is useless.
Great
Great!
Good
I like this app
Limited and ADS
Good luck doing anything.
Please fix
Miss the old invert option. Please put that back
