Vale a pena? Eu acho que sim, a bateria dura umas 8h gravando a sessão e se não surfar dura uns 30 dias. Legal ter o registro de distância, tempo de sessão, velocidade e ondas surfadas, mesmo que as vezes não marque corretamente.

Is ok but often glitches

The app is not available on Android devices The watch often struggles to find the gps signal early in the morning in Western Australia Some days the watch does not record any waves, but still counts paddles and distance travelled during a session. Other days it just starts counting waves while sitting on your board You have to reset the watch monthly if you surf a lot

★★★☆☆ United States · v3.0.9 · 23 Sept 2025

So much unrealized potential…

1) Allow us to delete individual waves. The app picks up too many fake signals - a duck dive on a big one that pushes you back a bit or a wave that you paddled and paddled for but didn’t quite get. Those and other hallucinations count as waves. We should be able to swipe left to delete individual waves or non waves as the case may be. 2) Why are wave lengths shown in feet?Nobody talks about riding a wave for 1180 feet or even 20 feet. Those distance measurements should be in yards. After surfing an epic session at a long point break or reef, we now have to do a bunch of mathematical gymnastics before we know how far we were going. 3) Also, the video playback from the last version of the app was fun. Why take that away? Bottom line, the GPS 3 watch is a good product as were the original versions 1 and 2. Th software functionality has always been the weak link and it really shouldn’t be that hard to bring the functionality into the modern era.

So far not impressed

The app needs work if it can sync to the watch why not show me more info like if I used to record a walk or run it should be able to show me those on the app too I feel like it’s ridiculous having to pay an extra 30 dollars a year since I already paid for the watch and Surfline premium different company but the apps connect. This is not something so amazing that you should charge for the year to use should come free with watch purchase. But again app should be able to control the watch and make it easier to configure settings and see the stats after not only for surfing but other activities too.

One trick pony

This was bought the gps 2 watch as a Xmas present and it is fantastic as an easy to use surfers watch, but the app really limits the functionality to only that. Making it an expensive single purpose gadget. As per previous reviews, the app could be expanded with sort functions e.g locations, top speed, longest waves etc. Plus separate surfs from running, swimming etc. If the watch could be used with other apps (e.g. strava) then it may also appeal to a wider audience. Thank you for reading.

Needs improvement!

Needs updating in line with Search GPS 2 Watch. At present all activities are recorded as surfs. Would be nice to see information relating to other activities such as pace, elevation etc. I am trying to sync my watch with the wind units as MPH but won’t change to anything other than knots. Would be awesome to be able to search by location too, to see who else surfs there and how they perform! Ability to export GPS as GPX file data would be extremely useful and is something I’d love to see in the future!
