This game is awesome and im addicted! But why do you have to pay for it? I was done with the first chapter in like 30 mins, i know you need money for an amazing game like this but you couldve maybe put small ads or something? I love this so much, if you have money, defo get it!

It’s a good game!
So I just got this game today and I love it, the characters are cute, the plot is intriguing. But I have a few problems so number one I have just finished episode one and I want to keep playing but it won’t let me purchase the next episode it says “ in app purchasing is not available at this moment”, next will there be more episodes because I don’t want to spend money on this if it’s only going to last for so long, next the main character designs I feel like maybe you could add at least one or two more designs or maybe add a store were there are accessories or something like that, and instead of using real money you could do something like if we reach a certain level with the characters we unlock them but other than that it’s a great game.

What’s the point in only releasing one episode then have the rest you pay for? The plot is good but not good enough to make you wanna pay for the rest. I understand that a business has to make money somehow but wouldn’t you be getting more revenue and downloads if you just ran ads & offered your consumers to pay for no advertisements? You’d most likely get better reviews if that was the case.

This app was so fun! But the only thing really wrong with it was, when you finished the episode, you would have to buy the other episodes. And they should be free.

Sweet Story and Gorgeous Art
I played through this sim several times as the chapters were launching. I have the song dedicated to one of the later chapters downloaded, and when it came on a few minutes ago I decided to stop in and see if this developer had any new games. Ignore the queerphobic flame reviews and give this adorable sim a chance.

Ok so when I first downloaded this game I was like ok let’s do this! 1hour later I finished chapter 1 and I was just bout to play chapter 2 but it said pay!? I was like what the heck!? So I need to find another game!pls make the stories free in a week or 2!?

Not worth the money.
It’s a nice game. I can tell that much by the first episode. It’s dainty in the best way possible. You have to click twice on a highlighted choice which means it gets a bit stuck, but I can work with that. But it’s NOT WORTH THE MONEY. It’s nice but not THAT nice. It’s not got the same level of professionalism as paid games in its genre. I’m using an iPhone XR and it doesn’t allow for the full screen small details like that matter when paying for it. But an even bigger issue is that in general the writing for the script, while it’s good, it’s not good enough to pay such a high price for. It’s only good enough as a free game. If this was free this would get a 4 star easily but I have to review it as a paid game. Other paid games in this genre are better. This doesn’t cut the mark. In conclusion as an entirely free game it’s wonderful but as a paid game (as it is currently) there are better options to spend your money on.

I've loved this game so much ever since i was little, it introduced me to queer media and helped me discover my identity. It'd really be great if you guys could release LongStory 2 in the app store because i would love to play and i don't have steam lol. ❤️

So you make a game that's gonna attract middle to high schoolers which most don't have a job or their own income and then make 9 out of 10 episodes 2 dollars each. Real smart. Also, this game isn't political so the other reviews are stupid too.

alright so, i remember playing this game about a year or two ago and loving it. so of course i decided to get it again to play for funsies, but when i went to go purchase the second episode it said in app purchasing isn't available? i exited the app and redid the episode, but it still happened. please fix this or if something's wrong on my end let me know! i'd really like to replay this game again ):

You know essentially have to pay to play the game cuz after chapter one you gotta use real money. As someone who can’t pay in any way it was sad that I had to give up the game I think this game has a lot of potential so the fact that I can’t play the rest of the game is just sad.

It started out good but your telling me I have to pay 2 bucks just to get to the next episode? No thanks…at that point just make the game a paid one then make all the episodes free, felt like a trick. It was good but cmon really? Spent 20 minutes on the first episode and was happy to finally find a queer choice-dating sim high school setting but I have to pay 2 bucks just to get to episode 2. I was really enjoying episode one of the game, and when I was done episode one, BEHOLD! You have to PAY to play episode two. I hate when mobile games are installed for free and you have to pay to actually play the game. It would have been a 5-star if it weren’t for the money grab.
Love! But…
I LOVE LongStory, don’t get me wrong. It has a beautiful art style and good characters and minority representation. However, the only thing that’s free is the first episode, and the other 9 or so episodes are $1.99. This is a problem for kids (who’s parents won’t let them) and those who just don’t want to spend that kind of money. I still really love the game, though. It’s amazing overall.

This game was really good but, when I finished episode one it said I had to pay to be able to get to the second episode. I was hoping that wouldn’t happen until like the 3rd-5th episode. I’m currently in a tough spot in life and I use games like this to help me get through it.
Episode 8 Glitch,,,
This is probably one of my favorite visual novels I’ve read. It feels nice to have a MC that looks like you and have realistic options and decisions to make. That being said, I’ve been having trouble in unlocking the final episode? I purchased it, but it keeps registering as if no purchase was made. I really hope that gets fixed, even if this is an old game.

I’ll keep it short and simple, you have to pay $2 for every episode and there’s 10, 20 bucks for a phone game doesn’t sound worth it to me, but otherwise the game is pretty good.
reason for episode costs
everybody is upset at the fact episodes past 1 cost money. there's actually a reason. the game costs $10 on other platforms, eg the switch & steam. in total, all the episodes round up to 10 bucks, so ur actually getting a free episode and the rest are the same cost on other platforms. the game is actually really good and has an interesting plot (even though I get so much second hand embarrassment from our mc 😭) if u wanna see the whole thing and have a love interest, try searching on YT: "longstory [character name] route" (I chose marcel :'3)

Nice game. It carries some problems though. The first is that you have to pay money to continue. The makers could’ve just made an energy bar in Long Story, buying energy when you run out and waiting for it to recharge. Secondly, the game’s option bar is too crammed. There is lots of space to put the options but the makers don’t use it. Even worse, I use a small phone, making it even more difficult. Overall this game is meh.
