miss the old game play
I use to play this game a lot when i was little and i downloaded it again because i use to love it but when i did i saw that i wasn’t able to get my old account back but thats not the worst part i use to be able to buy dragons with just coins instead of gems ( not the cool dragons but the regular ones ) and it only took good to level up dragons not 50 gems this game is fun but it’s honestly just a money grab now to get you to buy gems since everything takes gems instead of coins

Issues
My son loves the game but it crashes and is hard to find help. We have 3 eggs ready to hatch but need a sun or war habitat. He has 14mil coins, we select habitat, then go to place it & are denied because “you dont have enough resource”… what does this mean??! Then it sends to screen to buy packs. Why? We have the coins. Why no explanation of what is needed? Now he cant move forward with much.

I preferred the original version of the game where you could choose the powers of the dragons while you battle, now all you do is watch for a few seconds it makes the whole game so boring because all you do know is watch a screen and wait for everything.

This game is super fun and you’ll like it if you like older dragon games except they re-edited it and it has an older dragon aspect with a twist with a modern twist now it has all new features so also if you played this back in the day, like I did now they added all new feature which is pretty cool it’s a good time passer✌️

Honestly my favorite mobile game that I very vividly remember and searched vigorously to find. After 6 years I’ve found it again.
Uh…something is off…
So this game is cool but there is a issue. The dragons get TOO expensive at higher levels and they just stay expensive. Plz lower the prices of the dragons because after a while, I wont be able to get any dragons. Also, another thing I recommend is an ad thingy for gold or more ways to earn gold. Otherwise, this game would be my fav ever.

I love the game and at present I cannot play because I have 3 king eggs in the hatchery, no way to get them out either. I have 11 million coins ….the cost of the King Habitat but the game won’t let me cos Not enough resources!!!, Please get the bugs out cos I’m near to wiping the game!

It’s a good game, but there are 2 issues that I think should be fixed. 1. The game is very ad-hungry. In order to get 8 gems you have to watch a ad. And if you want more than 8, you’ve got to keep on watching ads. 2. During leveling up your dragons, there will be a button that gives the option if you want to evolve your dragon. And if you press the button, it says you have to have 50 gems in order to evolve a dragon. Really? 50 gems? There are very little ways on how to earn gems. Also, once you’ve evolved your dragon to the second stage, and want to evolve it to its last stage, it costs you 80 gems. And even more than it costs regularly. Please try to fix this!

Very fun, currency is not cheap, unless you get the 5 Dollar bundles, its very easy to get gems, just watch adds, some times you can’t thou, but yeah its very fun I play this a lot so yeah its worth it, and its a really good dragon game. Like for more dragons game reviews

I had high hopes for this game, then I found out that everything except building habitats, feeding dragons, building structures, and removing obstacles costs gems, not to mention constant ads when you try to play mini games, not a single mini game where there’s an ad after

Hi. (I’m going straight to the point) 1. why did the dragons look like that? they just look weird. 2. You can’t name your dragons. In my other dragon games you can. If you can name them, please tell me.
Updates changed the game BIG time
I’ve first played this game in 2015 and last played this game in 2017, I’ve installed it again as I had missed this game. Guess what? The updates changed the game and there’s ads EVERY single battle I play. The game system was so much different, and it’s not for the better, it’s for the worse. You used to be able to select which opponent to hit, now it’s just automated and loses its whole point in arena or just battles to begin with. Definitely quite disappointed and most likely won’t install this again.. I gave it 2 stars only b/c it was good back in 2017 ish, else I would’ve just gave a 1 star from the updates they’ve implemented on the game.

My game was completely changed from Dragon City to this new version. I have lots of money with a minus sign next to it, food and gems. I can use none of it. I have spent plenty of money and have collected dragons over the years and I can’t play the game. Even though the App was updated in June of 2023 it didn’t help. I can’t find any website to write too or anything. I’m writing this in hopes someone will read this and have pity on me! My name is Ginger Della on the game. I’m on 103. I have 326 M berries,4192 gems and -262554963 coins of which I can’t use probably because a negative sign appeared in front of my coins. I’m 66 years old and retired and really enjoyed this game. I’ve played this game for Seven years know and it’s changed a lot like the battling style? I liked the old battle style where you could chose the moves unlike this where it does it automatically and you just sit there and watch and to evolve them you have to use gems?! Like come on
What a Game.
This should be fun. If you’re thinking for a second of downloading this dumpster fire, please consider reading my review first. This game was bad enough before the update about a year ago that massacred a bunch of its mechanics. Even before that, I remember placing the War Dragon in a habitat crashed my game, so I couldn’t progress any further. Maybe that was just a me problem, though, I don’t know. Some of the dragons look suspiciously similar to dragons from other dragon collecting games, namely ones like the Butterfly Dragon, which reminds me just a little bit of a certain dragon from Dragon City... The dragons used to have bios (and I can’t understand why they were removed), and I remember the Sun and Moon Dragons’ bios being almost completely ripped from DragonVale, aside from having broken English. Oh yeah, did I mention the broken English? Calling it awful would be generous. To be fair, you eventually get used to it, but for example, “Requires 30 Gems to reach next VIP” …Sorry? I should get onto how the game is after the update before I reach the word limit. This stupid update ruined so many things about this game that were actually half decent. You know how the base element dragons cost coins in, like, every game like this? Well, that used to count for this game, too, before they made them cost Gems as well as breedable dragons. Speaking of breeding, they ruined that, too. Now, all the dragons only have one element, whereas the breedable ones used to have two, so breeding is almost completely random. The whole “put two or more elements together” thing these games push is useless in this one (more so than it used to be), because what’s the point if I don’t know what I’m getting? I could put a pure Fire-element and pure Earth-element in and get a pure Magic-element out. Excuse me, what the hell? In fact, this has caused the problem of players being able to breed dragons they can’t hatch yet, and this is actually what prompted me to make this review. I have two Sun Dragons and a King Dragon sitting in my completely full hatchery, with nowhere near enough money to buy the habitats for any of them. You might not think that’s a problem, but you know what? You can’t sell a dragon from the hatchery, or send it to your inventory to place later, and I’m pretty sure you’ve never been able to. In fact, there’s no inventory mechanic at all. As soon as you tap a hatchery slot occupied by an egg that has finished hatching, it takes you straight to the first habitat with space for the dragon. Sure, if it’s a repeat, you can sell it from the habitat after hatching it, but that doesn’t help at all if you can’t place the dragon in the first place. Because of this, I have a full hatchery and can’t get any new dragons from breeding until I save up enough to buy their stupid habitats. I lose more of my will to keep playing this game every day… The update also makes it so that you can’t upgrade buildings anymore. For some reason. That means I can’t upgrade my habitats or farms, and just have to wait until I reach a high enough level to buy upgraded ones directly from the market. But you know why that’s slightly less annoying than it should be? How brilliantly unbalanced this game is. It’s so bad it’s almost good. Within a week of playing on a new game (I should add that your progress isn’t saved if you delete the game, which I have many times), I have a five-star dragon - that’s basically a legendary - and soon to be two. Some four-star dragons are sold at the ridiculously low price of 20 Gems in the market, which is definitely a result of the developer not redoing the balancing of pricing after making the update. Oh, and Gems. Almost EVERYTHING in this game costs Gems, excluding (most) buildings, habitats and decorations. And get this - in most games, dragons evolve into their older forms automatically as you feed them, right? Not in this game. To be fair, I’ve seen a few other games with manual evolution, but never one in which it’s one of the things that costs Gems. Because of this, almost every dragon I have is still in its baby form, because it isn’t worth wasting Gems on evolutions for dragons I’m not going to use for battle or breeding. Speaking of battle, I think it’s the most boring thing I’ve ever done. It’s completely automatic, with no way to turn that off or speed it up. All you can do is sit there and watch until it’s over. Anyway back to Gems. Because of how ridiculous Gems are, around every corner you turn is an offer to watch an ad for somewhere between 8 and 12 free Gems, because I don’t think there’s anything our presumably singular developer craves more than sweet ad revenue. Speaking of, in-app purchases are everywhere, too, but that’s no surprise to anyone for an app like this. Do not waste your money on THIS, please. The last thing I can think of off the top of my head is the way the game looks. The art by itself is surprisingly decent, but the animation, not so much. That doesn’t really surprise me, considering the fact that, like I said, I think the development of this game is a solo project. Completely solo. Geometry Dash levels of solo. Maybe the dev hired someone to make the art and animations and never credited them. I wouldn’t even be surprised if they just… found and stole random assets. But who am I to make assumptions? Either way, beyond awful game. Opening it gives me a sinking feeling, and the way it’s balanced is all that keeps me playing it. Thank you for sitting through my massive rant (why?), and keep in mind that I’m not telling you to stay away from this game. I’m just… warning you of what’s to come if you do.
I loved the game but…
I loved the game but I am at the point where I have two eggs in the nest that both need a habitat that I just can’t afford so there just there filling up space and in the breeder it’s the same! Please either make the habitats cheaper or be able to discard an egg!

It’s okay but
I remembered playing this game when it was different before the change. I just came back after redownloading it and I am completely disappointed that it changed from when it was a good game. It still an okay game. But the only problems I have is that the types starters dragons costs gems now instead of coins and the evolution costs gems instead of just automatically going into the next evolution this includes using coins as part of feeding them too. Also please bring theses mechanics back in the future. Including the old gameplay for the battle mechanic too plus the breeding as well. I may come back if these wishes are made true for everyone. Please make this happen devs.

Brings back memories
I used to have this game when I was younger, when you were still able to level them up to unlock more powerful attacks in battle. I loved doing that until it was changed to you just watching them fight, I miss doing the attacks myself a lot. I now don’t play the game that much.

Good game but now it’s broken.
I used to play this game with my friend that is until I found a glitch/bug about the money. We were seeing who would make the most money in two days and he won, except when he tried to buy the dragon we wanted the next day it said,” you need (for example) -160348394798 more coins in order to buy this, want to buy some coupons?” Let me tell you we were mad! We spent all this time just so it could break?! I would casually play this game in my free time but I don’t want to keep starting over due to this money glitch. Please fix this! 😞
Love it - but needs work
I love this game but there are so many bugs that it no longer allows me to play properly. I have to continually close and restart the app in order to play it. The battle function is no longer available due to the freezing. Also the daily dragon is now always the same kind of dragon - it needs some updating. But I like the breeding feature, which allows to breed and create new types of dragons. The concept is really good and the battles are interesting.

Great game but buggy
Great game but very buggy! I have issues with: Most of the time I cannot access the events island, it just has a blank screen. Sometimes after a tournament, my coins go into the minuses (billions into the minuses) and after a few battles it bakes back to normal. I always get the arrow to battle even when I haven’t got any hearts left to battle which is distracting. My goals don’t always reset once I’ve achieved the goal 2 of my goals are to take a photo with a certain dragon, but as far as I can tell there is no option. Taking a photo with the setting option doesn’t work, and taking a screenshot doesn’t. I can’t log into Facebook with it, every time I’ve tried it says error. Tapping in the dragons does not make them roar 😔 The spend gems is sneakily placed, so it’s ridiculously easy to click it by accident, and it’s also not clear on certain pop ups that you will spend gems in something (eg heart refill on battles I’ve done by accident a few times) Anyways it’s fun and I’ve been enjoying it, I just wish these things were better. Some suggestions: I love the battle part! But I wonder if you could make it even more like Pokemon, with extra options and potions, maybe make it more in-depth so it’s even more strategy rather than just levelling up the dragons. Thankyou for the game though and I’m so Happy it’s ad free!

It’s a fun and addictive game but baffle the latest version you wouldn’t have to pay gems to be able to level up and as they are so hard to get you quickly run out say you got a rare event Dragon and you want to level him up so you can battle but you don’t have eney gems it’s supper annoying and you have to pay real munny for practice everything not bye doing tasks but bye lowering you bank account ido not recommend this game at all

Not always playable
The graphics are okay, really like the different dragons and the wishing well. However, the game would be more fun if it would load right away instead of frequently kicking me out. It used to load well, but then after the second day, the game kept kicking me out every time I loaded it. Sometimes I had to reload it three times before it would actually load and let me play. Now it's just kicking me out. I guess my iPhone 5c is not good enough for anyone to continue supporting it. Such a shame, because I was starting to really enjoy this game
