Cool app
I’m really enjoying this app
…buggy in a very ugly way.
…buggy in a very ugly way — and after deleting and reinstalling, it demands another payment for a Pro version that’s already been paid for!

Could not figure out how to make this work
there are no instructions with this, and I spent 20 minutes, trying to figure out how to get it to work. it's a nice idea, but instructions would be appropriate.

Doesn't work
There are no instuctions. The site doen't work. DON'T Buy!!
Can play Black MIDI
And just for that, I give it 5 stars.
No workie
The link to the instructions gives a 'server not found'
Outstanding product!!!
I couldn’t be more pleased with the functionality and quality of this product! Contrary to some of the other reviews, everything works great!!!. I can easily download midi files from any network or local drive and convert them back to midi after making changes with the Score. Wonderful!
does not work
literally does not work do not waste your time with this
Great app with one major drawback
Love every feature of this app. One of the best out there! It cannot however connect to other devices such as a digital piano or keyboard, through cable or via Bluetooth, which frankly is worth more than 1 point. I like it so much otherwise that I only took out 1. :)
Bugs
This app crashes CONSTANTLY. Want to change what tracks are being played? Be ready to see your home screen. Accidentally swiped and changed what piece you’re working on? You’ll restart the app before you can switch back.
Apple version has a bug
The android version works great but in the apple version when the music has quickly repeating notes the player just skips the repeats it makes hard to learn my fast rhythmic music.
Great
This is like the computer midi player but now i can use it a anywhere!
The player feature doesn’t work.
I purchased this to hear and play files. The scoring feature is terribly limited and produces no sound? Really, hopefully someone will explain why?
播放不了怎么办啊！
为什么有时可以播放，有时播放不了？
Download of MIDI files is not at all clear
I downloaded the app and can play the one pre-loaded tune. However, the directions about finding MIDI files online, downloading and then actually finding on my IPad don’t make sense. (I have Sweet Midi player and can get MIDI files without difficulty.) Hopefully the creator of this app can instruct more clearly. Thanks
It works, but has a lot of problems too
I'm just starting to learn the bass guitar and downloaded this for my practice sessions. Midi files from the 'net download directly into the app. I can turn off the bass tracks of a song and play that part myself. Most importantly, I can slow the tempo for songs to a speed I can keep up with. That's just what I need. But there are real frustrating bugs in the program too. Transposing songs often causes crashes. And pressing the play button at the lower left of the page can cause a flip to a different song. Even worse ... sometimes flipping between songs causes one song to play as the app steps thru the score for a DIFFERENT song! I keep waiting for a new release to fix some of these bugs, but thus far none is forthcoming.
Please provide info/link to upgrade to PRO version ($4.99)
160729 Update: Upgrade successful; thank you! Info: Redeemed iTunes card (NOT intuitive) by scrolling to bottom of "Featured" (STAR) menu. 160726 Update: In settings - removed app upgrade/purchase restrictions; unfortunately, the App Store will not except the iTunes card (only credit cards). Original message (160723): Please provide info/link to upgrade to PRO version ($4.99). Thank you! P.S. Does the PRO version include additional sound fonts / instruments?
App Crashes!
I just bought the paid version of this app because I really liked the free one. I wanted it to transpose the music. But mostly everything I try to change crashes the app. For example, after I transpose a song, it crashes and I have to restart the app. I want to give it many more stars … but the crashes must be fixed to make this paid app usable. Please fix!

No sound?!
I was able to download a midi file and see the scoring the app, but could not get any sound when the score was played.
It's ok
It's an ok player, but if you try to play anything really complicated like Circus Galop, it will choke due to the amount of notes being handled. Synesthesia is much better suited for playing complex music.
Mr lee2
I just reinstalled this app and upgrade it but after I downloaded songs. It crashes and won't open again
UFO
No instructions, no idea if it works
I love it
I love how you can download midis off of websites!
Useful App
What happen. With the new updates. Now it crashes on my iPhone6 Plus.
Instruments
Instead of just guitar, piano and flute, you should just make the songs play in their original instruments.
Love it, thank you!
Please keep it coming!… I love the work you have done so far, and I’m more than glad to purchase your upgrade. Please keep working on your concept, this is worth further development. More power to you!!

Good conversion midi to sheet music
It is very interesting to see all my favorite midis come to life so I may play them with the sheet music. I like how simple it is, and the way it separates each layer of music. It crashes, a lot. I am not sure if it does so in the Pro because I am apprehensive to spend the money just to have it crash every time I upload a song, fix the title, or change layers.
Great idea - VERY UNSTABLE
This is a great idea - an app that creates sheet music from Midi files. However, in reality, this app crashes. All. The. Time. So far I've uploaded about 10 songs to it. All I've been doing is listening to a few of them and fixing the names. Yet, the app has crashed during the uploading process repeatedly - after every couple uploads (from my email). Once the songs are in the app and I begin editing the names while listening to them, again, after every couple of songs the app crashes. I didn't *really* need the sheet music aspect of this app! but it intrigued me and seemed useful. However, it is NOT useful when the app repeatedly crashes regardless of whether I need the sheet music or not. I can't even play the songs without crashes. Great idea - BAD execution.
Puts all notes in treble cleft?
I loaded a song I had entered, it think it played all notes, but it only displayed treble cleft and showed the base notes tacked on underneath and only went down 4 lines then put x indicating note there or under? I need a midi app that I can use to show others the 4 part harmonies in the proper clefts. It would be nice to allow editing, but I can do that else where if needed
Must Have
This is probably one of the best things I could ever find for playing music. I can easily upload MIDI files onto it and easily play piano and even hear it played! This app is awesome and I'm glad I found it. Only problem is that the first note isn't heard when it's played. But it's still an amazing app!
No sound
Midi storage only. Will not play sounds on iPhone xr
Songbook +. Ver. 1.2.7 Pro
Bought the "Pro" version & haven't used it for long, but it seems to function as described & I'm quite pleased! Importing the midi files from email was seamless and very easy. Words come in also, if they are included in the midi file! Shows treble or bass clef or both. Very simple to transpose to a different key. Only has flute, piano or guitar 'instruments' to play the music, but they're OK to practice with. All said, I'm very pleased with the App especially since Apple didn't have ANY means to play a midi file!!! My kudos to the developer--nice job on a handy & useful App!
too soon
It has beautiful UI. I believe it has been released too soon. It only has treble clef; no bass nor grand clef.. Bass notes are depicted misplacedly and as x notes. you can not scroll pages. It can only handle playing from beginning of a song. No multitrack view. No edit function. Long way to go Dev.
NWC file import, key change
Can you support nwc file import? Noteworthy composer is easy composing software. I have to export midi and open it, which is tedious job Also key change is not showing, instead it is showing original key and change all notes for key change. Please fix this issue.
