Great!
This is a great app. You can see how long until your bus but you can also see where buses are and their info.
Allows disgraceful scams
Having ads that get in the way of the app is one (bad) thing. But this app allows scam adverts that pop up and say things like “Your phone has been infected” and say that you can’t continue using your device unless you download a clean-up app. (Of course, this is not true. It’s a scam.) This is disgraceful and I am surprised that Apple allows the developers to do this. Some people will be alarmed by these scam messages and will pay for a service they don’t need. Such scaremongering and con tricks should be stopped now.
It's a godsend
After all those years of waiting too long and then giving up just before the bus came, or of picking the worst route, BusChecker makes all the difference! It's a little slow to open, but well worth it.
Timing is horrible
Everytime I check the bus app my bus always comes 5 minutes early or 5 minutes late no in between. Very inaccurate timings that I can’t predict
Ad removal too expensive
Loved this app until the ads started taking over, nearly 30 seconds long. I’d happily pay for the removal, if it wasn’t so expensive,£6.99, most other apps are a £1 or £2. Time to delete.

This app used to be great, was always a go to when needing to check times. Now? Constantly and consistently behind. Seriously, sort it out.

The ads ruin it
They should make a paid version and get rid of the annoying adverts which really spoil this app for me. Just want a simple bus times app, not one that throws up annoying adverts most times I need to check the bus schedule at a bus stop. Removing this app!
Ad is too long
Just want to check bus time but forced to watch a long advert. Also the long ad video eats too much mobile data.

The ads make you mad
You have to close the app quickly to avoid having to suffer ads that cover the screen. With each update the app gets worse. There are better ones out there.
Bring back the Watch app
The old London Bus Checker had a Watch app that was perfect: nearby stops at a glance without getting out your phone. I can only assume it was canned because the phone is where the ads get shown. But there's no indication that if I shell out to stop the ads there will also be a Watch app. Also, the interface is generally much poorer than the old app. Disappointed.
Old version
Old version is cleaner. Cannot see timetables, would be nice to use them. Still use older version, pity it crashes when I want to see a bus whole route.

Fix this rubbish app i miss 2 bus because this amazing app said the bus stop is close but in reality was open!!
Ads are too long
Some of the adds last a long time and make this app very frustrating when you’re trying to arrange your travel options quickly. The long adverts come up every time you’ve not used the app for a an hour or so I think.
Too complicated for me
I have found that apps are a mystery to me because I am unfamiliar with the terminologies used. I “missed the beginning”. Having arrived at the bus stop, by the time I had got out my glasses and was still trying to work out whether to click the stop on the map or the one on the list, the bus would whizz past before I saw it. I am 76. I think younger people even understand the language used by Facebook.

awful app. having to see a 30 sec/1 min unskipable add every time u open the app is unbearable.
Unusable due to ads
I appreciate the need for ads for revenue but I can no longer use this app because the ads take so long when you’re trying to check quickly if a bus is coming or not. A 5 sec as would be fine, but they are 30 seconds. I have found an alternative.

This bus checker used to be the best. Now it’s rubbish. It used to show a map with the bust stop on it. Which made it really easy to find bus stop. Now it’s no longer showing the map, the new way it’s being done is absolutely rubbish. I hate it
Once great, now mediocre at best
What previously was easy-to-use, clear and straightforward is now a usability dog’s breakfast, with an ugly interface. And as for the ads, they make the app near unusable. (Great job, UX team!)
Terrible relaunch
Returned to London after 3 years away. My fav bus app now ruined. Too many ads and pop ups. Will have to use TFL instead
The pop-up ads make this app an irritating nightmare
No longer can one rely on flicking up the app without this irritating new monetising feature of ads popping up!

Times of bus
So it’s really annoying that you do not get full times of the buses. Some mornings I check the app to see the time of a bus and it will show 26 minutes which I know is not correct as the bus is approaching me so it’s not accurate. Please fix as it annoying

The ads make this unusable
It’s fine to have ads but the ones that pop up and make the app unusable for 30seconds really make it useless. I can’t quickly check my app because I know I’ll have to watch an ad before I can see whether I need to run for a bus or not. Also I do think this app is needlessly complicated compared to the old version. Just too many words on the screen when really it should be a simple place to check buses. I think the UI is really ugly. I mean I’ll be fair to it and say it’s pretty accurate so it’s still a useful app in many ways I’ll just always go for Citymapper instead and deal with slightly less accurate results if it means I won’t have to watch an ad everytime.
Used to be really useful, now fairly unusable.
I’m not sure if this is run by the same. Developer, sold to a new developer or the company sold to a new owner but whichever it is, they have turned an indispensible part of my travel toolkit into a useless ad clickbait trap. A modest fee would be preferable to this. Complete fail.
Minimalist design with minimalist functions
This app used to be useful and informative before the UI redesign. Now one cannot easily search for a bus route and how exactly it runs in map view. One has to guess which exact bus stop the bus route stops at to bring the remaining route to view. Why is it that people can’t just search for a bus route and have its entirety displayed on the map like in the old UI? Why make it so difficult to plan a journey?
