Best local weather forecast
The Weather Authority from Local 10 has the most accurate current conditions, future forecast and radar data. Their app has now been moved to my home page. ☀️☁️⚡️💨💦🌦️

Somehow, this app always has my location wrong. It thinks it’s where I was four days ago.
Great Emotional Support
It’s ok not perfect. Lots of warnings that never happen. Lighting 8 miles away and I will never get railed on. It’s raining now and I never got a rain notice. I get more notifications of stuff I will never see and no notification of stuff that is actually happening. I see storms building nearby that won’t show up on the radar. Maybe they aren’t dense enough. If I switch to clouds it’s just shows clouds are everywhere. The past and future never happens the same as reality. It’s always two or three steps behind. The video replay is a nice feature but sometimes isn’t updated as often as it could be. Middle of the day and Julie is still on from 7:00 am. The general forecasts and planners are ok.

Needs A Plain Background for Planner & Daily
Although the newest background photo of blue sky with white clouds is beautiful, it makes reading the data very difficult. Please return to a solid color background.

Talking when you wanna just see the weather
Do not want to hear the news just wanna watch what weather is doing can’t turn it off
Needs a minor repair
Works great and have been using it for years, but lately I press the arrow to check the radar but shows —:— and can’t see the rain. :(

Was working perfectly fine then all of a sudden started force closing. Won’t work

Good but difficult to get used to app changes.
Could have been good
if it wasn't so poorly designed. Any hover of a finger triggers some unpredictable behavior taking you where you had no intention to go. They need to hire a real UI designer. They have access to good information, now it just needs to be presented in a usable way. As of now, presentation is absolutely awful.
New look is difficult to read
In Dec 2024 this app introduced a “vibrant new look” but unfortunately it’s now extremely difficult to read. Nearly everything on the screen is blue and turquoise, so users are trying to read blue on blue items—it’s not easy. The icons were made smaller and are now also difficult to read - is that rain? Hail? Lightning? Can’t tell. While the look is indeed vibrant, the usefulness of the app is significantly reduced as you just can’t read the thing. There are no options for larger icons, plain background, contrasting colors, color blindness, or visual impairment. Needs a lot of work.

Used to be great
Several months ago the app stopped opening up. I’ve tried to re-add it and restart my phone. Nothing helps. It used to be the best weather app for the radar. I was even using it after moving to NC. I’ll miss it.
Can’t read with Al the colors
Why can’t you leave a good thing alone. A man must have designed the new look!
Terrible change
This used to be a 5 star app until the recent changes. It used to be easy to navigate between 5 and 10 forecasts and live radar and to check future weather for cities you’re traveling to. Not anymore. Also, why are low temperatures written in blue over a blue background?
“Best Hurricane Weather”, hands down !
I’ve tracked hurricanes for over 30 years and lost my home in 1992 to hurricane Andrew. Weather Authority is my go-to ‘peace of mind’, day in and day out.
You ruined the App with the changes you made. HORRIBLE !!!

Weather Authority
I am VERY DISGUSTED with the changes that have been made to channel 10’s Weather Authority. I used to look at the radar and it showed me what was going on, but now it’s too involved to even bother with. I enjoyed reading about the upcoming days forecast but now that feature is gone- they have an audio/Vidio instead and it’s involved to get to see it! Sadly, I guess I’m going to have to search around for something not so technical.
Lightning
Love the app, but ever since they updated the app, the lighting feature doesn’t work on the radar. Will have to find a new app now

Unable to update for several days now
Changes not user friendly
App was better before all the changes! Now it’s super confusing on how use it appropriately.
Video updates
The weather videos do not change on time. Currently the video showing on my app is showing from Friday August 2 and today is the 7th. Other than that, it’s a good app.

This used to be a great app, however, the latests version is horrible, it jumps by itself from sections and the options and map are just not top notch anymore!!!

I much prefer the old version. Way easier to navigate and get radar/information.
Worthless
The application consistently deviates from the weather forecasts presented on television news broadcasts. In contrast, applications such as WeatherBug exhibit significantly higher accuracy and precision in their weather predictions.
No radar
I liked this app before when you can see radar, and rain coming towards us. Now there’s no radar. I don’t understand why not
Too Clunky
The old version was simple and obvious. Its complexity isn’t necessary, Future hourly information and maps for various locations is sufficient.

App changes are unwanted. The old app was easier to navigate for users in other parts of the country.
