体重計に乗るだけで記録されていくので体重管理しやすい。 今まで食べ過ぎた翌日は体重計に乗りたくなかったのですが毎日乗る事でグラフで目で見てわかるので自然と食べ過ぎを抑えてる気がする(^^) 結果3か月で3キロ痩せていたのでこのアプリのお陰かな(^^)
Works but far from great
The app works but far from great 1. Font is making the app looks very bad and dated for international users 2. The app is kind of bundle of a commercial product as feature augmentation. It should not have adv in the first place. People won’t even pay that expensive price for a scale if it cannot sync to Apple health. Make sure your product positioning and not to annoy your customers 3. Error message and handling is poor. No way to know what went wrong when connection is failing

Disgraceful update
Was not a bad system clunky but ok. Until the latest update now everything is in Chinese and full of ads I would not recommend this to anyone now

アプリ内で登録出来ないので、Webから登録。 ここで1時間以上苦戦しました。改善を🙇🏻♂️。 体組成計に載る事が楽しみになりました。 活動量計・血圧計も購入、計測・記録が楽しみです。 コメントを入力出来る欄が有れば、星6です！ データをCSV変換・転送や保存が出来れば星10です！
Disappointed in the app
It’s very clunky and outdated interface. And it’s full of ads! After buying such an expensive scale I was expecting better quality. Tanita need to invest some of the big $$$ from their products into updating the app.
歩数がヘルスケアと連携出来ない
使いやすいですが、歩数がヘルスケアと連携出来ず手動で入力しなければいけないです。 そのためタニタは好きなのに他のメーカーの体組成計買えば良かったなと思ってしまいました。 ぜひ改善お願いします。

App & Instructions
So here I am years later. The app is unchanged and still sub-standard in my view. Aside from the app, the support materials are also not very helpful and difficult to follow. Hopefully you never need to re-connect your Bluetooth….. good lluck. Just bought the BC-402. The Planethealth (English version) is dissappointing. The user interface is very old style and data sharing with Apple Health user is limited. This app seems very old and just patched up over many years. It needs an overhaul. I’m new to Planethealth so I will try to use a bit more, but first experience is not to good. Now there years I am still struggling to get this app to pair with my iPhone. This app is among the WORST apps I have come across.
妊娠中のフラグが設定できるようにしてほしい
概ね問題なく5年以上使用してます。 妊娠に伴い体重増加中のため、平常時と同じ尺度で測られると気分が落ちるので、せめて妊娠中というフラグが立てられるようにしてほしいです。

......a lot of screens and messages are in Japanese. Not helpful for western world.
血圧数値
体重計の購入と同時に使用していますが、最高血圧を入力しようと一桁目を入れた瞬間、6桁ほど一気に入力され都度訂正しています。スマホの問題かと思いましたが、機種変更したあとも変わらずバグが出ています。早く修正して欲しいと思います。

風呂上がりに乗ればしっかりと計測してくれて、それもルーティンにやれるので継続出来て良いです。
Disappointing
As other have written this is a really basic app, you can’t change the weight metric from kg to st. There’s some basic stuff that this just doesn’t do and it’s not intuitive enough. Tanita are at the pricier end of the scales that could use this and I’d expect more than what this app delivers.
広告はやめてほしい
機器を使うためのアプリ広告入れるのはみたことない。機器の方でしっかり売り上げてこっちは広告なしにするべき

Don’t you even listen to your customers?
I see that 5 years ago, and 4 years ago, people were complaining that you measure in cm and kg and have no facility to change to ft/in and st/lb. entire countries use the latter and have no clue what TJ e former means without making complicated calculations. C’mon guys this is not acceptable — please get those changes in. Also I agree with others who say the instructions are unclear and it’s hard to make it work. I haven’t managed to get it to work properly yet, or interact properly with the phone. The instructions that come with fail to name the app properly; the Bluetooth connection doesn’t work. What a pain for such an expensive device. I will persevere but this is so enraging.

基本的にはOK、グラフは改善して欲しい
数年前は接続に難があったこともありましたが、最近は安定性があって良いと思います。 ただ、グラフに関しては要改善。 体重と筋肉量を同一グラフに載せる際に、メモリ幅が異なるのでとても見づらいのです。 私の場合は体重が5kg幅、筋力量が1.25kg幅になっております。 もちろん、単位が異なる体重と体脂肪率なんかでは気にする必要はないと思いますが、単位が同じ場合にはそこをどうにかした方が良いかと思います。 あるいは、縦軸ごとに幅や最大最小を変える機能でも良いです。

Do not buy a Tanita scale that uses this app
This app is useless which means the very expenses taninta scales that it links too are rendered useless. A total waste of money. The decelopers don’t respond to correspondence. Apple should remove this from the App Store. As can be seen by the other reviews I’m not alone.... Take it down!

アプリを開いた瞬間に体重がババン！と出るのが嫌すぎる。(勿論自分しか触らない人には便利だと思います) 子供達も触るのでアプリを開くのにパスコードロックをかけれる設定も選べたら良いなと思ってます。
Doesn’t push result to apple health
My biggest concern is that only a few metrics are uploaded to apple health. The BMI and bunch of others that are available in apple health aren’t recorded because the app isn’t sharing it. Please share all data that can be shared. Smaller concern is that the app interface is just a web view on the website that isn’t pretty at all. A nicer interface would help to understand we’re we at. Does the work though, and for free, thanks!
the app stopped working
With the last update you can no longer log the weight because it does not recognize the decimal point. It would also be useful if you could export the data to excel or a .csv file and if the other information collected in the app could be shared with apple health as it was before. An update was done that did not address did problem. I’m a loyal customer of your balance and this app has been of great help. Please fix it!!!!

Wonderful app!
I bought a Tanita scale (Ironman RD-545) which I love but I hate the app that goes with it (Healthy Edge mobile). It doesn’t pair at all and we can’t use it in Canada. The HealthPlanet app works beautifully, no problem at all pairing. The suggestion I would like to make is to be able to use pounds (lbs) and inches instead of just kilograms and centimeters. Also, the options to be able to print the graphs and to show more than 2 graphs at a time would also be welcome. Is it possible in a future update? Thank you so much!😊
Has potential but mostly v frustrating
When it works it's good and there is potential for it to be great - if only it was developed with usability in mind. Main frustration is that you can't change from KG to stones/lb in the app (even though you can on the scales). So the app effectively becomes useless as it won't recognise the data and wants to reset to KG every time you try to sync.

This app is helpful but can we please get HealthKit integration?
Health monitor
I purchased RD900 recently and found it very easy to collect my data via bluetooth between iphone 6 and RD900. The good thing is this app is in English language which is the main reason to buy it.
Low function for expensive scale
I switched to this scale from a Whitings/Nokia after they took away some of the functionality of their scale. This scale was much more expensive but so much more of a pain in the butt and the app makes it even worse.
Happy with the update
Overcame my previous problem by setting up a new account. I love this app.
Disappointed
I have spent a small fortune on these scales. I also have the Withings ones. These Tanita ones are very hard to use. The data from my Apple Watch or Fitness Pal app does not sync. So none of my data matches up for a true reading. I also can't get the app to show the weight in 'stone'. Personal preference as I hate 'KG'. I just want everything to link up so all the data is in the same place, like with my 'Withings' scales.
Needs work
Needs to have be able to switch between metric and imperial! Also needs a simplified style redesign and a quick English language double check. Positively, it does sync with Apple Health (which will show the data in imperial units) and connects and works very quickly with my Tanita scale. I really like the idea and the use, just needs a tiny bit of work.
Great app to compliment awesome scales
The app is fantastic and easy to use once you have done the registration and setup. The app is easy to use and pairs with the Tanita body composition monitor perfectly. I use it as a competitive cyclist wanting to track my fat, muscle and hydration but other members of my family also use it for general health and weight loss tracking. My partner also uses the app with her activity monitor and is able to track and record calories and distance. Great app with good graph and long term tracking function. Recommend
Poor design
This app is not intuitive at all and it doesn’t provide even the most basic user options, like choosing between imperial and metric measurements. It disconnects quite often from the BCM and you have to re-pair it. At least it shares data with iHealth and Apple makes the weight conversion for you. Too bad Tanita has been left out of the loop by all the other tracking apps like LoseIt and so forth. We users have been left with this crappy app as the ONLY option to communicate with the BCM scale!
Seems pretty good but has bugs
Seems to work ok. It does store previous data outside of the charts so not sure what other review refers to. However, muscle quality doesn't seem to work and there's no physique score.
Great hardware but very mediocre apps
The apps is good for display the results other than that there isnt anything to do. You cant do change settings on the apps like you can do manually on the device. The link to Healthkit is very minimal (only Body Fat % and Weight). There is no comparison chat/table in app like others. In short, this is app is really poor. Such as shame, the scale is great in lots of measurement. I hope they outsource the app development outside of Japan as well as the manual. It is slightly confusing.
Minor bugs otherwise Good
Needs UX/UI work but does the job. Muscle score and muscle quality fields aren't working.
Stopped working
The app used to work flawlessly. When I switched from iPhone 6s Plus to iPhone X, it stopped working. When I try to activate the bathroom scale RD-901 from the app it simply does not turn on anymore. I unpaired the device, removes batteries from it, deleted and downloaded the app again, tried paring the device again. Yesterday when I did this the app recognized the device. This morning the scale was not working again. I tried all of the above all over again and it didn’t help this time. Like another reviewer is saying the “OK” button on the “Add Device” screen is not responding. Without a working app this bathroom scale is not worth the price. I’m very frustrated.
Good - could be great
I agree with other posters. Please add ability to convert to imperial measurements so I don’t have to do it manually. Also, link to Apple Health so I can have all my data in one place.
Needs conversion switch
There should be a switch to switch to lbs from kg, inches from cm and so on. It could be really as simple a a switch in settings. If this feature was there this would be a 5 star. Right now as is does not work very easily since I have to convert my measurements into kg and such
Good but could be better
Let's start with the positive things about this app, Easy to pair with your Tanita scales and display of info is clear, good to have a graph to keep an eye on measurement trends. Now for the negative things, Adverts in app, we pay enough for the scales, surely we should be able to get rid of the ads like on the web version. App doesn't link to other health apps, like Apple Health, MyFitness pal etc. This could be a fantastic app if the above items were addressed, as it is, it's only worth 3⭐️
