So nice
Totally adapted to my learning style; I couldn’t recommend enough to learn ASL w/ family!!
Lousy app
Not good place to learn from people on Ziggy because they teach a lot of errors signs and advantage $$$… also spread misinformation. I suggest people not to learn from those people on Ziggy…
I LOVEEE and i watch (@jaredhuseby1706) on tiktok (my acc is @riribftrj4e
I LOVE THIS APP SO MUCH BUT I DONT WANA PAY
!
Why do I have to pay for a free trial and not get asl for free?
paying
i was told i could use this app without paying and i had to pay right after it gave me a tiny a lesson
Love it!
Enjoyable and easy to use. I’ve never tried to learn ASL before, the lessons are great so far
ASL Should Be Deaf-Led, Not Paywalled
As a Deaf person, I’m disappointed that Ziggy is not Deaf-managed or Deaf-led. The Deaf Community has been teaching and sharing ASL for free for years, through Deaf educators and creators. Charging a subscription to learn sign language is a NO for me. ASL is a language and an important part of Deaf culture—not simply something to package behind a paywall. I strongly encourage people to support Deaf-led ASL resources and Deaf educators instead. Deaf people should have a central voice in how our language and culture are taught.
Love this!! But needs a fix
I love this app. I’m learning sign language to potentially go to college for interpreting, and I love the learning structure and ASL dictionary of signs! One issue I noticed, however, is that when you are given the chance to record a sign with your own camera to compare with the clip they have, it doesn’t put them side by side. It lets you film the video, but doesn’t put them side by side when you end the recording. The screen says, “Does it match?” But the area which appears to be designated for your video is just black. Other than this, I love learning from here, and I’m excited to become more fluent!
Euh
I am not wanting to spend 60$ it’s a good app but not for money
.
Def not recommended tries and makes you pay..
Duolingo for ASL, but better
Ziggy ASL feels like a better version of Duolingo, but built specifically for learning sign language. It’s simple, engaging, and makes practicing ASL feel easy to stick with. The lessons are clear, the app is really well designed, and the overall experience feels much more natural for learning a visual language. Easily one of the best ASL learning apps I’ve tried.
Dang they don’t give you a choice of payment. It’s only $50 year
That is not smart because if you’re 12 and you’re trying to learn sign language and your parents can’t pay that how are you gonna learn they don’t even give you a choice. It’s just you learn a couple things that are basic and then they hit you with the money $50 yearly
Fun and Frustrating
I love the app it is just frustrating because it will not scroll down to select the correct answers. Other than that I don’t really have any other issues.
idk
im sure its a decent app, but i didnt know you HAD to pay to use it
My favorite ASL app
I really like this, it makes learning ASL feel simple and enjoyable instead of overwhelming. The lessons are easy to follow, and i love being able to practice at my own pace . This is a great app!
Scam investment
The app randomly logged me out and doesn’t give an option to log back in. The only way i can get back into my account is by repurchasing however the transaction in my bank already went through. I was halfway through this course and then it got cancelled. I’m now getting unknown charges. Don’t risk spending your money
Picture
So I am on iphne se I am doing the trail thing but it’s not letting me findh the trail case I get to the outher ones
so sad
you have to pay for it it’s not free so i can’t use it but it seems good
Amazing
I have used other ASL apps before and gotten bored. This one is great!
Not very good
I tried it, I got ONE lesson done then it shoved a “free trial!” At me and you can’t get out of it. It’s either don’t use the app or pay to learn something?
Prompts
This is a good interactive but the last answer on the video question is covered by “choose the pair “ …
Fun and easy to learn!
I’ve always wanted to learn sign language and I finally found an app that actually teaches me and makes it fun! I love the quizzes. They make it easier for me to learn. 100% recommend if you have been wanting to learn!
Some of them are not correct signs
Do not download this app lol. Some of the signs are absolutely incorrect. And I notice that majority of them are hearing people. Only 1-2 are Deaf and they are even in the app that much. ASL bloom is better, cheaper and founded by DEAF people. This is a money grab app.
Issue with scrolling
My only issue with the app is difficulty scrolling. It doesn’t seem to want to scroll down which gets frustrating
Best app
I tried multiple apps and I was never committed, but this app made me committed. I’m learning ASL to teach my daughter because I think it’s a good language to learn and he is amazing at it because I’m teaching her through this app. My daughter is one.
Please
The creator of this app is super good in his videos so I wanted to try this out, but then I had to pay for it?? like why do you have to pay for it? Please make a version that you don’t have to pay for.(love his videos)
Issues
On the first lesson it doesnt allow me to scroll so i cant complete it. Also, doesnt evaluate any prior knowledge. Issue still exists
Support System
Great app! App support is amazing too! It seems they are on top of it, which is much appreciated! Definitely a different approach than other ASL apps I have tried, but in the best way!
Broken
Signed in and completed my first lesson not even three minutes in it was telling me to buy the membership and it wouldn’t let me go onto the next lesson unless I bought it because there was no x this would be amazing if it worked
Good app- struggle scrolling
When I opened the app to start my first lesson, the answer selection areas would not scroll down to allow me to select the correct answer, its frustrating but its my only complaint, otherwise Ziggy is an awesome app and if this problem can be resolved I’d love to continue learning from it!
LOVE THIS!
Love this creator and his content- finally someone willing to teach ASL the correct way!
Subscription
App was good but you can only use it you pay for a subscription
Learning asl
Thank you so much for creating an app for all of us signers . I’m so happy to see you signing in song each day and now we can learn too!
This app sucks
This is horrible app
