Every time I try to open the app, it automatically closes. I always thought it’s a great app, but this has happened before, not sure why is happening, but it is happened again. Please fix app. Thank you!!
Buying
Okay, i just got this app wanting to learn sign language so i could communicate with more people. But you have to be kidding me, they give you three sections to start with and then you either have to download or buy the other sections. I know you have to make money if you make an app, but be so for real. Making someone pay after not that many videos? Plus, this is not interactive in any way, you’re just watching videos.

I am a sign language interpreter, and this is the app I tell people to use if they are interested in learning asl. The user interface is so easy to navigate and I love the Deaf signers.
Preventing people from learning properly😡
I’m supposed to be volunteering at a Deaf camp next year, and I was really hoping that this app could help. Instead, I have to buy all the signs that are actually useful. The only free ones are basic signs, nothing for having a conversation with. Why make us pay for free information? What do you accomplish, preventing people from learning about something they like? I’m so damn disappointed, I thought I would finally find an app that was all free, but no. You people really seem to like making money off of free information that HELPS people with Deaf families and friends.
Decent app for beginners
I’m not going to lie I was a little disappointed, but I it’s pretty good for beginners that want to learn. Was a perfect Jump start into my learning!
Restore purchase
Had the app for years, got a new phone under the same Apple ID and purchase won’t restore. Not paying over and over again for the content that I have already paid for once.
Can’t Purchase
I love the basic phrases of this app, but I want to be able to have full access to all the bundles. I can’t purchase any of the bundles. I’ve emailed already and have gotten no response. If I was able to purchase the bundles, then I would give it 5 stars.
🥳luv it learn it
I love this app it quite comprehensive and easy to understand features a slow button which slows down the motions making it easier to grasp. I along with my three children use this app everyday. Works best when learning with others, or when using what you’ve learned to communicate daily.
Waste of money No support
Bought the entire set of packs a few years ago when I was learning ASL. They updated the app and lost it all. Support never responds or actually gave my money back. Save yourself the time and money…stay away from this app. Rip off!!!! It was supposed to be for life. The life of what? Ridiculous!

Helpful but expensive
10$ is kind of a ripoff for the amount of information that is provided. There are free lessons, vocabulary quizzes as well as history and grammar online that can give you a much better understanding of ASL
Found one wrong sign...
I liked this app for some time, but I just found an error in it, and that's enough to make me not trust it as a learning resource. An attractive woman (perhaps chosen for her attractiveness rather than for any particular experience with ASL) signs SIGN backwards, her front finger going down while her rear finger comes up. This motion comes more naturally to non-deaf people than does the correct motion of the front finger coming up while the rear finger goes down, which leads me to believe that this app was made by non-native signers who don't know the language as well as an instructor should. So, kind of sadly, this largely appealing app has now lost its right to reside on my phone. Lingvano is my favorite iPhone ASL resource; just wish it cost less, but I'm sure that won't be a problem for everybody, so there's my personal recommendation, fwiw...

Signs are not accurate. Like hungry and hot. Very basic but not ASL
Good but could be better
I’ve learned a lot. $10 isn’t much for help learning a new language. Demonstrations are well done. Found this app recommended by an national ASL organization so I got it to use. Really cool that the developers are deaf. My biggest struggle is they use multiple signs for the same word. My new deaf friend tells me some of them are old signs and don’t use those use the new signs. Would be nice to have consistency. A religious category would be amazing. I have a hard time with the slow motion feature. You have to start video then hit Turtle each time if you replay video it goes back to full speed even though the Turtle it still highlighted. Also the option for a more flash card style review would be very helpful! Keep working on improvements and it can be amazing.
Previous downloads unavailable
I downloaded this app on my previous phone and purchased the bundle, which was great. I learned so much so fast and was so pleased with the app. However, when I got a new phone and downloaded the app, I tried to reinstall the pack as I had previously purchased it, but it wouldn’t let me. I contacted the developers but they said I should make sure my ID is correct. It is, but I still can’t get my previous purchases back??
It’s not convenient to use
I want to love this app so much but it’s very hard to. It makes me tap replay after every single video. It seems like such a small thing but after every 2 second video, it becomes annoying. A lot of signs are not presented clearly either. For example, “like”: do the thumb and the middle finger touch? Can’t see it because it isn’t shown.

I’ve just downloaded this app inspired to learn ASL. Considering the “purchase pack” option included full access, i went ahead and purchased as mentioned price of $9.99 usd. It ended up charging me $17.13usd!! How ridiculous!! Developers would you mind explaining why i was over charged?! Users beware of pricing. Rating 4/5

All you can learn is your abc’s and how to count to ten before they make you pay for it. It is not worth it!

There is a glitch sometimes, but I noticed that if I reinstall this purchase from apple store, it works again.

I learned basic things on here like ABCs, numbers, and the colors of the rainbow. I didn’t use this app for a year and I want to learn more now but it keeps kicking me out of the app. My wifi is good the app doesn’t need to be updated. I bought something from the app ($10) to learn more a while ago so I would like to keep using this app. Why isn’t it working please help me thank you

Good for learning, and you can watch each video and infinite number of times, and can also play in turtle mode. I invested the money for full version and definitely don't regret it. However, could use a sports or hobby category, as well as music

It was awesome and I was thoroughly enjoying it, but now it will not open. Full updated, iPad has been reset, I’ve logged in and out, and yet nothing..
Pretty Cool
This app is great for learning, and I support that extra packages cost more money. However if you are really looking to memorize your signs then try following along with Bill Vicars' lessons on YouTube. Getting the extra help from a person who is very educated on the culture and ethics of the language is great. This app is mostly just for the basics.
Great but.....
Great app. Easy to follow. One bad thing: Packages that I purchase do not stay on the main page. When I exit the app and go back in, the package is gone and I have to go and purchase it again each time. Very frustrating.

Great app, please fix the crashes
Would give 5 stars if not for the constant crashes. Can no longer open app without it shutting down after a few seconds. Re-installing doesn't help. Clearly many more bug fixes needed in future. Content is wonderful. Just wish app would work.

As a reference this is good, but the grammar/syntax is weird on a bunch of these. More English than ASL. Canadians beware. Very American.

never seen an app like this, very well designed teaching method although it doesn't look the best. small request, i would love the ability to listen to music and learn asl, so can you guys allow the our own music to play while the instructing videos are? other than that the app is great, use it almost every day!
