Im in love with all my system tu this app is the best
Not user friendly
After spending tens of thousands of dollars I expected to receive a tutorial at the very least on what we should watch for and to explain the software. YouTube was useless and only talked about hardware comparatives and how great Sol Ark is. They really should care more about their customer base and getting information to them versus trying to just always upsell their services across different platforms.
Better but glitchy
Logs out by itself too often and no provision to log in w/biometrics . Please update this. I like some of the updated additions, can we get a widget with Batt% / Solar ? Overall, the better look and much more ability to adjust settings and view the whole picture of your solar system, but still need to work out some of the glitches the load disappeared completely but was still visible on the old app. I don’t like how when you press to activate a drop down menu it gives you an erase x .
Better but still needs work
App is better than first version, looks much cooler. But it’s still hiccups! It’s been quite frustrating that I just got this system, seems to work okay, then a week later it glitches. I think what bothers me is that it’s more than once, and that’s why I can only give it two stars. Worked excellent and it was awesome when I installed CTs for more accurate readings, and a week later guess what? I get some error alerts that it failed to fetch data. Come on solark!!!
More accurate but missing some features
Unless I just can’t figure it out it would be nice to pull up the individual inverter input outputs and such like you can on the old app

I am so happy you guys support this app and it actually works. Too many companies show an app to get the sale and once everyone buys the product they don’t support it or update it. This one is actually amazing and I use it every day. Even the graphics are great!! Thank you!!
Wont log you in
Won’t take my existing acct info that I know works. Requires a new pw and a security code to your email and then still will not log me in. Dumb and useless. Update: developer replied said there was a known bug that was fixed. Still same problem. Even if they ever fix this, it is still stupid software: you required to ask for a confirmation code which when you finally get it from your email, you only have 30 seconds total to enter the code and your password and repeat your password. If you make a typo mistake, you can’t see your passwords so you can’t get anything right this is so dumb for this little app
Array monitoring
The app does not show me if either of my arrays have blown a fuse or not. The old app does.
Where are all features?
This app needs lot of improvements. Options, buttons and features are located is counterintuitive location. All detailled analytic data disappeared from previous version. Graph gets frozen to the time. Next day, the visual is outdated. Can't get a nice overall view of current inverter data/status in an adaptative ipad fullscreen view.
Current data display out of date
The sun set 30 minutes ago and the app shows the kw input data from an hour ago. The app is super useful when it accurately reports power flow.

Pretty much the same info, but the graphics are much better.
Better, but still requires work
Much improved over v1, but still a few areas could use improvement: - notifications when grid is offline and battery kicks in - notifications when battery is low - constantly requesting login every couple of days. - notifications of errors - do not need a large drawing of a house that cannot be removed - ability to choose colors on graphs. Most important import and export are too dark and similar. - it is very easily to trigger editing mode when trying to scroll through the data. Can we turn that off? - download detailed power consumption data to compare with utility and find if a solar panel is not behaving well. For example, we input size of array and calculate peak power for the day and display that as percentage of array performance.
Info only
Not much you can control or change from the consumer app. Can't see any diagnostics on whether an array is working. Just basic charge and usage stats in a pretty graphic.
Use 10x Day
Absolutely love the mysolark app and online features. Use a LOT, especially to monitor my system during cloudy or rainy weather patterns.
Security
They’ve set up security now on my inverter but I make any changes because they set the wrong password even though it tells you what the password should be and where to find it. It doesn’t work. I’m locked out of making changes except at the inverter itself. It would be nice if changes like this were e-mailed to users ahead of time vs making changes and then letting us find out and can’t make the changes we need now without support.
Refined Look
Works and looks great. Only issue I’m having is on my iPhone I have to re log in every couple of days. PIA
Keeps Logging Me Out
Great UX and capabilities ruined by a frustratingly frequent bug where I open the app and find I’m logged out. No option for biometric login as far as I can tell, so that means I need to go to my password vault and dig up the credentials. This happens every 1-2 weeks. Team, please fix this (or at least make things modern and allow biometric authentication) so the rest of the app isn’t dragged down. UPDATE: this now happens roughly every 5-7 days. Team, FIX YOUR APPLICATION please.
Still buggy
The new app, even after the latest update a day ago, did not get the correct time setting for the weather info even though the local time for the site is correct. Seems like something that should have been detected in QA testing.

Better design and easier to understand than the other one.

Much better than the old app but come on !!!! Still no notifications!!! Is that hard?? I need to know when we lost power from the grid, is an important function.

Nice app, but wicked slow response time. I need to see what’s happening with the solar NOW, not yesterday!

Do not send alerts of energy failures; has to log in frequently in stead of automatic log in

Had my two 15K’s now for almost 2 years with no issues , and every time I needed help with programming their service department did it all remotely- highly recommend
Flash but not great
Well it is a flashier interface than the V1. Still not live realtime data. They took away the equipment section where you can see voltage instead of SOC which is needed when you are running a open-loop.

Way better than V1
I’ve been using the MySolArk V2 app daily and it’s a huge improvement over the previous version. The navigation is much cleaner and more intuitive, which makes it way easier to quickly find what I need without digging through menus. One of the biggest benefits for me is how simple it is to manage Time of Use settings. I can easily adjust when I want to pull from the grid vs. battery, and actually optimize my system instead of just set-it-and-forget-it. Overall, it just feels faster, more user-friendly, and way more practical for real everyday use.
