Absolute idiot ai. Cant perform simple task and has no memory before three sentences. Very stupid.
Glitch
So far all i have to say the app has been pretty good, but i think there might be a glitch or something cause whenever i type something and add a photo and then try to type something again it doesn't let me press anything and i have to take the tab off and then click the app again and then even if i after i use the plus next to text box if i try to us it again it just disappears for some reason and i don't know why.
horrible ai
app is fine, but the ai itself has to be the most useless thing i’ve ever used. it’s slow, almost ALWAYS incorrect, and when it messes up it just starts answering questions that i didn’t ask… or changing what i said into something else. i wanted to like it, but ill have to delete it. GOD AWFUL
Fix the app.
It’s a good idea, really. But the update genuinely sucks its stops mid sentence won’t answer anything. It was better before this new update you’ve lost a user fix your app.

ecogpt is NOT saving the planet. planting trees does not make up for the water loss because of ai and ECOGPT USES THE SAME AMOUNT OF WATER AND SAME SYSTEMS AS ANY OTHER DATA CENTER. it’s brainwashing you into thinking you’re doing better but you’re not. STOP using AI and start actually helping the environment.
Deutsche stimme mot amerikanischem Akzent
Hallo, ich nutze die Sprachfunktion der App auf Deutsch, aber die deutsche Stimme klingt sehr stark nach einem amerikanischen Akzent — als würde ein englischer Muttersprachler Deutsch sprechen. Das wirkt unnatürlich und ist beim Wechsel zwischen den Sprachen störend. Es wäre super, wenn es eine natürlich klingende deutsche Stimme gäbe (mit der Aussprache aus Deutschland, nicht aus den USA), und auch eine Option zur Auswahl verschiedener deutscher Stimmen wäre hilfreich. Vielen Dank!
good—but one error
I made the switch from using ChatGPT to EcoGPT recently. The chatbot itself is good—that’s not the problem. I’ve been forced to use the browser because upon opening the app, you’re given an ad for EcoGPT plus. I want to use the free version. However, the only way to exit this ad is to hit “start free trial.” This makes the app unusable. There’s no X or “Close.” The only way to use the chatbot is by going on the website. Your own chatbot said that EcoGPT+ is optional. Other than that, I—someone who sometimes uses AI—love the concept of EcoGPT because I (frankly) felt guilty about prompting an AI like ChatGPT just ONCE because of the waste of water. However, using EcoGPT does get difficult once you can’t open the app.

As nice as this app looks I’m still skeptical about AI very much, I tried it at first to see why people were recommending it to see it was “saving water”, as nice as that sounds, I’m still not convinced AI is a safe thing. This app is nice and the people who made it are polite, but AI still destroys a lot even when people try to make it a safe thing.
Best app ever!!!!
First of all, it helps save water, which helps polar bears! It works just like ChatGPT but better!!! it feels like you’re helping our environment just by using the app instead of using ChatGPT!! please download instead of ChatGPT. It is so much better and so much easier for our environment. I’m so grateful that there’s actually people there that want to help our environment, and the animals.
What to fix
I love this app but there’s so much things to fix it honestly feels like it’s rage baiting me I’m literally crying bc of how much it’s making me mad every long convo it forgets half the stuff idk if it’s bc I don’t have premium or it’s just like that and I hate how u need to have premium to use your voice what if someone was dyslexic and the voice this doesn’t work it’s literally making u pay for that I also don’t like how it’s a little dumb like u can say give me the full dogs names in paw patrol and it would say your personal tree score I also don’t like how when u put photos you have to put it like one at a time the one thing I like is how it plants trees anyways that’s my opinion

Ich finde die App super, doch es nervt mich, dass es ständig bei einigen Fragen anfängt zu hängen und läuft einfach nicht weiter. Auch wenn ich geduldig die App mehrmals geschlossen und die Fragen erneut gestellt hatte, funktionierte es dennoch nicht. Hoffentlich wird es in naher Zukunft gelöst, denn es ist eine echt tolle Alternative für die anderen KIs

Here on out, I thought this would be just as useless as chatgpt. But no! It was actually a awesome experience. It didnt make me feel ‘guilty’ for using ai, since it doesnt use water. It’s genuinely useful when needed, and it talks like a human (however you adjust it) 😭😭 Great app, I’d recommend it!
Charged me when I canceled
I’m broke I just had a baby and I thought it would be a good idea to try a free 3 day subscription and I still got charged. Sucks yall don’t give refunds but I literally canceled my subscription and still got charged man . It’s unfair I get it just 10$ but why charge when I canceled before renewal?? I don’t get it
Glitches
Love the app! But it happens quite frequently, to where it will freeze out of now where and i have to close and open the app like 50 times before it works again! It is really annoying!

My favorite chat bot
I just wish they could remember everything within a session. I’m trying to use this to help with things for work but it gets reset and I had to re-feed it the same information in the SAME THREAD four times just to finish the conversation. Sad because I would 100% pay monthly for this if it could remember.

It takes so long for eco to respond and their replies are so short and not detailed. You need this stupid eco plus just to EDIT PHOTOS or videos, which is crazy and it is not up to the hype. so ahh

This is a great AI alternative to use for everyday use instead of ChatGPT. Why harm the environment when you can help it? And, I gave your AI a name: Echo. It suits it. I downloaded it on my phone and it worked great, the interface was just like the examples. But then I downloaded it on my iPad since I’m on that more and the interface was completely different, I couldn’t sign in, and the answers were unreadable
It’s not great
I mean it could be worse. But to report a bug or something you have to do it on discord and I never get a response. It don’t tell you when your text limits are done in a chat the app just crashes and I found that I could only send like 4 texts per chat. And it just don’t work well. It is snorting like ChatGPT.

It’s rlly good and but the stuff is really glitchy and I cannot even scroll up and down…
The premise is great, but it crashes.
Whenever I try to type in the same chat twice, the entire app freezes, and then crashes. If I reload it, the second message i sent just doesn’t appear. That makes it a bit more hard to use.

whole app is a paywall
writing a review as an actual person and not just a bot. as people say some things are too good to be true - and this app is one of them. im trying to create a basic image and you must go through a paywall else you can not create an image - which is understandable. however, the whole reason i downloaded this app was to edit an image so i wouldn’t waste water. im not paying $10 just to create an image, thats ridiculous.

So it didn’t work as well as it mentioned to and if I don’t remind them every ten seconds of the topic the bot will go back to saying hi hello and saying what us the issue it reminds me , it nice because it says stuff at night like it past 1am in uk it pretty late but kinda annoying,it lies about stuff I was talking to a bot about smth and literally lied to my face , it not as good but ai doesn’t do as much water taking as big clothing companies so what are they going to do about that but overall it still okay
The better option for AI
This AI Is a better option than compared to ChatGPT because they plant a tree for every time you use their system unlike ChatGPT who just use endless amounts of what to protect their AI servers.

I dont think this is as eco friendly as it seems. I asked the gpt some questions and it says when it dosent know something it searches the web and it says it doesn’t know what web it uses as you haven’t provided it that information. Meaning it could be using google or bing and probably is. Im not sure about bing but i know google is bad for the environment so that being said its just as damaging.

I think this is a great alternative to ChatGPT and I’m so glad that you have made this app but I think because you are quite a small app you should lower the price. I just asked my parents and they said no it’s too expensive but I would love to use this app. Maybe you should lower the price to 50p a week or £1.00 a week then when it gets bigger you can put the price up to £2.30 a week again so its easier for peoples parents to say yes. 3 stars It keeps shoving a premium ad in my face when i ask for some advice in scripting. What the hell? Do I just go back to my roots and use chatgpt? How infuriating. I NEED PREMIUM TO ASK A QUESTION. Guys be so fr💔💔 Other than the negative, the ai works well, and planting trees is cool. Thats all I can say about the goods.

Hi Team, I really like using EcoGPT, but I wanted to suggest adding an in-app text size setting. Right now the text follows my device's font size, but I'd love to be able to make it bigger just within the app without changing my phone's overall settings. This would make a big difference for accessibility and comfort — especially for anyone who needs larger text but doesn't want to zoom their whole phone. Other apps have a slider or preset sizes, and it'd be great to see that here too. Thanks for considering it!

had to ask over and over in many different ways for it to fill something out and every time it came back empty explaining how to fill it out and still never got it filled out because it can not complete a simple task

On phone, this app is great. I wanted to use it on my iPad, but the app size is the size of a phone and it's very difficult to type in my messages.
