Best ad
The Hand drawn ad convinced me all the budget was in the game itself and it was worth the try this game is actually really fun and engaging and I was originally put off by auto battlers before this but I don’t think I will be going forward . Than you for working so hard on this game! The sound track bops and the pixel art is so cute and well made so glad I took a chance ty for not using ai ads instead of hand drawn art ♥️☺️

これを機に元祖Backpack Heroをやろうと思います。 長い目で見れば安くオンライン接続の長ったらしいロードも挟まることもない、ランキング、クランとか言う雑味もないし追加課金もないので。 キャラクターの外見だけふやして職種は3種しかない。 それとバッグパックの容量×48が課金でしか拡張できず課金優遇してるんで良くないかな。Backpack Heroのゲーム本体の値段とバッグパックの拡張の値段が600円差なので笑えるよ、しかもバッグの拡張は職ごとに課金があるからね。
Decent but Incessant
Fun WHEN you actually get to do the gameplay promised in the ads, but game forces you to engage far too much with clans, gacha, PvP, pets, and a dozen other flavors of nonsense just to do the part that you signed up for and want. Expect to hit a wall within about 2-4 days of casual play where almost all progress grinds to a halt, and no amount of luck or strategy lets you bypass the sheer stat bloat of the enemies you're facing.

Since the most recent update I haven’t been able to challenge chapters I don’t know what’s up with that? Specifically acrobat
Great game
It is a great game and I am having a lot of fun with it. I have, however, encountered rather annoying bug anytime I watch an ad and come back to the game. The audio becomes distorted and delayed, and the only fix I found is restarting the entire game, which is annoying as I only have three continues.

I used to love this game, but lately after the last update the two in one ads that you get don’t have a close button, so you’re stuck and have to exit the game and watch the ad again. Dark UX disguised as a bug. It looks like they fixed the bug so ads are working again. The developers are responsive so they get my approval. Edit. 2 days later the ads are broken again Edit: looks like they work again but for how long?

If you're looking for an auto battler, you will be extremely happy to find this game. It's got some unique fusion mechanics as well as a short and easy to understand tutorial on how it all works. Its fun and feels rewarding without feeling like there's too much to do all at once and does a good job at making you think of ways to arrange your items in special ways to continue upgrading and crafting new ones! 5/5!
Scam pretending to be good
Albeit, I did have fun. It's an idle game where you pick and choose different items and merge them or make your guy really strong for 12 rounds or so. The bigger issue is that if you gain a new character, which is fairly late in the game, EVERYTHING else carries over EXCEPT your inventory expansion slots. I had already spent 10 dollars to get the biggest one, because I thought it would carry over. Not only does it NOT carry over to the next character, you have to PAY ANOTHER 10 DOLLARS TO USE THE BIGGEST INVENTORY. The other inventory expansions cost in game currency, and that's fine and dandy but considering I spent money on this game I figured it would let me keep using it. Anyways, wish I could rate lower, not a bad game if you don't spend money, out of sheer respect for myself I will no longer frequent this game and am uninstalling as I type this.

Game is actually pretty good not big on mobile games if that says much great pastime instead of doom scrolling
Stealthy Ads Galore
Ads are stealthily built into the game - what looks like a feature will immediately bring you into an unstoppable 60s ad. If there was a clear way to cancel the ad I would understand - but you can’t and you have to sit through it. While trying to learn about how to play the game, I was fooled into watching ads so I just uninstalled the app. Perhaps the gameplay would’ve been fun but the way ads were implemented was just not user friendly whatsoever. I suggest allowing users to confirm an action that triggers an ad before forcing them directly into watching it without an easy way out.
Great game! But,
It’s a great game and it’s nice to have some puzzle rpg games but it sucks that I get a character from the wheel only for it to tell me I have to spend $30 to put it on for a character I don’t have like cmon you told me I got all these movesets but hit me with a paywall to use something I earned?

Intro screen
I just feel like the half nude women on the start up are unnecessary, the game is great, no need for gooner bait, makes me feel weird playing it when the game is fine without it
App Update Glitch
Keeps telling me there’s a new update in the App Store, but when I go to the update section, there are no updates. Deleted and redownloaded, same issue. Game is unplayable.
Notifications For Ad Rewards
Too tedious to see what rewards I can claim without watching ads I have to click through each individual event to see if there’s anything new to claim every time I do one thing. It’s annoying. Fix that and I’ll fix my review.
NO AI WOOO
This is my first time ever writing a review. This game is genuinely so well made. The gameplay loop is constantly fresh and so fun. I had tried a similar game but after a while realized it heavily utilized AI art. Very disappointed especially with the creators of that game claiming they made it…yikes. Anyways, very happy to say that’s not the case with this game! The style is very cute and compliments the well made music as well, the animations also surprised me with how well they were made. Overall a very solid game!
Latest patch broke the game
Cannot launch the game and stuck in a loop to update the game when the game is updated.
Potential to be great
Pros: really fun gameplay loop, fun to try different combos, plenty of unlocks Cons: 1. F2P wall 2. Not optimized very well. I think there should be an option to remove animations or at least make them less intensive 3. Inability to replay previous levels. In a game where unlocks drive most of the growth, there should be opportunities to try new characters and unlock new weapons without the risk of failing your run

8月16日に始めログインしようと思ったらなぜかチュートリアルが始まりそういう仕様かと思ったら自分のアカウントが消えてまた新しいアカウントになってなんだこれ？という状況になってしまいました連携はしていないのですがそれだけでアカウントが消え去ってしまうのはおかしすぎるので星2とさせてもらいましたこれから始める人には絶対アカウント連携をお勧めします幸いこのゲームは結構楽しいし課金しなくてもかなりスムーズに進むし負けた時に何の装備や構成にした方がいいなど指摘がくるのでかなりおすすめのゲームです元あったアカウントのサーバーを探しますのでこれで失礼させていただきます
Its addictive but...
Extremely fun with a wide select of heros but the issue you're forced to pay if you want any fun with it. If you want pretty standard stuff like 2x battle speed and one extra life each raid along with other goodies you have yourself a $10 price tag. Thats not all! The only way to have a backpack that actually gives you a chance in this difficult game is a 5$ purchase. IT IS SEPARATE FOR EACH CLASS SO ITS $15 TOTAL. $25 bucks to actually play the game. Only to realize that majority of hero's is $30. Absurd prices.
Nice, but…
So, i’m casually grinding in the hero dungeon, yeah? I use an ad to speed it up a bit, but after it’s done, the audio gets all weird. The sound effects play three times in a row for some reason. Devs, please fix your game.

Overgeared Hero hits a particular genre of games that are not available on the App Store, but squanders its potential for small boosts such as inventory space. If you change your revenue strategy and improve gameplay will be a massive improvement. Music and graphics is great, and the UI needs a little quality of life improvements. Overall it’s a great game but lacks enough motivation to make the best game over profit.
Don’t get ripped in by the ad
Tried out the tutorial, immediately get sent to the main screen with an energy meter that fills over time and in-app purchases. Shame that it’s a blatant cash grab, was such a cute ad that I decided to give it a try.
Beach event killed my enthusiasm
Honestly, it’s got good gameplay until you hit the typical progression wall. But up to that point the monster types, tactics and item fusions make for some good fun. Then there’s the event difficulty. The fixed stats and gear SHOULD make for a good puzzle, but the first three stages were so hard that my frustration well exceeded the little satisfaction I felt after beating them and now I don’t even have a desire to continue through the rest. And I’m a completionist! I never knew a seasonal event could kill the rest of a game for me, but yeah. Today I opened it just to log in, didn’t even do all my dailies. Tomorrow? Maybe less :/

Айфон 15. Не заходит в игру, выдает ошибку. Пробовал через мобильный, через вифи, с впн и без него. Пытался раздать с другого устройства, ничего не помогло
Phenomenal Mobile Game
I absolutely love this game and the community of people on it. I hope it gains and keeps popularity and continues to grow! My only gripe is that “Spikes” needs to be nerfed. If my combat power is over 1 Million there’s no reason, under any circumstance, that I should lose in arena to someone with 200K combat power. That’s how busted Spikes is.
Fun game suffers from over-monetization
Game has a really nice premise, and fun gameplay. My only issues with the game is it is completely over monetize the game. They want to charge you for just about everything and run so many events that also have battle passes it’s a bit ridiculous and will be the reason the game will suffer low player base they shove pop ups and deals down your throat like a computer virus. I really wish games would stop all these battle passes, events with there own passes I kid you not the game has at least 10 different passes you can get it’s a bit ridiculous.
Impeachment for clan leaders!
Please allow members of a clan to impeach leaders who are inactive after 7 days. So many people play this game make a clan and then never get back on and the members would like to continue the clan. I will give a 5 star review when this is fixed thank you!
Fun and cute game
I was scrolling on Instagram and saw an ad that was poorly drawn on purpose and that honestly made me download it and it’s very fun actually 😂 Even though I paid for bigger backpack, I do think for free to play players, expanding the bag a bit for them would we reasonable and helpful but other than that, I’m having a blast, great marketing guys 😂❤️

Very charming game with a pretty good gameplay loop. Players should be aware that outside of gameplay, Overgeared Heroes does almost nothing differently from many other similar mobile games. The game can also be too difficult if you're not spending money. This could be a five-star game if it were more player-friendly.

Can’t have max backpack without spending 10 dollars PER CLASS that’s 30$ alone for a base mechanic if you wanna keep up with the server and have a chance to win an event you better be buying no ads and the monthly pass on top of that they continue to add higher level better people to your server and events to ENSURE you can’t win or be a top player can’t believe I feel for another one of these slop games just here to take money.
Loads of potential (However,)
Gameplay is very satisfying and genuinely addicting . (POWERCREEP AND PAYWALL ARE KINDA MASSIVE) HOWEVER, I find a massive issue is the rapid difficulty spike and the resource starvation that comes with that. Initially all bosses and levels feel beatable with just some good RNG and better strategy that you learn as you try what works for the stage. This quickly falls apart into later stages where it feels like you have 1 of 2 options to progress. most bosses feature different mechanics which require specific solutions (debuff removal, DOT, etc) .what intially felt like a unique way to keep the levels from feeling the same quickly felt like a barrier that can’t be overcome without the specific hero’s or pets needed for the level. The game became less about skill and planning / resource management, and more into pure stat checking because your gear your invested in isn’t suited for the boss you’re stuck on. It’s a shame but I feel like with balance changes this could be THE mobile game of the year . Right now the game incentives ( forces) micro transactions to be able to progress past stage 50ish. The power creep is really intense and the rewards fall off decently fast . Events are fun but don’t offer much outside the early game

Fun but Sooooo Hard
The Good- This game is in itself a lot of fun. The characters are well built and each have their own play and build style. Game mechanics are solid and you can tell the devs put a lot of thought into each weapon synergy and how they help you progress through each battle. If you purchase the no adds they give you a ton of things to grab up that makes it feel worth while as far as that goes. The Bad- This game is HARD. I’m talking getting destroyed over and over again on day one on early levels. And that’s with me purchasing no adds to have a bit of a head start in that area as well as purchasing the bigger bag space so that you can have more items on screen to fight with. If I could go back I wouldn’t have spent the money at this time. Even with these upgrades the early stages are punishing as it gets at time. You’ll more than likely find yourself wanting to throw your phone a time or two as you get to the final stage of the level and the boss either kills you outright before you can do much and if you happen to build right to where you can withstand the damage it heals every possible thing you can throw at it and the levels are times so it just completely outlasts you. Again this is the very beginning stages. The events are insanely hard I’m talking sever al stages and people on chat asking each other how to even get past the first stage. I can’t even imagine trying to beat it at all without the fully upgraded bag space which you must pay real money for and even then it’s insanely hard. I would definitely recommend this game but play it for a bit before spending any money.

Not too bad but..
Personally the game is good for what it is.. it just bothers me how quickly you become stuck and have to grind to progress starting from the fourth area, and most characters that are “good” are behind either pay walls, or have to wait for certain events for to have a very small chance at obtaining them.. not to mention the quick difficulty spike.. Paying money though if clearly something you don’t need to do, but it’s still heavily pay to win.. still, it’s a 4/5 from me.. just wish there was easier methods of getting characters and certain upgrades..

Could use improvements
The core gameplay loop is fun, but every menu that includes a real time ranking like arena and dice event takes forever to load and kills the enjoyment. Also as a player who did unlock the full backpack for all 3 classes locking them behind a paywall with seemingly no way to unlock them for free feels unfair to players who can’t spend.
