AMAZING THE BEST EVER
This app is FANTASTIC my kid LOVES this app and it's really helpful so get it for your kid and have some fun!
Santa is real
This app is not good why would you ever make this app if Santa is real
Good but…
My little sister is 7 And she is pretty smart. I know all of this is ai (obvs) but I made our elf move with the prompt: make the elf stand up wave and jump into the stocking. ( except in a more advanced form ) And my little sister saw the elf’s face change a little. It looked like she had a much longer nose and her mouth was kinda Side ways. Her eyes also look kinda weird. Idk I think it was kinda lopsided. Idk lol but Now she’s Screaming so I gotta Go. I sugest This app to 6-7 jk I’d say 5 and under, maybe 6 ok byeeeee
santa system
santa system doesn’t work, it makes u wait 5 minutes to do the video then the video never appears
Elf Mom
There is a lot I like about the app - I like that I can set elf alerts and record their reaction - the parent vs kids component is great too, keeps the magic alive! Unfortunately what does not keep the magic alive is when the AI technology changes or adds additional characters in your scenes, or brings a toy to life instead of the elf and you have to buy another credit to try again. The longer videos especially seem to be more likely to make changes to other toys or the features of the home that would make the video less believable. A great start! Just needs some improvement to the AI technology. What I would love to see is an option to regenerate if the AI doesn’t get it quite right before saving the video.
I love it!
This app is awesome and so easy to use.
Can’t edit a video even if it comes out wonky and they will delete your credits
The videos cants be edited or made again without paying for it so if the AI decides to have your elf teleport or gives you two elves that randomly vanish you can’t fix it and your left with a video you can’t show your kids. Not worth the money. And if you do buy credits makes sure to use them all quickly because they will remove them after a while
A fun way to get your kids to have more fun!!
The idea of it is so fun to just catch the elves in the act of having and causing mischief!! The reaction camera of the kids just make the whole act so worth it! I spent so long trying to mess with other video makers and this just makes it easier without a water mark that goes with the other video makers. The one thing I would add would be a preview of what your video is going to be because if you’re not as super descriptive in your text and it turns out messed up or not what you wanted, it wastes one of your credits. So after an hour and wasting 5 credits I know I have to be more cautious of when I make more videos. Other than that it’s a fun app for sure.
Slightly disappointed
Didn’t really follow my prompts and there’s no option to redo the video if it doesn’t populate correctly.
No revisions allowed
This app doesn’t give you the chance to edit a video so if something changes incorrectly then you lose that credit and can’t adjust
About the app is awesome
It’s really awesome. I can send anything with my elf on there.
Wouldn’t work
I spent almost 2 hours trying to get it to generate a video. I even tried different pictures to see if that was the problem. It just kept staying “can take up to 5 minutes” then I’d sit there for 10-15 minutes while the bar never moved
When it works it’s good
UPDATE: Support was able to help me quickly and resolve some of this. They’ve been super supportive and made quick fixes. Videos can be great but I’ve found it works 30% of the time, sometimes videos spin on creating forever, sometimes they get produced with random gibberish writing in the video and can’t be used. All these “extra” tries spends credits. It’d be nice if you could get a few tries per credit or get a credit back if you don’t like the output. When you do actually get a one to complete, and it’s good quality video it’s a cool app but problems with UX for sure.
No way of contacting support when app isn’t working properly!
Worked well at first now it’s making my kid talk instead of the elf! And I’m unable to contact anyone to get my credits back!
Cool idea, but needs a preview option
When the videos work, they’re very good, but there is currently no preview option or the output at all, so you’re just shoveling money at them and crossing your fingers nothing weird happens. Preview is absolutely essential for an app like this!
Perfect!!
I tried 6 different AI apps to try and create realistic Elf magic and unless u spend a lot of money and time perfecting the wording and prompts it won’t create something a 5 yr old would believe. I’m so glad I finally found this app fr!! This app will keep the magic alive for a little longer so thank u thank u thank u!
Paid for 3 videos, received Zero
Bought the 3 video package. Followed the instructions exactly and as soon as it started creating the video it would disappear and remove a credit. Happened all three times. 0 credits left and 0 videos created.
Good fun but the video has bugs
Love it uses the actual Elf rather than an avatar but..sometimes the props change in the video. I have 3 toys that dance but morph into each other. Giggling! Will the 6yo notice? No, but the 9yo will 🤪
Ai mind of its own
Unfortunately even with the smallest instruction like “make his head drop like he fell asleep, then pop back up to his previous pose” it goes over the top and make him jump up in the air, land odd and the face change. Bought 3 credits and all 3 attempts at the same video turned out average.
Shouldn’t have to pay
3 for having to pay
A must have!
This is hands down the best app for bringing true holiday magic to life. Watching our Elf actually move around the house has completely amazed and enchanted our kids — they are absolutely captivated seeing the mischief unfold while they’re asleep. It adds such a fun, believable layer to the Elf on the Shelf tradition and takes the experience to a whole new level. An absolute must-download for any family looking to elevate the magic of the season.
“critical bug alert update 20 hours ago”
did not produce the video of santa putting presents under the tree..that i told a 5 year old about. So thanks for that. It certainly took my video credits, though.
Good but only 1 free chance
Good but only one free chance to use it
Mediocre
Ridiculously expensive for a 5 second clip that is often pretty poor.
Great concept
The idea is brilliant, the fine print is it isn’t free, you get one go only before you need to pay up. Would I pay that much, prob not. However was my child entranced, yes he was. Did it capture that, no it didn’t. I just got a black screen unfortunately. But great concept to bring magic to Christmas, just not one I can afford!
Eden’s elf talking to her.
This is the best. My granddaughter has being saying how she wish Elfie could say something to her. This is the best.
Pague y nunca me generó ningún video
No la instalen.
First time tonight
Easy to use and very believable if trying to catch elf for the first time.
Clunky Morning experience
Video alert did not work when needed, creating a clunky experience with the kids
It’s ok
I like it, but I hate how you have to buy credits
Totally worth it
I got this to try out the 1 free video and it was so cool, so I got the $29 for 25 videos. I did quickly learn you have to be specific in what you want. I had one elf have two heads when it was doing cartwheels. With AI still developing and getting better over time I think this app is totally worth it. My class is going to love watching a video of him and his friends Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart doing funny things about my school.
Refund
It doesn’t upload the videos and I payed for the credit things and I still don’t have my ai videos
Mainly okay, have to pay though for most things the kids love it
Lovely app kid friendly they love it at Christmas time Just have to pay
It’s okay
It’s a good app, but takes a long time to load and you can only generate one video at a time and it takes like five minutes for one video to generate. It’s a good app, but at the same time it’s kind of like iffy like you don’t know cause you can only like take one picture and you can’t really move both elves at the time so if
So freakin fun!!!
This app is like magic!! It's so fun and easy to make the little videos of elf moving around. My husband and I play with it after the kids go to bed and show them in the morning. Obsessed!
Taking my money
I’ve purchased credit trying to make a special moment for my kid and it won’t produce a video
Great but…..
Overall it’s amazing the animation this app makes of the elf. However, once the prompts are submitted and the video created, it’s not possible to fix an error and each video costs you a credit. Being a new user I am still learning the right prompts and what is possible or what prompts result in what kind of video. I have lost 3 credits because there’s an error in the video I can’t fix (eg elf was sitting on Santa dolls shoulder in the picture and I asked the elf to walk to Santa and sit on his shoulder). She did but pulled herself off his shoulder and threw herself first. I guess she should have been sitting on the floor. I can’t use that video since she has a dress on and both elfs are the same. It did cost another credit. I have 3 of these kinds of videos where the prompt were followed but the content didn’t make sense the way it was produced so I wasted €7. I am not sure if I want to purchase 3 more credits as I have yet to produce a correct video.
Elf’s
Good app
Never worked
Ordered credits for santa video and it never actually made the video. Just wasted money.
Elf cam
So good! So quick and easy!
Bummed
Just purchased the biggest waste of $25 on Christmas morning for 25 credits in the app and can’t use them with move an elf feature. Keeps giving me a bug prompted that there are no more open ai credits and quota exceeded. So I need open ai credits too?
