I absolutely adore this game. The lore is very thought out and beautifully complex. I love the idea of a well crafted open world craft-n-slash, with an engaging story that doesn’t leave me feeling bored and wishing for more. I haven’t felt this strongly about a game since Terraria came out. I seldom get hooked on games, this one is flinging me around. The art work is vividly satisfying; the animation suits it. Overall a heart pumping, challenging, choices truly matter, detrimental to my sleep health kinda game. Quite frankly, I love that. Drova awaits! (Would recommend).

Bad literature but creative gameplay
Cool Game. But who wrote the script? Was the Author a fifth grader? You can’t have a medieval fantasy game and the people talk modern English or sound like they were born after 2000.
Instant death
Well, the game was fun until I got to the first major town (mandatory for questline), and all three of my saves were inside of that town. Each time I load any of the saves, my character immediately dies. This happened previously but I luckily had a save outside of town 20 minutes earlier. This time, I wasn’t so fortunate. Deleted the game and redownloaded and lost my saves entirely. Maybe 15 hours in, trashed. Pretty irritating, so be aware before buying the full version and diving in

Great Game, BUT
i love it, it’s great, it’s got multiple endings, the style is great, there’s lore… but it closes itself every five minutes on my iOS. i’m on se mini and it just will NOT stay running.

nach wenigen Minuten der Nutzung, wiederholtes Abstürzen - damit leider nicht zu nutzen (iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 26)

The game closes a lot and when you try to go back in you get the title screen with all unsaved progress lost. I tried to play for a bit since it seems like a good game but it’s annoying to have to save like a madman to get anywhere.

Exceptional
A lovingly crafted little masterpiece, beautiful and atmospheric. Some locations, like Forest Primeval, are a pure joy to explore, while others, like Knawd Moor, are genuine nightmare fuel (and the amazing soundtrack complements them perfectly). The lore is much deeper than the game itself: to figure out the whole history of the Bygones, you have to actually sit down and manually piece together the world’s chronology from all the random notes you’ve gathered - the plot doesn’t lead you through it (at least not all of it). The story is captivating, the dialogues and characters are well-written. The crafting system is one of the best I’ve seen in RPGs. The fighting system may need some polishing, but that’s about it. The game rewards different playing styles/builds - with a proper combination of artifacts, spells, abilities, and weapons, you can build a very efficient character, but then reconfigure it with relative ease when you encounter a really challenging enemy. Special thanks to the game designers for the endless inventory - the game would’ve been much less solid and enjoyable without it.
Funktioniert nicht auf IPhone 13
Ich habe das Spiel gekauft, weil ich viel Gutes darüber gehört habe. Leider stürzt das Spiel auf meinem IPhone 13 alle paar Minuten ab. Schnellspeichern spammen hilft, aber jetzt bin ich an einer Stelle zwischen Mine, Holzfällerlager und Ruinenlager, an der das Spiel jedes Mal nach 2 Sekunden crasht. Ich kann also nicht weiterspielen. Echt schade, da mir das Spiel gut gefällt. So muss ich leider versuchen das Spiel zu refunden.

Interesting mechanics for its genre
I had this wishlisted for a long time on steam and then saw it here. I’m glad I tried it on mobile first, although I am pretty frustrated at the lack of cloud saves. I cannot continue my game between iPhone and iPad. iPad mini is an ideal platform for this but I don’t always have it. I wish the iPhone default fonts were all maxed out but at least you can fix it. Some text is still ultra tiny (eg NPCs walking around talking to themselves). I like that it’s a basic arpg but so far it has a little bit of investigation similar to The Witcher, which was a pleasant surprise. The graphics could use a bit more contrast. Everything so far is a bit desaturated. Enjoying it so far.

Crash
Played this on xbox and it was very fun for a pixel rpg. Saw it on here and gave it a try. After about 30-40 minutes the game just closed itself and completely deleted all my progress. Cannot recommend playing it or buying the full version.

This game is absolutely fantastic! Gameplay, artstyle, and exploration are great! 2D Gothic is a fairly accurate description in terms of gameplay and soul, minus the jank. Game occasionally crashes, but that could just be a me problem. Update: Still crashes for me fairly often on multiple devices.

Drova: Forsaken Kin is the quintessential mobile video game experience. An extraordinary narrative. Compelling characters. Deep crafting system. Robust skill progression. Good weapon variety. Solid build diversity. Limitless exploration. Endless replayability. Classic RPG charm. Dynamic Action-RPG combat. Overall a challenging, memorable experience and peak mobile gaming.
Great Premise but Buggy
I paid for the full game because I was impressed by what little I had played already. However, what I quickly found out is that every couple of minutes the app just crashes. Even with having the shortest auto save on I was losing any progress I made. I loved the premise but I just can’t play it due to the bug issues. I truly hope this gets fixed soon or I could get a refund since I can’t even truly experience the game currently.
Awesome game but kept crashing on my iPhone 13
This is such a cool game, I love the graphics and world building. The story is also super interesting and I would have kept going but my phone kept crashing whenever I got to new people or creatures. So I ended up saving my game every few minutes to make sure I didn’t have to start from way earlier when I got the app back up. This got kind of tedious after a while and honestly ruined the immersion for me, so I gave up and deleted it. My phone is an iPhone 13 and has been having issues already, so I doubt it’s the app’s fault, I was just disappointed my phone couldn’t handle it. Highly recommend if you have a device that can handle it!!!
Disappointed
I just a started playing this game and I love it but the only problem is every 5 mins the game closes. It’s annoying I’m not sure if it’s a bug or what. But before I bought the full game it was running smoothly.

Especially for putting an explorer mode that lets me enjoy the game, because I definitely wasn’t beating this and I’m a pretty decent gamer. Also, since I was able to keep playing, I really got to enjoy the experience. Really well done and worth every penny!!
Crashes
After purchasing the full version the game will periodically crash. I am otherwise satisfied, but since it crashes so frequently it’s near impossible to gain any forward movement.

I’m 33 hours in and I love this game but the constant lag and crashes pulls me out of the immersion I’m really invested in this game it’s money well spent but more hotfixes would be nice please,I appreciate the developers work I must say waiting on the next ip

Nearly perfect
I’ve been looking for a game like this for a long time - rpg, action, story-line, exploration. I am however not a “gamer” per se, but I love these kinds of games. The problem I run into with this and others is that the difficulty is too hard. I get into the game, barely squeaking by the combat, and then I get to a point of no return. This game has adjustable difficulty levels but, alas, not easy enough for me…
Do better
With all the money you dump into these games and you even say you have controller support, is there some reason that we can’t disable touchscreen control controls so we don’t have to look at all that garbage while we use a controller? I can’t even count how many games could have been good if there was a way to get this off the screen. It’s 2026 people come on.

Great game
This is an awesome game. Love the graphics and storyline, but the game is constantly crashing and I would think it’s my phone and maybe a part of it is but there are some places that are so bugged. I can hardly move around and I have to wait for it to auto save (I’m on iron mode) to get rid of the bugged zone. But overall, the game is amazing.
Not running well
Cool game I love the graphics but it keeps cutting itself off and making me start over my progress couldn’t get far save won’t buy the full game if that’s the state of the demo.
Great game but there are issues with controller
The game is great the only problem is when playing with a controller there is no way to map the buttons. There is a bug where when using the shield it also opens up the map which is pretty annoying.
Would be fun but.. refund if not fixed
I originally downloaded this game on my iPad which is 9th generation. Before purchasing the game, it ran smoothly and seemed so fun! Graphics are impressive and gameplay is intriguing. After the demo course of the game had finished, I decided to pay the full price to play the entire game. Upon opening Drova I immediately ran into the problem of the app restarting me. When this happens I am returned to my home screen and haven’t been able to progress in the slightest, due to every thirty seconds the app crashes. This feels like a waste of my money, and I wish I could get a refund to actually play what I payed for. Disappointing honestly.
Demo played
I think that this game has a lot of great potential. However, it has a few bugs and issues which made me decide not to purchase it. Including unclose-able menus, which soft locks you. Then when you reload your game by force closing the app, it resets some of your progress. This tends to happen during the dialogue where you practice blocking and doing combos. Picking items and equipping/using them can be a bit difficult on iPhone. It would be nice for there to be an item cool down so you know you have used an item. Instead of accidentally using it 2-3 times. Basic enemies have nice mechanics overall, I like how each NPC has their own tidbits of history, overall nice pixel artwork, but there’s something in it that it’s missing. The lore is okay but there’s nothing that really grabs and hooks your attention. I’m not sure how to explain it, but it doesn’t make you feel alive. Like staring endlessly into a black and white still photo. I’ve played plenty of 2D pixel games and RPG games, but this one feels like it’s missing some soul to it. I’m sorry, if that sounds quite harsh.
You need to make a continue story line.
I really loved the game it was really nice playing the graphics were nice but there was some bugs where I crashed,or loaded in and I ended up dying but other than that I really fell in love with this kind of game and once I finished it I was pretty bummed out because I never really explore the map and I was still on a pretty low level.

Straight to I I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this game. The idea, the world, the graphics, and the story all look and feel amazing. Caught my interest very fast and the fighting feels nice. Now my own issue, I just wish I could enjoy for more than 3-5 minutes, I have an IPhone 13 and the game crashes on me. I’ve tried messing with graphic settings and got an extra minute or two (I think) but it still crashed on me. I don’t have no where near the newest hardware so if you have a 13 or older, maybe a 14 it might crash a lot. Other than that enjoy the game, I’m sure it’s a good one.
No iOS support, iPad Pro 13” can’t view
iPad Pro 13” is too zoomed in, such that items to the left and right aren’t displayed on screen. Buttons are cut off sometimes. When trying to report this to support, there site doesn’t have options for iOS or this game.

I really love the game its so fun! But i have a really frustrating problem it keeps crashing out on my iphone and in my ipad it doesn’t even load the game after the storyline💔💔
