I love this game. It reminds me so much of the old one beat star and I love to beat star the one thing I wish that SuperStar would change is at the end of each song when it’s scoring I would like it to be like beat star where it goes bronze diamond.

Minor Lag Spikes
I have been enjoying this game tremendously. I haven’t experienced any issues the first two weeks i played it. I’ve gotten diamond perfect on every song I play but this week I have been noticing that when I enter a new stage in the song or random moments, the notes lag for a split second and messes up my potential chance to get a perfect plus. I’ve also noticed some songs are still having a bit of delay when I match up the sound with the bar perfectly.
fun game when it actually works
I do really enjoy this game and its really fun especially when just passing time. However I have noticed some songs are bugged or the tiles in general are bugged. Sometimes they wont actually regisiter or you’ll swipe on an arrow key and it’ll light up but won’t follow through and fail the song. This gets really irritating when it happens every time in the same spot making the track “unbeatable” because this happens in the same spot with the notes. I also can’t clise ads, I have to close the game and reopen it everytime an ad comes because they won’t close normally.
It’s alright
It’s a dupe of beatstar, seems to be the closest to it. There are a lot of fun features but I do think asking for 5.99 a week for premium is a lot of money. Basically 24 a month.. I don’t remember Beatstar having this. As well as that, it seems harder to play songs or complete challenges to progress as it’s asking you to watch more ads (which I understand not everyone will mind) but it does get rather frustrating after a while. Initially thought getting the tour pass but couldn’t justify it as there weren’t any songs I recognised. It’s a shame because I think this app has a lot of potential but charging a lot of money for a premium service certainly doesn’t make me go “oh yeah, this is what I need”.

I love this game so much I am just confused on why it all the sudden was telling me I have to watch an ad to play. But otherwise fantastic work!
Needs Work
I used to play a lot of Beatstar and was also very good at it. This app tries to do the same but it’s not quite there. 1. Minimal song choice. The app definitely needs to expand the number of songs available, particularly for extreme songs. 2. Perfect+ and Perfect both show as green tiles in-game. Users should be able to pick to change this to a green/orange/red system for Perfect+/Perfect/Great. Means you can actually see when something’s gone awry. 3. On a lot of songs the sizing and spacing of the tiles is off. E.g. on an extreme song with lots of tiles at once, some of them are big and some of them are small. This makes it all look very confusing and hard to get it right. Tiles should be sized not only just to fit on the screen but also to match the tiles around it. 4. Arrow tiles are getting scored, but the swiping action prevents scoring from being accurate. It’s unclear if it scores based on the first touch, or when the arrow is released, or somewhere in the middle. On Beatstar arrow tiles were automatically Perfect+ to reflect this and SuperStar should do the same (or make them non-scoring). 5. As most other reviews have also mentioned, the gem system seems a bit obsolete at the moment. Most people used them to continue playing a song, but this is not possible. 6. The ranking system seems to be the same as that of Beatstar. It seems obsolete that you are ranked better when you have completed more songs, when realistically you’re not actually better at the game then. Separate rankings per difficulty would also be great! Someone who is great at the Normal difficulty is very different from someone who is great at the Extreme difficulty. That’s all for now. Would be great if some of this could be implemented!

Don’t like how I have to watch ads to play most of the song, some songs are too childish and funk. The original was better in my opinion

Awful song selection
Idk if this game is only made for mindless teens who only listen to current pop songs, but the songs in this game are absolutely horrible. I go out of my way to avoid most of the songs in this game. I would sooner dissolve my ears in acid then play these awful songs to relax and have fun

I appreciate having a game so similar to my og but this game could use some improvements. First I feel like the pfp characters and some of the design seems a little ai-ish? I’m hoping it’s not ai generated! Second (and most important) I’d like to see better song selections soon! I’m glad there’s multiple genres but we’re definitely missing some good songs that beatstar had so hopefully we can get some more!! Overall, the gameplay is good and satisfies my beatstar fix, just a couple fixes can make it great!

The “Battle” mode where you compete against someone else for a better score is completely fake. As i was playing a song i watched the enemies score and saw them clearly behind me, meanwhile i got perfect + on every note. By the end of the song they magically also got perfect on the song, even though that’s impossible they were literally missing perfects within the first 5 seconds of the song. Just trash

Game is basically a carbon copy of beatstar but way worse. Buttons don’t always register when you press. Constant ads make the game not worth playing. Arrows are the worst thing never register and the amount of times I know I’ve definitely pressed it and it just doesn’t work. Game has potential to be as good as beatstar but needs polishing

i loved beatstar so much and was so so sad when it disappeared… however this app is the next best thing!! very reminiscent of beatstar and most of the gameplay aspects are practically the same just with the design and animation quality poorer in comparison. (and with less songs). but this app definitely makes me happy when im missing beatstar!

Used To Enjoy It
The game was so good, until today when they added forced ad breaks to the game. You are going to lose a player who has been playing this game for months, make ads optional again or else you are ruining the game.

This game is definitely your best option if you’re missing Beatstar (as many of us are) !! The songs are pretty good, I do hope the collection of songs grows soon though! I really would give this game 5 stars once the tap/touch glitch is fixed. It’s a minor thing but definitely screws up your flow in the middle of a song. Overall a very very close to perfect replica of Beatstar!
Where have all the songs gone?
I don’t like playing songs I don’t know and every single song I knew on the app has suddenly disappeared, including almost every song I had in my own library of songs…what’s happened?
Just like Beatstar but…
Love the game, but you will lose out on wishlist boxes if you don’t have 6 songs pre wishlisted (in other game you could wishlist them at the time at still get the box) so make sure you do that before claiming or you’ll miss the box entirely. Also, $7 a week for no ads and unlimited play? That’s crazy. That’s more than a streaming platform. You’re just monetizing off a game that got deleted and hoping to make profit off that. I will continue to play… but as a free player, until it becomes a more logical price.
Love to see it back! But have a small request
I was an avid player of the original game and glad to see it back! I was so bummed when they shut the servers down so I’m glad to see it back and running. I just have one small request, can you make vibrations happen on perfect and perfect plus like the original game, it throws me off when I’m playing and I’m tapping the notes on perfect and not perfect plus. It’s just a small quality of life change, it would make it feel just like the original games I fell in love with. Everything else is perfect about the game I just get thrown off when I don’t feel the vibrations if I hit perfect and not perfect plus, no vibration for anything less is completely fine but it throws off my rhythm when I’m still hitting perfects and not feeling the vibrations. Thanks a lot!!
Cheap Plagiarism
It's a low-quality Beatstar knockoff that feels soulless to play. It doesn't run smoothly and it's not immersive whatsoever. It's the smallest step up from Magic Tiles. Don't waste your time on a game trying to be something it's not, such as this one.

So I love the game like other reviewers I loved beatstar and country star and spent a lot of time playing them and I like this game just as much but it kinda turns you off the game when almost every song you have to watch an add to continue because the game didn’t resister a move you made or a swipe you made. Also same as everyone else why have so many gems if we can’t use them to continue I get why you need ads to keep the game going but make ads to open the boxes instead or get exclusive songs.

Pretty good
Overall, pretty faithful the original while still having features that make it unique. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because for some reason this game makes you buy a subscription just to be able to continue a level if you don’t want to restart. Not the biggest issue, but really annoying when i’m just trying to play levels I haven’t played to level up. This shouldn’t be an issue if you are any better at the game than I am.

J’étais accro à Beatstar et j’avais vraiment un très bon niveau dans le jeu. J’ai dû téléchargé celui là comme beatstar a été malheureusement supprimé. Je suis vraiment déçue, c’est pas du tout la même qualité de jeu je trouve, le jeu est moins fluide, le système de diamant n’est plus le même maintenant on ne peut plus utiliser de diamants pour continuer la chanson quand on a loupé une note (on doit obligatoirement regarder une pub qui dure quasiment 1 minute a chaque fois si on veut pas recommencer la chanson), pour devenir premium il faut payer 7€ par semaine ce qui est quand même pas donné. J’ai ouvert très peu de coffres alors que j’ai quand même donné une chance au jeu. La sensibilité est à améliorer car j’ai beau appuyé sur les touches parfois ça ne veut pas le prendre en compte. Je suis franchement déçue et nostalgique de beatstar…
I’m back in my happy place!
Beatstar was my game, it was so amazing and this feels just as amazing. I love the new music which is a great addition to the game, battle mode is awesome, and I just love that it has the same features as Beatstar. The only thing is idk if it’s my phone or a bug in the game but my right slide arrow in the far left lane doesn’t work for me. And I’ve noticed this in many songs I’ve played which contributes to me having to restart everytime. But overall I am very happy the game is back new and improved, looks like it’s headed in a great direction!
Vs mode
Great game but the ranking system makes no sense. As lower level player you should get rewarded for beating a higher level but that is not the case. You can get diamond perfect 5 songs in a row with no point rewarded and then get a diamond perfect tie and lose a whole bunch of points. Or get diomond perfect and a player that doesn’t even complete the song get significantly more points than you. I don’t know if this is just a problem for higher skill level players or not. But my win to lose ratio should come into account.

The game is fun and I want to let my kids play it but the bad words are fully intact, not even bleeped out, so I won’t let them.

This new Beatstar is not as good at all I miss the old Beatstar it was so much better theirs way less songs now and before I had like 700 songs and my entire progress was erased plus I don’t like the new songs a lot of them are k-pop phonk or rap and theirs nothing wrong with that it’s just I wish it still had more of a mix and the old songs I liked also I don’t like that you have to watch an ad to continue instead of use gems but on the bright side there’s no limit to how much you can play and theirs like no ads but still I miss the old Beatstar :(

Lost all my progress
I played for months, unlocked a bunch of songs. Suddenly asked me to log in and lost all my access to my old account with unlocked songs. Nice work Cadenverse.
Bittersweet
I was a beatstar mega fan. Had all the songs. This is a bittersweet discovery for me because I love the game but I know It will disappear eventually at a moments notice along with all your songs, and records. Be careful about spending money in these games.
Star level ups
After level 10 it doesn’t show new levels and I have maxed out the songs on a box but how am I supposed to get more songs when I can level up.

I came from beatstar, where the platform was just flawless!!!! THIS is okay, but it glitches so much and swiping right on the left arrow is CRAZY! I was an extremely great player on beatstar, but this feels like I can’t play at all or like I’m on my early stages of playing. PLEASE GET YOUR TECH PPL TO FIX THE GLITCHES.
