What people like
- Funny and charming story.
- Great voice acting and music.
- Cute duck detective character.
- Kid friendly mystery game.
What they complain about
- Free demo is way too short.
- Story feels rushed and unresolved.
- Not worth the six dollar price.
- Misleading free download listing.
Awesome
And Iโll be waiting for the next one. Voice acting is enjoyable, the environments are pretty charming and lush, the music is groovy. Every once in a while I got stuck. That makes it even more fun. The whole thing took me about 4 hours.
bugged on level 3
cant imagine paying and getting stuck on this level lol
Wish it was free
You are a really good game. I just really wish it was free. I know that sometimes you have to get money to make the game better but just really wish it was free.
Not worth purchase
Just gonna say thereโs a reason this game prompts you to pay AFTER downloading. Really not worth the money at all
Fun game, too short, not worth $6
I like the game but really expensive for like 2 hours of clicking. Not a ton of mystery and pretty easy to figure out. First game was way better.
This game sucks
Bro what is the point of having it listed as free but then you have to buy it for 5 bucks and just like I dunno it just doesnโt make sense
Not a free game donโt bother
The game said itโs free but you have to pay money to play for more than 15 minutes.
The detective is confused
Iโve been working on the third level when youโre at the campsite and itโs Iโve been stuck for basically for an hour and Iโve been stuck. Itโs so hard when you actually try to do it. It still has all your answers wrong even when sometimes theyโre not if you think of crazy then youโre crazy. Actually, I am kind of crazy so I apologize, but I like the duck theme and missing people in the case thatโs a detective game
Fun but not worth $6
The game was fun but I was surprised how short it was for the cost.
Amazing game
Im very impressed with the story and all of the twists, but also I liked the animation and voices too. I really enjoyed this game, and Iโll play it again when I forget the story one day. Also this is kid friendly, and great for future detectives one day. Finally if youโre a big fan of mystery, crime , and humor this is a great game for you, but just remember the controls get confusing some times. But besides that this is a great game, and i recommend.it so if you feel like downloading something I say pick this. But there is payment to play but a demo too if you donโt feel like spending money.
This game isnโt free
It says itโs free to get you to download it but to play the game you actually have to pay $6. SCAM
Good but
So itโs a short game which they do warn u about which is great. My only true complaint is that some of the clues were alittle hard to pop up. I put it over something and it didnโt click until the 3rd time. Which was a bit annoying but still lots of fun. Worth the buy
Is it worth it?
This game is awesome I loved playing it. But $6.00 for a game I finished in 25 mins is crazy. I understand if there a lot of different story lines but I saw thereโs another game and you also have to pay for that one. Iโve played great amazing games for cheaper that are still being updated with new levels. I feel like Iโve been robbed of my money. I donโt want to take away from the actual gameplay because is great but not worth the money.
Quack quack

i hate games like this
i thought i would be able to play a cute game about a duck but noooo when you download it ,it turns out you have to pay!
Cool Game, but could improve in several ways.
Firstly, i had a good time playing this game. For the price, it was pretty quick, but worth it for the fun little adventure, the cute artwork, and interesting animation and interaction styles. My main critical feedback is about the storytelling itself. Overall, i thought i saw the direction it was going maybe 3 different times, and was pleased to see the little twists and turns that were made with regard to suspects. ALERT: MAJOR SPOILERS NEXT I had a hard time liking the main character. Heโs kind of a BUTThead in general. Can see why his lady left him tbh. Heโs pretty dang mean sounding all around, and doesnโt have much to redeem himself by, not even towards the end when for not much reason he warms up a tad to his apologizing roommate, then doesnโt have much empathy for his friend in the end while heโs crying his eyes out over his gfโs betrayal. The story sort of wraps up too fast without any closer on what happens to the son when his single parent is arrested (i donโt like the idea of jumping to conclusions about the stranger father just taking over instantly). Also, the detective getting arrested was prob supposed to be funny, but threw meโฆ there was no obvious reason for it (Iโm left to guess it was due to him snooping into peopleโs things and getting called on it by the camp owner, or it had to do with his court orders / divorce?? Either way, REALLY GRIM and not a great wrap up, didnโt leave this game feeling good at all). Also, got major creep vibes from the estranged father after the kid goes missing without his mother knowing, and finding a red-string stalker board of the kidโs activitiesโฆ why couldnโt this have been a photo album and clippings like a caring parent would do, rather than a seemingly murder boardโฆ. I think the album would still have been sus at first for someone seemingly unrelated to the kid, but makes much more sense for a proud parent wanting to connect rather than a red string murder suspect board. Probably would have called the cops on this guy too for getting a kid he was seemingly stalking to go out on the lake alone with himโฆ Also, some things felt so unresolved or unlikely. Like why the noisiness of the broken toilet or the spending habits of Emelia were made to seem noteworthy? Also, the biggest problem i had was the โbruiseโ mark clue on Katja which felt like a huge stretch for natural deduction to figure out that mystery. Why couldnโt we just ask her about it and maybe get a response that we later find out was untrustworthy? And i kinda feel like the game was more heavy on filling in the missing words, and could have had more to do with getting info from interrogations, maybe a 2nd examination of people to notice any noteworthy changes to add as clues or hintsโฆ etc
Great story
The story is awesome and the voice acting is amazing!
Pay after download
Good ole bait and switch. Free to download, not free past 15 minutes of play
Voices
I love the game and played the first one which was great but I canโt get the voices on the characters to work and they never say anything. I canโt hear them ๐ญ
Awwww I want ittttt
That was so cute. Very slow burning but thatโs refreshing. I hate how adorable this โdetectiveโ ducky is. SOOO. UTEEE
Fun cozy game! Great care went into the game. Canโt wait for more cases!
The Duck Detective is a wonderfully fun and relaxing game to play. Great care went into creating every aspect and detail, and I appreciate being able to buy the game and play it in full. I enjoyed exploring & solving the mysteries, and I look forward to more cases with the Duck Detective.
Overall, this game is great.
I only played the first 15 minutes as im not gonna pay $6 for a one time play only game, but it was great as far I could tell. I loved finding out who all the characters were, solving cases, and all the jokes were pretty funny lol. To be honest, I will definitely come back and buy the full version in the future. Keep it up!
Duck
Funnny asf
Makes you think itโs free but then you have to pay for the full game
There is no reason to not disclose that you have to pay for the full version, just make a demo game rather than making it an in app purchase thatโs very shady
El pato
No me gusta por que para terminar el juego tenes que pagar โจ๐ค
I love it
I love this game. This is so fun finding clues, and the plot twist at the end is so good! Itโs too short though. I need MORE!!!
Purchase?
First 15 minutes of gameplay for free? Give me a break. Greedy pigs.

Best game ever soooo fun!
My review
Hi, so I paid for the entire game and it didnโt work for some reason. It wouldnโt let me find out what was wrong with my book so I was a tad bit confused. It wouldnโt add the characters that it was supposed to so just donโt play the game bye
I didnโt play it yet but Iโm so excited
God bless you for making this game(Im sorry if you arenโt Christianโฆmy bad ๐ซช)
Only 15 minutes for free??!
Game says itโs free until you download.
