Unplayable Bug
The game was perfectly fine for the first few days of trying it, but now, whenever I open the game, it goes to the start screen, and then cuts to a black screen. Reinstalling hasn’t worked either. I’m on an IPhone 17 so it shouldn’t be a hardware issue. As of right now, the game is currently unplayable. I’m happy to change to a better rating once I can actually play the game again.

This started super fun, but turned.
I actually really really liked this game for like the first couple of weeks of playing. Genuinely fun. But the leveling up is busted at a certain point. I’m at 37-30 and it’s stupidly difficult to get past. And now the game is just honestly not fun at this point. Sad because I did really like the game, but I’m probably uninstalling. Games that force you to buy to move past are just greedy people.
A glitch?
Once I open the game it freeze the screen, it won’t open until I close it and open it again it keeps happening. Can you fix it?

Great game, but a waste of time—there's no speed-up option for clearing levels.
It’s fun, sure, but it’s a huge time sink! Could we get a speed-up function for clearing stages? And is it possible to minimize the dungeon screen so we can run stages at the same time? It wastes so much time!

Not my favorite
I got it when it first came out for unlocking stuff in crk and the longer I had the more bored I got with it. It was fun for a couple days when you unlock stuff but it’s really repetitive and at certain levels it really hard idk if it’s a skill issue or just wanting to play longer to beat the boss. Though I do really like the characters it adds and some fun maniacs but that’s pretty much it.

It’s very fun and it’s an awesome game created by Devsisters, very nice
Boring game with stingy creators
I’ve been a fan of the cookie run series, but this game is terrible. Such a boring, monotonous game. And to top it all off, I received 1.1k gems (5 pulls) to replace the 1.1k gingerbrave shards (11 pulls) I lost on this most recent update. I will not be continuing to support this franchise.

Not working
I’m on a high performance device but when I log in to play I’m met with a black screen and can’t play anymore, please fix this
Good, but too many ads
I think this game is pretty good for what it wants to be. Simple, addicting, relatively mindless. However, there are WAY too many ads for things that really shouldn’t need them. Every day, if you want maximum rewards, you need to watch 24 ads. It’s kind of ridiculous. I understand ads for bonus content, like the shop, or the lucky rolls. But needing to watch 15 ads a day just for upgrade materials is insanity. That’s my only complaint.

I understand it is an idle rpg maximized for phones, but i’d really appreciate a horizontal option for people with tablets!
Huge Performance Problems
I’ve played many Idle games in the past but I have never had such a problem with performance as I have with this game. I click one button and over half the time it goes to a loading screen where it either loads for 5-30 seconds or just crashes the game. This is like literally just me pressing any button; like the game shouldn’t have problems bringing me to the missions screen but sometimes I have to wait a couple seconds and other times my game literally crashes. It could totally be an issue with my phone but again I have not had nearly as bad of problems with any other Idle games I’ve played. I’ve tried looking for settings to lower the quality of the game so it’s not so harsh on my phone but there are none. After the game crashes it literally causes other apps on my phone to run worse. I really enjoy lots about the game but if this is not something the devs can fix then I see no reason to continue playing the game.
Good game but…
Bottlenecks are frustrating. Higher rank people will give me teams they used to pass the level and it never works for me, it makes no sense! One of the pets ingame is also p2w and grants pay to players a much larger advantage over free to players. Skip this game if you are free to play!

the arena is very bad i could have an entire team of very good cookies and somehow lose to an entire team of rares. and the chat system is bad people can bypass the filters very easy and there’s no way to get the chat of your screen.

Love the game play And idleness though I wish some levels weren’t as hard as they were, and I wish there was some sort of difficulty adjustment in the future I also love how easy it is to get cutters in this game compare to games like crk and cookie run oven break I also like how generous the game can be at times

Very few bugs, but the few are very prominent
Every time I reroll the lucky dice thing, I can only get a multiplier of 1. Other than that, awesome game.
Barebones
Starts off fine. Very typical idle game but once the honeymoon phase ends very fast you realise there’s about 3 tasks to do in the game that are completed in minutes and then you are locked out of them till the next day. The gameplay loop is also extremely dull and repetitive.
Typical CR game.
Like other games, this one is also nice to f2p players in terms of crystals etc. However, whales are going to whale. The story is fine. I have no issues with my device. I gave a 3 stars because there’s a very important feature missing…..being able to disable the chat. Please DevSisters. I beg of you.

as someone who is an avid consumer of idle games & loves cookie run, i’ve been super excited to play this game and have played every day since day 1 and have spent money (upwards of $15) multiple times already. it is a good game and fun for me (but it is an idle game so don’t download if you don’t like idle games… duh). THERE NEEDS TO BE A WAY TO TURN CHAT OFF. NOW. i’m 25 years old and play this game to NOT be online. i am not a member of any cookie run fan communities, or any public communities other than mainstream social media for that matter. the fact that i’m being forced to see teenagers opinions every day — every time i log in to the game — is actually going to make me quit. they’re talking about being bullied, partner abuse, talking about how suicidal they are, etc. etc. etc. nonstop even a week+ later. the constant messages (multiple times a minute) are also absolutely infuriating. i’ve tried to work around it by blocking everyone who talks but you only allow a limited blocklist and no chat filter. i am absolutely sick and tired of it and absolutely will not ever pay money for your game again and will quit playing if you don’t add the option.

For an idle RPG, it’s solid. I don’t play many of them but was stoked to see that Dr. Wasabi was finally in another game (I have been hoping and begging for this since the last time she was in a game, which was, uhh… Over half a decade ago? In puzzle world? It’s been a long time), and upon downloading… Was kind of disappointed that a lot of the fighting sprites for older Ovenbreak OG cookies, *including and especially* Dr. Wasabi, used their very, very old Ovenbreak sprites. Some of these sprites are almost a decade old, and as someone who’s been into the Cookie Run series for nearly ten years, it’s… A little disappointing. I would absolutely love it if some spritework got updated - Otherwise, this is an entertaining little idle game if you’re bored. The dialogue is hilarious, (Wonderfully written!), but… For the fans of older, underloved cookies, the sprites are kind of a letdown. That being said, I can only hope these sprites will eventually be updated as this is a brand new game. Maybe I’m biased, but I really just would adore Ovenbreak originals like Dr. Wasabi Cookie getting more love and care from the devs.

Repetitive 4 quests
Played for a week got bored due to the same 4 quests just appearing. Not as much as an idle game just click the same 4 buttons for the same 4 quest till you uninstall. Love the game but wish developers put more thought.
insanely good game!
i have many positive things to say about this game but probably nothing that hasn't been said before. it's incredibly fun and one of the most engaging idle rpgs i've ever played! crc also cracked my staunch f2p will because $5 for no ads is a bargain that felt reasonable (and has paid off). the only thing keeping me from a 5-star review is the damn quest cycle 😭😭 it's not always bad, but if you idle for a while and advance through multiple stages the loop of pulling from the gacha and baking and opening chests and defeating enemies and whatever gets absurdly tedious and tiresome. this system has almost driven me to put down the game forever out of both annoyance and principle but the positives have (so far) outweighed this urge. this game is so enjoyable otherwise it breaks my heart that this little gimmick can ruin the experience 💔💔 but thank u devs ur awesome!!!
Devsisters barely has original concepts anymore.
This is just a game identical to Hero Dino or that idle slime game, just with the Cookie Run IP. No different in terms of P2W, nice character designs. Shame these awesome designs are wasted as some sort of cash cow for customers to waste money. I can even slander The Battle Cats, one of my favorite games like this, yet PONOS has original concepts unlike Devsisters. Kingdom is just Jurassic World: The Game with the Cookie Run IP, Ovenbreak is close to being original, OvenSmash is just Brawl Stars. 2 stars for nice designs and thats it.
Causing Really Bad Battery Drain
It heats my phone and causes heavy battery drain. Even on 30 FPS and normal resolution. I'm on iPhone 16 so it's in no way a weak device but this game's optimization needs to be better.

What am I doing???
Game has no tutorial. It doesn’t explain how anything works. All these pop ups come up of characters dialogue but they disappear after a second so you don’t have enough time to read it. I think this game must be designed for people who played it before(?) I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do. It’s literally just watching characters fight in screen. I don’t seem to have a role to play. There is no objective. It’s really quite stupid.

Exhausted
I’m never ever going to touch Cookie Run Crumble again. For hours, I have been overstimulated and overwhelmed, the tutorial hand and the quest things are constantly in my face, forcing me to do every stupid little thing. The UI is hard to navigate to keep up with the demanding quests, the exhausting errands. I’m tired, my head hurts and I only wanted Dark Cherry Cookie because she looked cool! I was stuck on Stage 6-30 for hours; barely able to get half way through the boss. No matter what I did, I couldn’t get past 6-30. I am exhausted, angry, disappointed, and overwhelmed. The time to defeat each boss is unfairly short and frustrating. Berry Yogurt Cookie is absolutely adorable, he is my son and I want him in Cookie Run Kingdom. I am going to return to Cookie Run Kingdom which is my favourite game of the franchise.
Free to start but buying the $5 ad removal is essential
This game has optional ads in every menu for extra rewards. You can ignore them but you’re basically playing a trial since you won’t be able to keep up with the leaderboards and will quickly run into roadblocks. It’s a pleasant game but just fyi buying the $5 ad remover is essential.
Fun
genuinely addicting, i expected something boring and standard for them, but for some reason i rlly could not put the game down. i especially enjoy that old, classic characters (especially ones from ovenbreak) r given crazy buffs. it was about time that they got the recognition they deserved!!
Boring Legend of mushroom game
Title speaks for itself, don’t waste your time
weird, entertaining, and quite funny, but comes with its cons
this game is more absurd, funny, and a bit more mature compared to the average cookie run game, but serves for a fun experience. the gameplay loop can get really boring, but its a great game to play for a few minutes on break as your cookies keep fighting without you. however, the chat system in game is easily abused and censors licorice cookie and yesterday. the difficulty is also weird, as i could breeze through levels and then get stuck, often unable to get more summons. the game also burns through my battery really quickly, which could turn away those with weaker batteries, but the game includes a battery saver mode. the arena system is also not my favourite, especially since i cant figure out how to go back to opponents i went over previously, but im not a big fan of pvp in the first place TLDR: its a fun game, with absurd yet interesting characters, but its not a perfect game, with difficulty and pvp being my main issues. featuring an even less perfect chat system. it drains your battery, but there are ways to prevent this, still something to note. solid 4 to 4.5 stars
The chat issue
I have had no problems with this. Literally none. it doesn’t crash, it’s entertaining and I like the cookies, but omg the people in the international chat are constantly talking and I cannot mute the chat. It is very distracting and they keep linking discord chats which I think is a safety issue considering 13 year old could follow the link and go on an app they shouldn’t be using Also a large group of them keep roleplaying and calling the cookies attractive and just saying really weird things I think we should be allowed to disable the chat

It always crashes when I open the app but I’m sure the app will be great when they fix this
