Has all the books i want to read. Text to speech could use some work though...
Bad payment method
Only allow crypto and it changes every 20 minutes and takes forever to actually get credit for that. Can’t do PayPal or any other payment method that is over and done.
Loading
Everything was perfectly fine, however it suddenly stopped loading anything in the app and said retry your internet connection… the problem is that I have perfect internet connection.
What happened?????
This was a 5 star but suddenly the app changed appearance, logged me out, and lost the progress/names of more than 20 books I was reading on ongoing status. The only way it will accept a login is thru google but that must not be how I was originally signed in because all my bookmarks are gone. Devastated!

Extremely disappointed
I have been a long time user of this app and have been reading countless stories on here. However, now in order to unlock chapters for stories, which I have no issue with doing the only method to do so is to have a crypto wallet because the only payment option is for cryptocurrency. Previously, this was not the case, as I had purchased coins before in order to reach chapters however, now I no longer have the will you do so because I don’t have a crypto wallet nor do I want to set one up solely for the purpose of purchasing coins through this app so now the store that I’ve been reading I’m no longer able to continue reading because I do not trust this system that you have set up now. This is ridiculous frankly and genuinely upsetting because I’ve got plenty of stories on here that I’ve been reading and now I am completely unable to finish. Just a completely stupid decision to have this be your only option for payments.

Page turning
Can you fix the chapters that fit the whole screen? When I change from scrolling to page turning it looks weird. It’s like it only fit half of the screen.

This is my first ever review so i’ll keep it simple, the app is good no i am not a bot and no you won’t be “hacked” and no you don’t need to add your credit card info.
Forced Advertisements
Advertisements will intermittently pop up while you are reading. These ads are unskippable and take up the entire screen. Awful user experience in hopes of milking more money.
Color background
Please add back the choice to pick the hex code for the color background. It makes it alot more unique
Unable to use app
Initially I had an issue where the app would force close. That was resolved. Now I can’t use the app at all. Whenever I login it only shows the “last read” but no chapter and from there unable to select anything else. If I go to login in settings it will tell me “message failed” in Vietnamese.
Issues with audio
The app is ok. Interface is user friendly. The audio integration has issues: Bluetooth, Apple car play, AirPods controls - all broken.

Every time I try to login my previous account it says, Timeout of 10000ms exceeded
Infuriating
I regularly get kicked out of my account and the app seems to delete it. After being kicked out whenever I try to log in again it fails. It also fails whenever I try to recover my password (which I try in case that was the reason for the initial failed log in). Every time this happens I have to create a new account and loose all my saved books and places of the books I’m currently reading. If this didn’t happen I would give the app 5/5 stars but since it does, it’s pointless and I’m likely going to delete and use a different website instead of novelbin or its app.
I NEED a search option for searching via chapter amount
I’m an avid reader on this app and enjoy it thoroughly unfortunately short stories that are under 2000 chapters are quite common and i usually read those above 2000 chapters so a search option that allows a minimum number of chapters from a novel would be very useful😁

I was not able to download all available chapters of some novels Some novels in the caption or info have like 800 chapters but I was able to download 100+ chapters

Love the app but of recent there have been so many errors with the app, the downloaded chapters that are meant to be offline available are not showing unless the data is on

The app doesn’t even take me to a Home Screen, it just opens up to a black screen and then closes itself instantly.

It’s a great app but Keeps terminating itself every couple minutes, sometimes sooner.
Fix crashes
Good app and solid voice features but the amount of crashes and the fact that the audiobook features always start at the start of the chapter makes it extremely hard to use. Fix those issues and this app would be alot better.

Constant crashing
The app would be great if not for the constant crashing sometimes to the point of once every 2 minutes. The ads are excessive but I could get over it the crashing is a bit too much though. Please offer a ad free paid option.
How to use coins?
The app is pretty decent with a lot of new novels being updated, only problem is the ad which I got coins for but I don’t see how I can used them. Can someone help me?

Holy trash
First of all. What an absolute pathetic app. Trying to enforce notifications every time you open it. Secondly. Enforcing ads by interrupting the story? Get better. This app is abhorrent. The premise is wonderful but the execution is abysmal. Fix it or remove the app altogether it’s literally unusable. THE ADD FREEZE AND FORCE ME TO CLOSE IT DOWN.

All the voices are terrible and robotic. I haven’t found a single voice that sounds good what so ever but, at least I have the option to read it here myself .
Fix the text to speech part of the app please
The app is great, but the text to speech part ruins it for me. Every new paragraph or sometimes sentences the pitch and speech that I would change would be reset, as well as the text to speech voice would always reset to Gorgon.

Ads, crashes, and now they keep having “maintenance” on the site constantly to try and get more people on the app.

Could be better. The pitch and speed part of the audio reader is having problem. Sometimes the app shut down while I’m reading.
Best Free Novel App
I don’t usually leave reviews but this app has been a game changer for me. I don’t mind the ads at all, as long as I can continue to read the stories for free. The ads are always quick and don’t pop up that often. This app beats going to different websites/paying to unlock books. Love it!
Keeps crashing

Great app
I see many reviews that mentioned a terrible bug that crashed the app frequently. As of October 2025, I can confirm this bug has been patched! My favorite thing about this app is that it remembers exactly where you left off reading. If I was halfway through a chapter, when I reopen the app it opens at that halfway point instead of the top of the chapter. Great app from all I can see

Translation needs Improvement
Good app, but the translation feature needs work. When you select another language, it often eats up many paragraphs in the chapter, and the formatting is also incorrect. Sentences don't begin with capital letters. This didn't happen with previous versions.
