Still loving it after a year
I’ve been playing Animal Land for over a year and still genuinely love it. It’s beautiful, relaxing, and fun — I still enjoy checking in, collecting my crops, playing the event islands, and slowly making progress. I’ve reached Level 13 and unlocked almost all the land without spending any money, and I’ve never had to watch an ad either. I know the game has changed a lot recently, but personally I’ve really enjoyed the changes. After playing for so long, I was getting close to running out of things to do, so the new content has made the game feel fresh again. I also really appreciate how responsive and helpful the support team has been whenever I’ve had an issue. For me, it’s the kind of game that’s best enjoyed slowly, at your own pace. After more than a year, I’m still having fun and looking forward to what comes next.
Takes all your money
They do not listen to player feedback. They make levels unbeatable unless you’re willing to spend a lot of money. When all of their players complain, but a level is unbeatable they say they want it to be a little challenging. Which is their way of saying, give us all your money and maybe will let you pass it.

Update ruined it
This game was so much fun and entertaining and competitive. After their major update they basically ruined the game. I have no idea what is the point of the game anymore besides trying to spend heaps of money instead of spend time to farm. Boring now and quit what a shame developer ruined the game

最近始めたばかりですが、レベル4で区画が広げられず詰んでます。スコップ、ハンマーのアイテムで区画を広げる場所しかなく課金必須なのか、無課金はここまでってことですか？ 素材屋みたいなのがあるらしいですが、そこまでもたどり着けないです。 区画広げるアイテムがイベントなどで手に入ると嬉しいです。 ミニゲームはどれも面白くいい暇つぶしになって楽しいです

I love this game. It is really difficult to customize your island. It takes a really long time to get some of the materials unless you want to pay for them but still a great game.
My favorite game
I’ve been playing this game for several months now, and I literally log on and play several hours a day each day. It’s so relaxing and a great cozy game. I love that there are so many things you can do, without being “locked” if you don’t do certain things. The developers also take feedback seriously and are very helpful. Overall, it’s been a wonderful game to play and I enjoy all the different events, mini-games, and cute features.

What in the world. You guys made the game a capitalist hell!! Buy chickens buy cows, we’re no longer able to just fish. Where the heck are our plots of land? I’m sorry this is bad. We just need to go to before materials were required for unlocking land plots. WHY WOULD we want to sell 20 things at a TIME?!?!!!
Love this game would be 5 stars but….
I would give it 5 stars but certain functions aren’t working at all. For example I have the loom and over 300 grass but I cannot make string. It acts as if I don’t have enough and immediately directs me to the wishing well on the Home Island. Hoping these issues will be resolved soon. Other than that it’s great game and very enjoyable.

While trying to load the app this morning I keep getting “Your account has been logged in on another device.” And it won’t load, does this mean someone stole my account or is this a glitch?

Ruined their game for no reason
This latest update is an absolute disaster. First they removed all the stores and added this garbage crafting system. They undid so many upgrades I had already earned and made it way too complicated and difficult to earn anything. They also completely broke the event island in the process, there is just a completely blank screen. There is also no way to contact support for any of these issues in game. I used to play this game constantly, but now it’s almost unplayable. I don’t understand why they made the game worse for no reason
Fun game
I play every day. However almost every seventh day. It doesn’t give me my reward, it goes to day one. Otherwise I have no issues with it.
Claimed Gift Disappeared
I just clicked on the claim button and on the screen shown gift to be claimed. I dint claim and away from phone for other stuff. When I’m back and re-open the game, the gift to be claimed screen disappeared and nothing can be claimed and event ended. Please return my gift please, 30mins cloud, 30mins skate and 30 diamonds.
Love it, however
I absolutely love this game. I usually get bored with mobile games quickly but I’ve been playing this one for over 6 months. I’ve even spent my money on it. But I would love to see new islands with events and updates. I also don’t like how hard it is to obtain materials for expanding your island. I’ve been stuck on level 8 for a long time.
Cute Addicting Game
I’ve played this game for a few weeks now and I just find it fun and cute. They’re making more content consistently and I also don’t have to watch an AD every 2 seconds. Once I have some spare cash I’ll be putting something towards the game.
Cute
I like the game but you can’t progress. It’s been months of collecting materials and I have never gotten any of the tools to get to new areas and level up.
Amateur Development
Very fun in the beginning but the development team can’t handle development on two operating systems (iOS and android). Constant updates to make it way harder so you have to spend money. Horrible RNG on everything. NOT a kids game. Went from a relaxing game to a pay to play game.
Used to be fun
I have been playing for quite some time and found this game to be very fun, but it has become annoying since the backpack feature was added. I can no longer unlock plots on my home island because I need too many gold tools, I have 4 lots of land waiting to be unlocked but I need a total of 19 golden tools to unlock those plots. I get the same items over and over that are useless. Playing the same thing each week and not being able to make any progress on my home island is extremely frustrating. I would rather grind for gold coins like the old way. And I know the response will be “the overall difficulty to unlock plots should be easier than before”, yes it SHOULD but it is not. Because I have played so much already, and I typically buy passes and items weekly, I’m trying to hold on for a better update to fix this issue but I’m not sure how long I can wait. Please listen to your players, this same issue has been mentioned a lot by many players.
Fun until it’s not
I really enjoyed this game until the resources became impossible to obtain. I’ve spent multiple millions of medallions, selling stone and wood, to get the resources needed to expand my island and I haven’t gotten axes, pickaxes etc., once. It’s extremely frustrating. If there was a way to trade in multiple other resources to get other resources that would help. Really disappointed because I was really enjoying this game.

Game won't load
Haven't been able to even start the game. It kept getting stuck on the loading screen at 99% and stayed there. Too bad, it looked fun.
Great game
It gets better with all the updates and the seasons. I know there is a catalogue of fish. I think there should be a catalogue of birds also. Also if there was some type of option for a map either on the screen to click or in the phone that would be wonderful also.

magic is gone
this was my favorite game. I wrote the review that started "I'm afraid to say this," afraid that it'd change, and I'm sad to say that I was right. With these new updates, there is NO current way to unlock most land and barns. You now need "golden tools" instead of just coins from selling crops, and there's no way to get said golden tools. I've had the same main island for weeks and weeks. There is now no way to estimate how much time it'll take to unlock new land on your main island because it up to utter chance. You now need to sell your wood and stone in exchange for a kind of lottery system for different crystals. You used to just use your coin, wood, and stone. After spending all of the wood and stone I'd saved for weeks, I had 2/88 crystals to unlock a barn. There is no drive or motivation to keep playing, whereas I used to be able to see my progress and look forward to more. The psychology of this game is now that there's nothing to look forward to. And check the Discord; a lot of people feel this way. I'm just a writer lol so I can sort of put it into words. Every new update makes it more difficult to actually *play the game.* This game is supposed to be peaceful and pleasing. It was the BEST GAME I had ever encountered on the App Store before these updates and my favorite by far. We just want to farm, sell, and unlock new land and decorations. That is it. The home island and new fishing is cool but besides that I am actually on my hands and knees begging you to put my favorite game back together. Please please please. It is RUINED and I played it for HOURS every day and now I barely open it because I learned there is no point anymore. There's no replacement. Nobody is playing more often with these recent updates. Please please put it back!!!

I used to really enjoy this game. I played every day. But with the backpack update, things are getting steadily bad. This latest update changing the arena, which used to help when we got silver tickets and then just regular crops now it is just awful. I will be deleting it because it is getting worse not better.

The tournament for gathering makes absolutely no sense!!!How can I have nearly triple the power of my opponent and still lose!? Ruined my rank. Deleted.

I love this game, but with the last update all I get are crashes. I can’t even play the game without it closing over and over and over.
Lost all progress
Really enjoyed this game but was experiencing it crashing a lot so I had to uninstall and then reinstall, I lost all my progress AND the game continues to keep crashing and I cannot do anything at all so it’s entirely unplayable now:(

Freezes
I was able to play this game for two weeks with zero problems, for the last two weeks or so it has been freezing within a few minutes of gameplay. I will give it another week before I uninstall.
Updates
Love the game. But after this last update, my game will load to 99% and then never finished loading after that. I wish it would work because i genuinely enjoy the game. Hoping the issue is fixed soon.
Too buggy and crashes often
I quite enjoy the game and idea, and played for about a month but I can’t get over all of the visual and mechanic bugs that are becoming too frequent, and even more so now that I can’t even play after the recent Halloween update without simply crashing 10 seconds after loading the game without end. I’ve given up and deleted the game entirely, I really hope you’ll give fixing these issues priority before more players do the same as I did.

Since the last download, I am unable to get into the game… it keeps kicking me out.

Used to be a good game
Since the update of needing coins AND materials to expand land, this game has been very hard to pick back up. It’s almost impossible to do unless you play 24/7 or spend $100.
Game update
This was a great game until this last update. I downloaded it my game account won’t load on my iPad it crashes at about 50%. I’m also having problems with the animal card icon crashing and the zoom on my camera won’t work. Another issue is the golden tools that never show up. These items should not be on land tiles if they are going to be so rare. This is oct 7 got the response that an issue was fixed but the game is still crashing on my iPad when I log in with my account. October 20 - my iPad problem is fixed but my game is not showing my guild and the chat function is not working. I can’t see anybody’s comments or respond to anybody else.
New update is terrible…
This game was great! But with the new update it has made it impossible to get any event items unless you spend a lot of real cash. I spent hours everyday during the event and it ruined the game for me. Burned me right out. Also now you need special items to progress on your island by selling wood and rocks. Some of the items have such a small drop rate that it would take months to get IF you’re lucky. I know a lot of players have silently quit the game already. I will end up probably doing the same. Unless they fix it and fast! I also feel they should restart the event for the Halloween items as they scammed us on it. Hopefully they fix it and make it right by the players still playing.
Great
It’s a great game & I’m really enjoying it. What is annoying me though is you stand to break a rock or pick a fruit tree & your coins disappear into paying for a bit of land. There needs to be something where it asks if you’re sure you want to spend your coins there. It should say ok if you’re fine spending your coins or cancel if you don’t want to spend them. Hope this is something that’s sorted soon.
