Wonderful
I listen to one story before I go to sleep every night. The stories are calming and put my mind at ease if the day has been difficult. Listening to these stories reminds me that life is a struggle and our people have always overcome hardships. The struggle to remain righteous and resilient is stressed and this helps put things into perspective.
Continually being charged after ending subscription!!!
Very sad to see I am still being charged after I stopped the subscription. Be warned.
Out of order?
I was hoping for the option to listen to the stories in chronological order but there isn’t an option I could find for that in the app- is there an order? I don’t know enough to know- I think it would be great to have that option.
Terrible
These people are crooks, once you sign up for trial , they continue billing you non stop. Be careful, don’t sign up. The stories are short with no details what so ever.
Pronunciations Incorrect
I like the stories, but as a convert, the bad pronunciations are frustrating. I want names and everything pronounced correctly. It’s supposed to be a Jewish app, but in the story of Hannah, the narrator is pronouncing her name with a hard “ch” instead of the Jewish pronunciation of “ch.” Disappointing.
Torrah Stories
Great stories from the Torrah. They are refreshing and intructives for the soul! These stories can rewire the path of your daily living. Thank You Hashem for the Jewish People!
Scam - Beware!!
Ordered trial and they installed year subscription - I cancelled yet they never responded & they still took my money. When blocked by my bank they changed name to RevayahAppstoria to confuse the bank and started taking money again. Note: company is based in UAE.
Good overall, some room to improve
I am happy with this overall. It gives a quick overview of some favorite stories in easily digestible chunks. I’m neutral on the voice of the narrator, but I like the background sounds. However, I have two changes I’d suggest. First and most important to me would to have an option where it will let you move through a playlist without having to prompt it after each story. This would be even better if this could have some degree of customization, such as choosing the amount of time before it stops (30/60/90/120 minutes), or a set number of stories, or a list of stories (maybe preselected sets like the groups already available, or with the ability to choose stories or themes to add to your playlist), etc.; there are many ways this might be set up that would allow the listener to get more out of this. Listening to these really helps me when I’m struggling to fall asleep, except that having to select a new story every 7-10 minutes wakes me back up. And I have similar issues when I’m listening to these while doing chores, in that the frequent need to stop and select new stories gets frustrating. The other recommendation is to have more organizational options, preferably with at least one that would allow for moving through the Torah in order for people who want to use this to learn more, or get a condensed version of the weekly parsha, etc.
You should give a try without payment
Even 1 day, to check what we pay for
Langues
Dommage qu’on ne puisse pas changer la langue, je reviendrai quand il y aura le français.
Blessed Text
inspiring, calming sounds of the soul..
Bad customer service
Awful customer service. Cancel your membership, don’t pause it because it’ll automatically recharge you. Despite writing the company the same day they wouldn’t refund. Why ethical company would ever do this. The stories were just fine.
It works, there a lot of space to improvements
Subtitles would be very nice to non native speakers of English. Torah references of the stories should be convenient as well. Is missing a button to share a printscreen on Instagram, it would be a great free advertisement
No free option
It’s very sad I want to listen but app ask me to pay money, I even didn’t try it, and I have to pay money. No thanks. 2 stars just because someone made app with Jewish stories, thanks for that. And as a marketer I would recommend you to make a free version with ads or at least give 3-7 days for free and after ask money.
Not the best
I like this app. But I know it could be better. First thing is the person speaking doesn’t pronounce the Hebrew words correctly. Second I would like to see the audio divided by book, so I can follow more accurately. That would be great!
Well it’s Jewish stories and they are amazing
But how come I can’t search? I would like to be able to search… thank you
SCAM
ITS A SCAM!!! THIS APO WONT STOP CHARGING ME!!! HAD TO CLOSE MY CHECKING ACCOUNT TO GET IT TO STOP!!!!!!
Amazing stories to dream away
I really enjoy dreaming away and falling asleep with the Revayah App. Just one tiny little insignificant detail: almost all Hebrew words are mispronounced and when I am not tired enough to ignore it, it annoys me. Maybe it can be fixed for future recordings, because it is actually a no-brainer.
AI generated-bland and very slow speaking
It’s all feels like AI generated, the speech is extremely slow and bland. Didn’t really like it.
Excellent stories
Problems with pronunciation and correct those words cause it sound ridiculous to those of us who produce Hebrew - such as use of CH as ch like chocolate instead of the Hebrew sound of כ ח and other words Do an AI or Hebrew speaker dialect check
Recommended
These stories are read like sections of a novel. The pace is measured and the reading voice expressive and engaging. I really like the references to famous commentators such as Rashi.
False and deceptive advertising
In Hebrew we call false advertising גניבת דעת. They say that “as of today, Revayah is FREE.” It’s a free download like everything else on the App Store, but you can’t get past the first page without subscribing. A M-slim trying to deceive people using Jewish symbols and names is vile. Shame on you! As it turns out, the developer is a fraud and has no ties to the Jewish community: “Fazeel Jabbar Kadalakkaran is a United Arab Emirates-based app developer and trader operating out of Sharjah. He is best known as the registered developer of various AI-driven and audio-based mobile applications on the Apple App Store, including Revayah: Jewish Stories and Transcriba: AI Lecture Notes. His most prominent application, Revayah (which purports to offer short Torah and Jewish wisdom audio stories), has faced significant controversy and public backlash. Users, community members, and media outlets have heavily criticized the app as potentially fraudulent or misleading, citing inaccurate AI-generated Hebrew pronunciations, unauthorized use of AI-generated likenesses of Rabbis (such as Rabbi Manis Friedman), and reportedly deceptive billing practices.”
No videos and pronunciation is off
I was under the impression I can watch the videos with my daughters but there is only audio. Has potential but the pronunciation is off. Looking to cancel subscription
Good app but a bit expensive for not so many possibilities
Would be great to have a quick resume / statement regarding the title! Also, longer sound loop? Maybe reverse it at some point to make it different? And for some, choice of languages? Last: would be great to have different voices? Woman voice for the stories about women would be really nice!
Update! Company refunded and resolved issue. Beware! Took payment without authorization
. Still not happy with how I was charged. But issue resolved. I was charged a full year after choosing trial! Scam!!!!
*SCAM*ALERT*
Do not give them your credit card information. Even though I canceled this app for $6.99 for one month I have been billed every month since August 8 2025, either $24.99 or $39.99. This will not show up in your Apple receipts only in the spam portion of your email.
Pronunciation
Anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of Hebrew will probably be driven nuts by the inability of the reader to pronounce the Hebrew words with any semblance to what they should be. Update: I also cancelled my subscription a week ago and have yet to receive a refund.
NOT A JEWISH APP!!!
First, this is not a Jewish app, it is a messianic app. Second, they keep billing me, despite the fact that I canceled six months ago. Third, customer service is impossible to find and they make it very difficult. DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
Scam Charges
Spam/scam fake charges
SCAM - DON’T BUY
THEY CHARGE YOU EVEN AFTER TRIAL PERIOD EVEN IF YOU CANCEL. THIS IS MY THIRD MONTH IN A ROW HAVING TO CONTACT THEM AND DISPUTE CHARGES.
Buyer beware
This is a scam,I’ve been excessively charged
