This is one of the worst banking app in entire Indian banking system Roadside small shops applications will work more better than this
NRI Users with International mobile fails
Long way to go. IOB Connect registration using SMS from International mobile still failing. Not to mention for getting OTP SMS to work, had to visit branch 4 times to work with International mobile.
The app is not working if I use face id
The app throws an “Invalid biometric login attempt” error whenever I try to log in using Face ID. Face ID works correctly with other apps, but I’m unable to access the IOB Connect app using biometric login. Please fix this issue.
Enable UPI
Definitely the app design and Ui has got way better However with this new version. I’m not sure why the bank is pushing us to enable UPI I mean I don’t want that service. I want to just use the traditional features and that’s it. There is no skip or close for this and I’m unable to use the app hence the rating

Being a banking app , it is not loading pay from dropdown , unable to submit few complaints without attachment though the screenshot options are restricted for banking, I used many private bank but iob is not giving satisfied app , very unsatisfactory being a new user
No Sim Found
I have come to USA on holiday and find that I cannot connect to IOB connect after facial recognition. It says no SIM found. But for SBI Lite Yono app it gets connected after facial biometrics . I wish IOB Connect can do something about it which will be useful for customers going abroad.

Iphone application bug
Payee name cannot be added completely while doing positive payment using iphone. The application has restriction on number of letters.

The app is very user friendly and all the major services are available. There is hardly any need to visit branch. Extremely satisfied.

Unable to use app unless registered for UPI
Every time I open the it is forcing me to register for UPI service. Because of which I’m unable to use any features of the app. You can’t force the consumer to register for UPI. So please provide an option to close the UPI pop up and allow us to use the app.

I have been unable to register on this app for the past one month despite trying multiple times. The registration process consistently fails, making the app completely unusable. I have already tried all the basic troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked. Please fix this issue as soon as possible and improve the user experience. Kindly help me to resolve my issue

WHEN I WAS DOWNLOAD IOB BANK APPLICATION,ENTER MY ACCOUNT NUMBER SHOWING LINKED WITH MORE THAN ONE CUSTOMER ID KINDLY CONTACT BANK MANAGEMENT.I WAS NEVER CHANGE MY PHONE NUMBER,SINCE MY ACCOUNT OPENING.BANK MANAGER SAY WRITING REQUESTING LETTER,I WAS WORKING OUTSIDE TAMILNADU, WHO THIS RESPONSIBLITY. There is a lot of crowd in the branch, there are many works which have to be done in the branch itself but there is a lot of staff shortage.
Forcing to Register for UPI
The App forcing to Register the SB Account for UPI without which it’s not letting in to view the balance and do other transactions. Bank says Register for UPI and then delete the Account under BHIM UPI. How can Bank develop an App forcing customers to Register for UPI which amounts to arm twisting. Will be writing to RBI on this with copies to PMO and FM

Inconvenient
I can’t download my statement for my tax filing purposes. There’s a glitch and it is so inconvenient. I had to uninstall the app to check if this issue persists which unfortunately it does. Please fix your bugs
