Developer doesn’t fix anything
The circular saw looking bonus in the game has a loud sound effect 100% of the time, even if you turn all sound off. It’s been busted since the beginning and never fixed. Also, I’m a big fan of paying to remove ads. I’ll give you a few bucks for that, but 24.99? You have to be out of your mind to ask for that on an app where you can’t even properly silence elements.
Buggy
Fun game, but locks up sometimes after you’re forced to watch ads. App itself doesn’t freeze as it happens after you have the option to select a new perk. When the forced ad ends, you can tap to see some info about your ship, but can’t select a perk or do anything else to move forward.

Crashes regularly after Ads
So they added more ads after the update. And now, an ad shows up during the weapons upgrade screen just for choosing an upgrade. When it returns from the ad, nothing works. My screen doesn’t register a thing and it just freezes the game. So incredibly frustrating. Otherwise, fun game…. I’m at level 194.
Good enough, but could be better
Nice game I know all the other reviews hates the ads and I do agree for you to reduce the ads, but they don’t annoy me. I’m used to having ads now, but this game is really cool. There’s lots of neon effects and that’s it but you could add more to it new weapons drones, and more stuff. :)
Death by Ads
Unfortunately, Developers have recently added new ads that stop you playing the game mid-level. It used to only ask if you wanted to watch an ads to double your rewards or for upgrades. I am deleting the app as well. Another otherwise good games death by ads.
Needs more upgrades
Great and addicting game. BUT, it needs more upgrades. Even if it’s higher cost of boss cells. Desperately needs more. More inventory slots would be nice, or higher upgrades to the inventory options. Shouldn’t just cap out.
Has potential but…
This game is incredibly boring. Championship Rush is the only thing worth playing and it’s so buggy it’s stupid. Latest update has it freezing after picks. And don’t think about using special weapons in late rounds because it can bog it down and freeze there too. Fix that and created more types of game play and you might have something.
Crashing
Hi this is a good game to waste some time but it does tend to crash at key moments of upgrading, after or during adverts, etc. also it’s not easy to find tech support.

Poor adaptive behavior
Unfortunately, this game has an adaptive scaling that ends up hurting progress and leads to frustration. The more you upgrade the harder the enemy health is. Leading to pointless upgrades and a seeming endless dark tunnel. In order to make the game playable, we should be able to upgrade without the penalty of having the enemy upgrade on the same level as well. Should be simple, each level is harder, and you get rewarded for going up through purchasing upgrades.
Need more content
Great game that needs more content, more module slots, more abilities.
Fun but
The ads make you restart the game. Fix the bug. I can’t be the only one experiencing this. It is a fun game.

Might as well be a slot machine
I got to level 150 and deleted and started over. I’m now on level 5 and when I first got here asteroids were ~100hp. I leveled my ship up to 75 and now asteroids are ~2.5k, same level 5 and now I can’t even get to the final boss 🤣 Fully controlled by algo, levels mean nothing, all to push ads. Kills the game one you realize this.
Daily Reset
This game is ok, you can play without ads by just disconnecting it to wifi and turning off the access to cellular data. But can the developers change the daily reset from 24hrs to a fixed time?
Hours of fun
There’s a certain purity of design in space shooters like Neon Wings. They can be as abstract as needed in the service of gameplay. Busting asteroids with missiles and lasers? Sure. A spaceship that can swing a sword? Also good. The glowing vector graphics fit the bill, and the music is fantastic. You typically pick 10 or more upgrades during a single run, and it’s great fun exploring how these can change up how you play and how they interact with each other. This was worth the premium price to enjoy fully without ads.
The adds ruin the game
Every few adds the game glitches out and I have to restart every time I’m doing good aswell this game needs a. Update

Please update the game add more skills to spend the boss cells I have a ton and as I go higher on the missions it gets harder but I can’t upgrade my plane anymore than the main upgrade no more slots for boss cells I still give it a 5/5

Very good game if you can/want to pay
This is a very fun game with a surprising amount of depth/upgrades. However the problem is if you can’t afford to pay to remove all the ads it slaps you with an ad quite literally every minute or so during the middle of games which a lot of the time gets you killed. And of course it’s not even a quick ad either, you have to wait like 30 seconds then hit the X, then wait a few more seconds then hit another X, then wait a few MORE seconds and hit YET ANOTHER X. All of that just to get rid of one singular ad, just to get another a minute later. This is completely unacceptable and in my opinion makes the game unplayable. Which is really unfortunate because again I quite like this game otherwise. Without the mid game and post game ads this game would be an easy 5 stars!

Purchase Doesn’t Removal Ads
There’s 2 offers for removing ads. The first is for play through, the second is for rewards. When purchasing both, the ad for chrome persists. The reason for getting chrome is to remove ads. This ad pops up at start up and after each play (win or lose)

This was a fun game - kept it in rotation and played for well over a year here and there.... started playing it more recently and then FORCED ADS started appearing - multiple times per game :( Sorry - I was happy to watch rewarded ads but forced ads - no.... Deleting the game - you lost a fan - too bad it was pretty cool before we got greedy :(

You don't receive items even after you watch the ads, so don't even bother. App crashes and loses your upgrades constantly
Good, but
Addicted to this game currently, but easily end up trapped in some levels for days at a time which is boring. Feels like I can upgrade my damage/fire rate 10x and still the algorithm just makes the game harder to match my upgrades. Therefore, trapped in a level for ages! Otherwise love it, simple and addictive. Ads are pretty much optional which is nice.
Constantly begs for money
Relentless ads shape a dull nickle and dime experience with little to no reward for repeat casual play. Tasteless ads and rewards are pathetic even if you pay. Full game unlock is $35 bucks
Ok game, but ……
It’s a fun game but every time you upgrade your ship the game is made harder so you can’t progress in levels, so you end up with a ship which is ten times more powerful then when you start the level but the game is scaled up so you can’t progress.

Disruptive game flow
I would give this more stars, but the constant interruptions in game flow, including to play ads in the middle of a level, makes this game a pain.
