What people like
- Daily nutrition score encourages healthier eating habits
- Food recognition is surprisingly accurate and easy
- Interface is user-friendly and customizable
What they complain about
- Hard to edit food portions after logging
- AI takes too long to analyze photos
- Forces payment immediately with no free trial
- Cannot delete your account or data easily
Good to encourage lazy buzz to track their meals
its all good except theres no option for de-skin
The data base stop updating
The app stop updating and I found out after paying renewal annual fee, no matter what you wanna search from database, it shows “banana” forever. Don’t pay for this app
Bit buggy recently
Great app but the search is not working rn
Need to Improve
Good Reconition of Food using AI However, 1. Limit customisation of Daily Macronutrients Intake, After initial setup , At least i hav ea choice to follow a plan or change the plan according to my personal needs? 2. AI Recognition of Food takes long time to do and need to press back in to confirm the food. 3. Initial setup directly hit to Payment shbscription options which is NOT acceptable .AT LEAST i have some of the free function to try before payment ? EG. Limit token in scanFood with AI , only record calory but unable to record marcronutrients for free user . AND user are prompt to Pro user subscription option only when the function they want to use ? 4. There is no user feedback option in the setting page ? How can user give feedback to the app for further development ? 5. There are only activity level choices , but realistically for some people under weight Training , the recommended intake for macronutrients are different? 6. There is no Customisable Food Panel , If i have my own milkshake , i need to creat my own food database for logging for future use instead of manually typing
Very useful
This app is very useful and very convenient and very user friendly
Suggestion
Need more localisation to Asia/ HK diet + app optimisation
Great objectives, had fun during the trial analyse my food, didn’t continue the sub for these two major reasons. My 2 cents to make this even better - - Battery drop from 91% to 87% after I uploaded my full day’s diet images, does appear to me the model is not optimised yet. - The search food directory is not localised, not even including all the veg name that we can see in the supermarket 👀
Body fat rate
Recommend can add body fat rate & target fat rate to enhance better target achievement 🥰
Poor experience and unable to delete my account after unsubscribing this app
I paid annual fee of HKD388 for the app to force myself strictly record my dining habits, however, it would only work for those who are self-disciplined. Think twice before you subscribe. I found the photographing function did not work smoothly or take pictures well. Sometimes, the pics are blurred and this app failed to detect the calories. Most of the time, i need to type in what i had for a meal, which is highly disappointed with this app. After unsubscribing this app, there is no way to delete your data and your account as NO SUCH BUTTON CAN BE FOUND ON THIS APP!!! Even i tried to search the contact for this app via google, no contact or enquiry form can be found or sent!!!
UI easy to use but no editing option
It cannot edit the food content after uploading the picture.
Need some improvement
I quite like this app interface. Also like the photo taking feature so it’s easy. But I think it only read Chinese and English label. Also I cannot adjust the portion after and make it really annoying. I also cannot copy and paste the food everyday make it impossible to use so I won’t recommend it for now
Perfect for diary
Personally I have mental health issues but this app helped me a lot . It helps me to keep a daily routine for good. I know this app is not a peices of cake but huge data storage. Perfect working ethics 💡
It’s useless to me
The functions are simple and just for documentation purposes. Others diet app could help more than this one. And this one is expensive. You can find on other apps for free.
So far so good
Adjust the portion
I hope you can let us adjust the portion of the food we searched
Incredibly slow and impossible to use
Every picture takes forever to load. Don’t be scammed by the instagram reels, it’s edited and skip all the nonsense waiting. If you want to trace your calories intake every meal three meals a day. This is impossible because you’ll have to reupload or retry the app every other 15 mins or longer when it try to even just upload the pic, not to analyze it. Requested to refund in the first week but boy hardly you can reach a real customer service ever. Good luck using it or all other so called self learn ai app the cofounders made. Completely rubbish
Some advices of HealthMaxx
I can’t add extra food info in the previous diet It would be better if add this function
LOST 2kg in 1 month
I lost 2kg fat in 1 month following the app's diet. It takes a week to get used to, but you soon build the habit of tracking every meal. Food and calories detection works much better than other apps, and love the daily score which shows you which parts of the diet to improve. Would recommend!
Very useful!
I absolutely love this app! It has helped me stay on track with my fitness goals! I highly recommend it to anyone looking to improve their health!
Violate policy
It violates the policy. It collects all my data then forced me to subscribe. I can’t access and delete my account if I dun subscribe the plan
Effortless calorie tracking 🤩
It makes tracking calories feel fun and rewarding. The interface is super user-friendly and I personally LOVE the customisable features that allow me to set goals and track my progress. Perfect for anyone serious about their health and fitness journey!
bad user experience
I couldn’t edit the amount of food that I log except the presets on the app, NOT USER FRIENDLY AT ALL
Great calorie app! 🍎⭐️
Absolutely adore this app! Help me make healthy choices every day. The ingredients extraction is surprisingly accurate.
builds sustainable healthy habits
the nutrition score idea really pushes me to eat more vegetables and eat healthier in the long run. fantastic idea.
