Great for bed time, peaceful, and the most cheapest trial I have seen. great app hope you use it thank you Theo, may god bless you all.
Bible app should be free
As soon as I saw I had to pay, I felt scammed. That’s not how Bible apps work.
Fun connection time
The app has several things to experience. There's stories that teach important gospel principles with humor that had my little girl laughing a lot. It warms my heart listening to the meditations and the good influential things to help my daughter to think about and feel. Super big fan of working with Theo!
Not update in the donkey jokes
We subscribed because my son really enjoy the content, but we were expecting for more new jokes from the donkey too bad the jokes are always the same.
Voice change
What happened to the regular voice during tonight’s reading? It sounds very AI today (8/26/26) versus how calming the other female voice sounds. My daughter doesn’t like it now :( this is our nightly routine and now I’m not sure.. please use the other female voice. This one is so artificial and almost sarcastic in tone.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a really great experience with Theo and their customer support! I accidentally ended up with a subscription without realizing it, and when I reached out, they were so kind and helpful. They canceled the subscription and processed my refund right away with no hassle. I really appreciate how quickly they responded and how understanding they were. Thank you for the amazing customer service! 🤍🙏🏼✨
No Response to My Refund Request
My subscription was automatically charged after the free trial ended. I did not intend to continue with the paid subscription. As soon as I noticed the charge, I contacted support and requested a refund, but I have not received any response yet. Please respond to my request. I really need my refund and would greatly appreciate your help in resolving this as soon as possible
Great app for kids
This is a wonderful app for introducing kids to Bible stories and helping them grow in their faith. The content is engaging, well-designed, and my child really enjoys using it. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is because the app can be a bit buggy. Sometimes when I open it, none of the buttons or features respond, and I have to completely close and reopen the app a couple of times before it works properly. If the developers can fix those technical issues, this would easily be a five-star app. Overall, it’s a fantastic resource for families who want to help their children learn about God in a fun and meaningful way.
AI👎🏼
I don’t let my kids listen to AI. Sad it won’t work for us.
Unauthorized charges
Please refund subscription! This was an unauthorized charge! For $60!!!! Really?
Help
I haven’t been able to login and have been waiting for assistance via email. I love the app, when i can actually use it.
My Daughter LOVES this app
My 4 year old has been using it for a couple months and literally asks to do it every night before bed and grown to like going to church more as well!
So much AI
I was excited to find a new app to encourage my son through the faith. If I’m going to pay for an app I think I’d expect the app to also pay artists instead of using AI to create content. There are so many incredible Catholic artist out there. I’ll come back when there’s less AI content. 🩵
Theodoro
Kids love it but need to fix glitches
Content is amazing but too many glitches lately. Fix the technical stuff so we can enjoy the app again.
I feel that this app has scammed me.
I used it ONCE during a free trial, signed up by accident, and forgot about it. Got charged, but they refuse to refund me.
Glitchy on paid version
It’s a good app just very glitchy since I paid and games offered on free/trial versions are unavailable on the paid one
Love
My 5yo puts Theodore to bed each night then listens to one story and is asleep! This app has been so nice for her to settle her mind and for us to have a peaceful end of the day. Her one request is more Theodore stories :)
Disappointed
Very disappointed with the removal of several of the short videos. My Grandchildren are not enjoying the new videos the same - they have seen the movie and don’t need to keep watching same content
Love the app but too many glitches
We love this app so much that we decided to buy the full version but there are so many glitches. Theo randomly starts speaking Spanish. The same stories, gospels, jokes and affirmations are always the same and keep rotating so the kids are starting to get bored of it because she isn’t really anything new. They have been loving the 40 day challenge though!!!
Good concept, floppy execution
The idea of the app is great. Helping kids learn to pray, learn about Jesus, and listen to stories about Jesus is a brilliant idea. Overall the concept and design of the app is really nice - especially the UI. However, as you can probably tell from my 2-star rating, things aren’t exactly smooth sailing around here. The app has far too many issues and bugs that sometimes make whole sections of the app unusable. To begin, the virtual pet Theodore has a major issue - it only wakes up around 30% of the time, even when way past the 12 hour sleep time. I think this may be because I have 2 child profiles on the app, as usually only 1 (and on occasions, none) of the donkeys work. When past the sleep timer and opening the app, the timer seems as if it’s forgotten that it already ended 8 hours ago, and it starts again. This can lead to the donkey being in a ‘coma’ for days, potentially a week. Other times it seems to forget to reset the status of the tasks, so it says that all tasks are completed (even when the app was just opened). In addition, the app freezes randomly on occasions (~15-20 minutes). Sometimes I’m scrolling through some stories and the app freezes randomly - not sure what the reason for this may be. Finally, Theodore (virtual pet) needs to be improved. To begin - what is the point of the 5 minute timer? There’s only 5 tasks, each about 30 seconds long. The customization is mediocre - just a bunch of 2D sprites layered on one another. Inspiration for this could be from ABC’s Reading Eggs - which my kids have spent lots of time on. However, this would require a major rework. Another issue with Theodore is that the Tonight’s Readings and things next to it (that section, not sure how to describe but you know what I mean) gives you the bread even if you’ve only listened to about… 0% of the story? You can just click in and out and you can collect your carrots. That is, carrots or bread? It seems from my understanding that the source of “money” in the game has recently changed from carrots to bread - but in the daily rewards for Theodore, the asset used for the rewards are still… carrots? And all this is only accessible if your donkey isn’t in a week-long coma or forgetting the fact that it’s a new day and the tasks need to be reset. To conclude, it’s a great concept - but poorly executed. Let’s hope these bugs get squished soon!
Could be better
Not enough stories, didn’t see any stories about Jesus himself which I thought there would be. I also wasn’t happy about the responses for questions & answers when a child asks if pets go to heaven, and they said no, as our family lost our dog, and it is taught that yes our pets go to heaven.
Love this app
My kids and I love this app. It helps them calm down and stick to our bedtime routine. They love falling asleep to the meditation and music
App does not refresh or in correct language
App does not refresh for correct day and the langiage is in correct and the o do key does not work
Me encanta
Disappointed
This app started out well. It had Old Testament stories and new testament readings. The Old Testament readings were a bit watered down for my taste, so I didn’t mind when they disappeared from the app. But today the gospel readings are gone too. I really wanted an app with direct Bible content and teaching for bedtime with my kids and this just isn’t it anymore. I may cancel my subscription. 😞
Great framework
Great ideas not enough content. The content also gets stuck after stories are done. Not worth the subscription. Get hallow instead. I wish I could get a refund for this. The word “mulatto” is also used which is considered a derogatory word when referring to St Martin de Porres. Please refer to him as biracial or something else g
Theo is really out here helping families!
I saw this app today and thought to myself how wonderful it would be for my son to use this. I didn’t realize that it was a paid app. At this time, I don’t have it in my budget to add in something else. I saw where they offer scholarships to families and reached out and was shocked that they are happy to help me and my 13 year old! I am so grateful! Being a teenager of this age is hard and even more of a challenge with autism and Adhd. I want my son to be able to grow in Christ and I am so happy to include this in our daily routine now!
Disappointed
Really liked the app until it signed me out and then told me my password was incorrect. When I tried to update the password it tells me it’s sent me an email that never comes and all the customer support sends you to the website where all you can do is sign up it buy it for someone as a gift. Now I’ve spent $80 and cannot use the app. Very disappointing.
Need help!
We really love the app and my daughter highlight of the night is interacting with Theo, but for the last 4 days he has been sleeping with no way to reboot him. Can I please get some tech support?
Subscription.
Was sad when I downloaded, filled everything out and then it asked which subscription I wanted. I was hoping it was free.
Good content, interface not quite there yet
I’m loving the app but I’m struggling with the interface. My kids have a google chrome in their room and that’s how I would play the meditations which are great as they really relax them. Only problem and reason I cancel my subscription is that it doesn’t have an easy button to integrate directly from the app to a speaker or a device, like for example Spotify and I only want the app connected, not the rest of my phone. Also I found it a bit annoying or at least it doesn’t work for me that you need to keep pressing continue to the daily routine why can’t it play automatically the whole day. It would make it easier otherwise I have kids shouting from the other end of the house, interrupting that they were about to fall asleep, telling me if I can play another. If you fix those things I’ll definitely subscribe again as content is good.
A beautiful app for families
Theo has been such a wonderful help for me and my daughter. It makes prayer and meditation easy, peaceful, and engaging for children. We enjoy using it together, and it has helped Sophia learn about prayer while giving us special moments to connect with God and with each other. I’m very grateful for this app and highly recommend it to other families!
Not recommend
Everything except music doesn’t want to work. Waste of time to figure out what is going on and why doesn’t work.
Too expensive
I am a Catholic school teacher and I would love to use this app within my classroom but the fee is way too expensive for me. I hope you will offer free premium access for Catholic school educators
Improvement Needed
I love this app but the content isn’t enough. I subscribed for a year and the stories and affirmations are repetition. I thought we’d have a new one for each day?
Peace
The bestia way to get closer to God and know more about him and rey Virgin Maria
Wishy-Washy on Faith
I was hoping that it would be a lot more faith based for bedtime and affirmations. They were both far more self esteem focused and not focused on God or Christ in our life. I was very disappointed. I am using the Abide app which is much more Christ-centred.
Bueno
Have to pay
App was free and said there were some free features. So, I tried it out. Somehow it began a year subscription without me asking to and I ended up paying (I’m requesting a refund since I didn’t try to buy it!). There was a bit of free content but I don’t know that you can just stick with that and no subscription.
Animation
I expected more animation with in bible stories
