Haiku games are always the best!
I have been playing haiku escape games since they were individual apps and the AE mysteries came along and is the best app with amazing games. I think HAIKU games are the best and offer quality games. This app is no different, there is quality and cool games however the reason I am not as in love with it is because the mini puzzles are awesome but the actual investigation kinda runs for you. I wish it was more interactive where I can deduce who the suspects are and who I think did it or allow me to deduce by the clues I collect. I think the game could have been immensely better that way.

Always impressed by Haiku
This is an interesting way to divide up the puzzled vs. The mystery and story. You spend stars for clues and you gain stars by doing puzzles so you can stock up on stars and play through an entire chapter, or you can do each at an incremental rate. With their other games, sometimes you get stuck on one puzzle which halts the game. Still fun, but sometimes it’s take a couple days so the story is a little detached. I’m impatiently waiting for chapter 11 to release 😆
No me gusto mucho
Por lo general me parecen interesantes casi todos los juegos de Haiku, este en particular no me gusto para nada. Me aburrieron los diálogos sin “búsqueda” Mi favorito de Haiku es Haunted Hunt, de todos los que tiene es el único del que estoy enamorada, es una pena que no tengan nada siquiera similar

So boring
This game is awful compared to other games by this developer. I really dislike how the puzzles are not at all related to the story and you only do the puzzles to spend on stars to complete story actions. There is no logic or deduction involved in solving the mysteries or interacting with the environment of the story, it’s just a story with irrelevant repetitive puzzles that you need to complete to watch it play out. Disappointing but still I’ll look forward to the next games that Haiku releases
bugs v5.01
this update erased my puzzles progress. now it starts at level 1, I finish that one, the next one is still level 1. 2020 ipad 7, latest ios compatible. Please fix this otherwise enjoyable game. Thanks!

Bait and switch
The puzzles are kind of boring but the worst part is very typical. It lets you play for a little while then you have to either watch advertisements or pay real money to buy stars. Unless you are into that don’t even bother with this game!!
Fun but could be better
The puzzles are fun but the game would be even more fun if part of it included actually examining evidence and truly “solving” the cases.
Been playing Haiku Games for years
This new style is not Haiku that we all know and love. Please reconsider this change. Its a lazy style and has no character. By the time we finish one game we have to wait for the plays to add back up and by then some of us already forgot the storyline. Its not enjoyable. I miss the feeling of going on an adventure in the old Haiku Games. It was a beautiful journey that took skill and determination. I felt accomplished after completing the different puzzles and loved reading the complex mysteries. Please we beg you.

Macht Spaß und ist abwechslungsreich
Das Spiel ist toll, aber leider kann man einige Rätsel nur freischalten, wenn man Pässe kauft. Das finde ich grundsätzlich nicht schlimm - ich bezahle gerne für Spiele die ich mag und die ohne Werbung auskommen. Aber es wäre mir lieber einmal eine feste, absehbare Summe zu bezahlen, als immer wieder bezahlen zu müssen.
Not much skill needed
Unfortunately, this is nothing compared to the regular Haiku Games which are really fun. I played this for about an hour and it was just tedious. Mostly just leading you along the way without actually choosing much of anything. The puzzles themselves are way too simple. This basically consists of a bunch of screen tapping without any real choice in the story development along with no challenge to the puzzles. Lots of “options” though, stars, coins, passes, rewards, boosts, and some diamond key or something.

Puzzles are fantastic and great update so you can play even after completing the stories. However having played through the puzzles, I can’t earn the stars to work through the Gold Pass and unlock the remaining ones.
Haiku!
EDIT* I’m revising my review. Episode 1-8 puzzles were doable, and with more bombs/ useful gifts. Not the ridiculous (see a whole colour solution of triangles for 2 seconds). In case 9..they’re almost impossible. Almost all of them are timed! I wasted 13+lives trying to complete..coloured triangles..shapes, and face logic. I’ve completed all of the more doable ones. I’d have to purchase even more coin. With the V.I.P. Pass..$7.*3..$12.+ to unlock it..3.99*2…for coin.. It’s getting too expensive..They should take the timer off. I want to be able to enjoy it..not hate it.
Problem with purchase
I’ve tried to buy the gold pass and every time it comes up with an error code 11.1022 It’s been like this for 2 weeks. Really frustrating, now I’m at the end and only have 8 minutes to get all unused bonuses!
Best storyline ever
I love the storyline because its really creative and fun but i realized theres only ten cases and im already in the fifth and it gave me a notification that said giving a review helps make more cases and puzzles so i hope this dedicates to making it longer
Locked out of puzzles
I finished all the released cases and I thought I was going to be able to work on the puzzle portion but there’s absolutely nothing I can do now. What’s the point of a game you can’t even play?
Super addicting fun game but…
I really enjoyed the game. However there were a couple things that really annoyed me that you need to change. 1. Free 5 minute unlimited play timers after finishing a level BUT you have to speed read a whole cutscene and do a hidden clue search before you can use it so if you are really fast you can finish with 3 minutes left of the 5. That’s dirty. 2. Once you finish the rewards thing you have 10 minutes to claim all the prizes or you lose them. Dirty again. I had to play 45 mins worth of 15 min unlimited plays that I had accrued when I was supposed to be going to sleep. Why would you make people lose the prizes? Makes no sense. 3. Ya I finished all the cases but I should still be able to play what’s left of the puzzle games with my ‘plays’ that I have remaining and collect stars while I’m waiting for a new case, or some other kind of endless thing to do in the meantime.

It’s unfair that the reward track expires only 10 min after completing, and there is no way to get the diamond key afterwards. We shouldn’t be permanently locked out from puzzles and there should be an option to buy access later if we so choose
Please more Face Logic puzzles!

I like how you have to really think each logical step through, not just simple one dimensional puzzling.
Mostly fun
I like this game. It's mostly fun but I don't like the timed puzzles. I find them too stressful which makes it not fun. Take out the timers and it would be great!

Solito gioco a tempo per spingerti a spendere per poter giocare. Senza contare che alla lunga è ripetitivo. Purtroppo da quando avete deciso di monetizzare, la qualità dei vostri giochi è calata parecchio.
Keeps the mind active
I enjoyed the game, but got locked out when finished the last case. It would be good to be able to do the puzzles we already completed, all we can do is review the cases not the puzzles while we wait. it would be also great to put a link in the settings button for support or help etc, also why do I have to put a nickname before submitting this review?

Love but Want to be able to play puzzle when there is no cases
I like this game. Got disappointed when i did all cases but can’t still play puzzles. We could be banking stars each day while we wait for you to make next case. Other then that enjoyed it. I am a fan of their adventure escape games this was a good filler game while i wait for the next escape game to come out.

Good while waiting
So far reasonable. Not up to Haiku game level. However I have an accuracy bone to pick. Breaking the glass to steal the guitar you said it was heavy safety glass. Safety glass crumbles it doesn’t leave jagged edges.

No matter what I try I cannot. move the people to get out. It’s extremely frustrating. I did it the first time but can’t get past the second one.

No Challenges
I love games with a storyline but nothing beats games that have puzzles within them. I don’t want to do 10 rounds of a game, be cut off, then be told a story that I’m going to forget by tomorrow because there’s no puzzles. (other than the optional ones we are limited to)
New logic games, lots of fun
I’m about halfway through the game and love it. First, no technical issues. Second, the games that you play to earn stars to “solve” the cases are different from nearly any I have played. They all require logical thinking to solve, start out easy and get more challenging. I’ve had to use boosters on a few, mainly because I lost patience. They say every game can be solved without using the boosters. Each game has 3 levels, I think 10 or so rounds per level. The cases you solve are the weak part of the game; they are just a vehicle to get to play more of the logic games. You tap on different locations and read the dialogue as the investigators interview suspects or look around for clues- you don’t have to figure anything out, just go through the scenes. You play the logic games to earn stars that allow you to go through the scenarios. Surprisingly, the dialogue isn’t bad, albeit a little cheesy. So far I’m enjoying this game immensely. Really enjoying the quantity and quality of the logic games.

Not used to these games by haiku
Sadly this game is not the traditional game haiku creates, murder mystery, need to work out things and really use your brain in solving puzzles, this is to much of a narrative and is boring…. I always wait for Haiku games to be released and this feels like it’s for a literal 4 year old… sad .
Game player
This is a great game. Better than match 3, with a variety of puzzles to keep you interested, but the speed your lives run out is way too quick. After only 5 attempts it’s necessary to either spend money or wait half an hour for lives to replenish. A guaranteed way for me to lose interest and delete the game. A great shame.
