Fantastic
The solution I needed for my phone addiction. Within 24 hours I cut my time online down over 50% and now I'm working on minimizing phone pickups. I can't believe this app is free. I've paid too much for apps that promised me so much less.
Slecht
Kon opeens geen andere apps meer verwijderen toen ik deze app had geïnstalleerd …..
Help me with this please
I came to know abt foqos from mrwhosetheboss video it is one of the best app in ios for digital detox that too without a pay wall thanks a lot dev The issue is even when i set a profile with hard strict block with all rigid settings on i can go into settings then into app section and turn off screen access of foqos,if i can block settings than this way out can be stopped but i dont see settings as a app to restrict Can you help me with this please
War einmal gut
Funktioniert jetzt nicht mehr und ich kann keine einzelnen Apps mehr auswählen. Schade
Wish I could give 5/5
Such an amazing tool! Really worked for me for weeks and weeks but it no longer blocks Instagram for me, rendering the tool so much less useful for me
Love this app
I didn’t want to pay for a physical phone brick, and I love this app’s features! Even on free only, it’s helped me cut down my screen time significant more than relying on the ios app limits.
Almost perfect
Hands down the best screen time app I’ve tried - far better than Jomo for me. The strategies are more refined, and manual pausing is implemented extremely well. My favorite is Temporary Access Plus QR, but unfortunately it seems bugged in the latest version: setting a timed pause doesn’t actually unlock the selected apps, so only the QR code can pause the session. If this gets fixed, Temporary Access Plus QR would easily be my favorite screen-time strategy of any app.
Meh
Irritating, unresponsive and temperamental app. I want to be able to set up one nfc tag to start the focus session the a different tag to end the session. Instead I keep getting notified that the tags I w set up aren’t allowed to end sessions. The tag for bedtime for example can only be unlocked by a work focus tag, and one work focus tag apparently isn’t allowed to do anything. I now have tags everywhere so it’s a tedious game of ‘find the tag to turn this session off’ which is really unmotivating. Currently looking for an alternative app.
Good idea and free
Nice idea and great that’s it’s free and open source but sadly even after the timer was finished it still locked me out of my apps, turned them off being blocked in the app and then had to run another timer to get them to actually unblock. Doesn’t seem to work then so deleted.
Great app, incredible that it’s free
Feature request: ability to copy/duplicate profiles. I want the same profile to re-trigger at different times cause I often unset the one I set for bedtime and want a second one as a reminder.
Does what it needs to do
No blocking issues/bugs. Works great for temporary blocks. The only thing is that you can’t set more than one schedule so if you want your device to be blocked 8-11am AND 1-6pm but NOT 11am-1pm, you can’t do that. That was the only annoyance but everything else works great!
Adding qr again n again is boring
Add features that is remember qr for start But to stop physical qr must be needed
One tiny oversight
Foqos has added a new mode called “Temporary Access + NFC” that gives you multiple opens for blocked apps during a session. While the mode is great, when you set this mode to trigger on a schedule (for example weekdays 9am-5pm) the multiple opens go away. So it becomes like the regular NFC mode with no breaks which sucks. The mode is new so hopefully this bug will be fixed soon; I set all my sessions on a schedule so they automatically trigger without me having to do anything, so it would be helpful if this was fixed.
How is this free
The fact this is free and on the Apple Store is unbelievable
Nützliche App
Perfekt in Zusammenspiel mit Apple Kurzbefehlen. Leider gibt es aktuelle Schwächen mit neuen Beta Funktionen.
Problem
Get up but recently whenever I go to lock my apps my messages, notes, and camera app go blank and I can no longer open them from my Home Screen. I have tried to report the issue however it won’t let me as the “page is not found”. The apps aren’t selected to be locked or anything and it isn’t limited to one Foqos it’s all of them. If you see this can you please fix it? As I have the newest software update on both my phone and the app
W
Better that brick
Great app just wish it wouldn’t block messenger with Facebook
Couldn’t bring myself to spend 90 bucks plus postage on a piece of plastic and so glad I didn’t cause I found this app. The only thing that’s annoying is my messenger app is blocked because I block the Facebook app and I guess they are connected.
Good but needs work!
Love the basics of the app ie blocking apps etc. BUT it would be helpful if we could choose more precise schedules. Such as: from 6am-10am , the apps are unavailable, but then from 10-11am, they’re open, and then from 11am-midnight they’re blocked again. And also would be good if the break could be accumulated. ie I take 10 mins now, then in 3 hours I take 10 mins, and it all is added to my 30 min break in total thru the day. Cuz I might not want to use my entire 30 mins but I want to take 30 mins MAX total through the day, but then I end up taking more time in total because it’s not counting the accumulated time in separate breaks…
Life changer
This app has changed my life thank you so much for creating this and making it free and accessible to everyone I truly have taken back control of my life
Nearly perfect!
Great App! The only feature I would like to be changed is how you start a session. It would be better to be able to start a session without having to use the physical blocker. Because when I have to use the blocker to start, I am still having it there while my session. So the it is very easy to unblock. Like that it is harder to start a session than to stop it. And the whole point of a physical blocker is to have it easy to start a session and hard to unblock the apps.
Great when it bc works
I love this app and it’s helped with focus but I have a problem. I have set an automatic focus session daily during breakfast time but it only comes on automatically occasionally and it’s frustrating.
Awesome
Was frustrated by the lack of automation features in Brick, this does exactly what I want instead. Thank you for making this!
Helpp
Nfcs not picking up automatically since new update. Used to be able to scan nfc tags outside the app and the block would start automatically
Best app
Really cool idea and perfect execution.
Good
Would be great to have an option that it automatically reblocks after say 10 minutes unblocked
Great concept
This app seems like a really great concept but it still blocks apps that I specified as “allowed” such as Spotify
Scored 10 Points Higher than avg on my med school exams
this app has single handedly improved my grades without feeling like I am missing out on socials
Great app, few minor issues
Thanks for this! It’s certainly helping me focus a lot more than I was before; amazing that it’s free. One little thing, could it be tweaked to only activate with a specific NFC? For me it works on whatever tag I touch my phone to. Also bummer about the website thing, understandable but I hope that could be fixed. Cheers!
Saving me from myself
Game changer for me, the physical step of needing to scan an nfc tag (how I set it up, it’s flexible) is amazing. Much more helpful than the built in screen time. And it’s open source. And, bonus, being able to change the icon is nice too. My favorite is the little cat staring at the hourglass.
Good app
Works well, minor issue for some reason the fitness app icon breaks when activating a focus mode
