Classic with a spin
Thank you for creating this game. Although I’m still hoping for the RPG, this is still a fun and nostalgic play.
Why no sound control options?
Ridiculous. I don’t know if you forgot to add sound control features or just made them impossible to find in game but I just deleted the game. No sound control options? Bye.
Great game with some flaws
Love Medabots as a kid so this connects well on nostalgia. It takes some time to learn all the intricate details but the only real problem is I wish you could play it offline. I’m not sure why it needs a constant connection for some of the simple modes that don’t use energy. I travel a lot and don’t have reception all the time.
I hope you like adds.
The gameplay is 3.5. The adds for anything free that last longer than 3 minutes, constant harassment via paid junk rolls. An insult to Medabot fans in the West.
Ads
There needs to be a one time payment for ad skip or this game will suffer. The ads are either a normal five second ad or a three minute repeated ad over and over. $20 A MONTH to have no add is criminal.
Bug
Whenever i play it says fail to connect and please fix it
Lazy development
Sad and lazy rehash of a beloved series. Plays exactly like any other game of this genre but just boring and lazy. Why even bother playing this?
Bom jogo
Porém Pay to win ao nível extremo, pacotes extremamente caros pra nossa moeda.
Broken ads
Can’t redeem half the “Free” items because no matter how much or how little you interact with the ads you’re given, the only options you have are open the App Store or close the game.
Only game in town
It’s not too good, but we’re lacking for options, are not we?
Amazing
Great and fun all around. Its also free
Money Hungry nostalgia milk
They give you 10 diamonds per difficult or time consuming challenge like it’s Grand (300 diamonds for one pull, 3K for 10 pulls btw) Imagine $99 for a copy of the Legendary pull you got and a bit of diamond of the side because that’s exactly what they offer. Everything is so hard to obtain unless you dump real money or last a month of free grind and constant long Ads. Every event you will get nothing good because you need to spend money to reach the higher goals that are actually worth it. Have to watch really long Ads for the daily breadcrumbs or pay monthly to remove Ads. They are choking your childhood nostalgia till you give in a pay.
Welcome Back to the West!
I was excited for this game as a new Medabots game (though I’m still hoping for a mainline RPG). The gameplay is good, but it is held back by the gacha mechanics. The appeal of a Survivor genre game is the change in builds from round to round. Due to the guaranteed party composition, the game starts to feel same-y after a while. Also, they are pretty heavy-handed with the (optional) ads in this game. This was a nice teaser, but I am looking forward to a new console game in the West (hopefully Medarot 10).
Pay-to-win gacha grind
First thing first, the gameplay is fun for a mobile game. The unique abilities give each battle a different feel. It’s incredibly satisfying when you power up to the highest level and mow down everything in your path. That’s why it sucks that the game is an incredibly pay-to-win gacha grind. Your experience can very greatly on your starting roll. I didn’t have a great start, but I picked up a strong bot early and discovered how fun it can be. To level up your bots, you need duplicates and upgrade materials. Once you get a bot to UR rank, there are three UR ranks to pass through to get to LR. To pass from UR+2 to LR, you need an identical UR bot. This is incredibly time consuming if you want to level an SP bot. The SP bots (the strongest bots) are only available from the special gacha or the featured gachas. The drop rates are abysmal, and earning currency is a grind. Earning resources to level up your medal slots is a whole other thing that depends on waiting real time hours in “Meda search” to find some upgrade materials. Then there are “medalia” which provide buffs, but you have to play a digging minigame to find them. You also have to find resources to PLAY the digging minigame, again through Meda search. You can’t get ahead through skill. You have to either pay for any of the many resources in the game, or grind. It’s too bad. Like I said, the gameplay is fun, but the monetization model is horrible. All the different currencies and upgrade materials feel like they’re intentionally put there to hinder your progress, extract money from you, and force you to watch ads. I don’t play many mobile games, so I don’t know how the monetization model compares with others, but in Pokemon TCG there’s a ton to do without spending money. I’ve collected every diamond in each expansion so far without having to spend a dime. I can always battle with other people or the computer for free anytime too. WITH NO ADS. Eventually, if you’re free to play, you get to a point where you’re just pushing buttons to collect various resources, clicking on ads to earn currency, and waiting for your Meda search to dig up something useful.

Fun but money Hungry
This game is simple and fun but it is definitely a cash grab to be able to get anything in the game. The new characters are super hard to get if you’re a free to play player. The drop rates are low and it’s hard to get gems. This game also has small events where they make it hard to get material to be able to get the top prizes unless you spend big money. Love the nostalgia but they need to work on making it better for everyone to be able to get good units and not cost so much money!
Pay to Fast Roguelike
Click to see my TLDR while as with all mobile games we see some purchases everywhere HOWEVER there are no leaderboards in this game so not really a point to whale? More of a pay to fast type thing but honestly the only things I see worth buying is DX pass for $10 and the level packs (which leveling takes a while seems to heavily depend on the afk rewards more then any other game I’ve seen like ACECRAFT even didn’t do that hard so damn but otherwise it’s fun I wish THERE was custom animations for Medabots swinging and not them just walking around (for their personal ability only) and for other enemies they add some visual effect when they do the wait and charge I don’t care if it makes it 1 gb storage it feels like the animations are mostly cheaped out which is weird since it’s technically been in service for a year. I also think there needs to be more gem rewards if there is no events being ran (a "slow" month as we would call it) it is heavily reliant on the developers running the Dark Robattle (click tiles find the special one go next floor) or Medabot Racing (hold long enough to keep in green easy win) TLDR: Yes there’s gacha, animations feel a bit well not there when it’s needed and you will need to spend a little money if your dedicated and login consistently grab your EXP you should have fun when you have a short break. No story unfortunately I always like small amounts of story but it’s fine.
More bots, less money
Very obviously a cash grab for fans of the franchise, but the survival gameplay loop is fun. As a lover of Medabots, I was really excited. It’s nice that the gameplay is doable without dropping a band, but if you want interesting or unique medabots, it either takes weeks of optimal grinding or you pay a LOT of money. It’s also frustrating to me that the red bubble notifications do not go away unless you exhaust the ads. And there are way too many popups for all the limited time pull events. Speaking of events, the one kind of free one they give you is literally impossible to complete without spending money on something, be it energy or the special currency. It’s only up for 3 days, during which time you can only get half the required currency to pull the banner robot. Only reason this game gets a 2 instead of a 1 is because I enjoy the gameplay and Medabots.
OK
é divertidinho, mais do mesmo, só usaram a imagem de medabots, porém cobrarem R$ 599 reais por um robô e umas geminas é ridículo demais, simplesmente
Very Fun and Casual Game!
The game is not hard at all and anyone can pick it up. It’s very fun and easy to play. My only slight issue is that obtaining certain Medabots can be hard without spending some money.
Just ok
The artwork is very nice, it has very good designs but the game play is just like 1000 more games that play the same way. It becomes repetitive very quick is the same over and over.
Posibles mejoras
El juego está genial pero puliria un poco mas los fondos de los niveles y los diseños de los personajes y las animaciones, algun codigo para conseguir personajes tambien. Por lo demas es un gran juego a nivel de gameplay sencillo pero divertido, lo recomiendo
Its fine..
I love Medabots i always have. When i heard that there was a mobile medabots game i was hyped. Then i played it and realized it was just a suvivor.io reskin. I expected more, i hate to say it but this game is probably going to have an extremely short run. It provides nothing new or innovative, just a stolen concept from another game with medabots thrown in..

Leveling system is buy to win
I really don’t like the fact that they barely give you any play time and hate that they make the campaign so hard from the get go making you basically pay to do any thing.

Fun but at a Price
It’s Medabots and Vampire Survivors, but in order for you to get some of the most fun out of it you’ll have to be ready drop some cash on the INCREDIBLY LOW CHANCE of pulling a fun character. The gameplay is fun, but the pull rates are just down right awful. It gets a solid 2 only because of how often it shoves “free” pulls, and “free” daily/weekly/monthly claims(all of which require you watch an ad to claim unless you spend money to turn your game ad free for the month), incredibly horrible pull rates on all banners, and just how unfun it becomes to play. I’ve played quite a few gatcha games, but this might be one of the worst in terms banner pull rates.
What I would change
The hame is cool enough to keep p[laying, my biggest complaint is how I move. When my finger starts moving to close to the edge of my IPad (while running around) I pick up my finger and the robots stops and everyone catches up to me and then I am surrounded. Can the DEV’s fond a better way to run around that doesn’t cause me to have to lift my finger to reset it on the screen. To keep moving my robot, Thanks.

More medabots more power
No.
The complete stinginess of the “events” with the overall noticeably low effort design and assets that I would be fine with if it weren’t for the atrociously obvious P2W, and to even approach a reasonable progression rate in the game half of the “free” supplies are locked behind literal minute long ads. As a man, I can only really tolerate the two holes; trying to stick it in a third one is going to be a hard no from me. It’s fairly obvious more programming effort has went into trying to ensure the ads are as egregious as possible and likely a total of 2 people actually work on the game itself.
Fun for a bit
Like most people I tried due to nostalgia. I was hope you can customize each part of the body like some old game or the anime, but was not the case. The Gatcha system is very unforgiving: 99 pull mercies, 49 for special (the ones you want), 3k each draw and been playing 10 days only have enough for 4 pull, slow f2p gem acquisitions, huge amount of banners. Game is just like most survivor game with Medabots skin over. Extremely repetitive same enemies even bosses with little to no variant. The ads for free stuff is llloooooonnnnnngggggg about a 1 each no skipping. Most game I play with free ads are 5-10 sec. It was fun for a bit but most likely quit in a week or 2.
USA, we want Medarots! Translations and games please!!
"Survivors" with decent gameplay, but in all its a gatcha game... Metarots come to the USA and the world we want translations!! I will buy! Best part is if your a fan of Medarots. Survivor games are pretty low effort.
An Absolute Joy
I can’t believe this game doesn’t have more players! I’m glad I got to hop aboard while everything is still fresh and new 🤩 I love survivor-type games ever since tasting Vamp Survivor, and when I was younger I TOTALLY DUG on the Medabots cartoon after school, so this a really exciting combo of a game for me! I am still kind of struggling to understand how the items affect the bots on your team 🤔 it’s a little odd to me for now, but I’m sure I’ll get used to it quickly once everything ‘clicks’ for me 🙏 THANK YOU, Medabots Team! I’m having so much fun!
Destroyed something great
You guys turned something fans have been waiting for into a cash grab. Y’all are a disgrace as developers because this game is solely based on winning by spending money. Such a trash game from trash devs. Do better
P2W survivor like closer to original
Gameplay wise it feels more closer to VS than some of the other games. There’s a lot of different skills, each bot gives you a skill. Big problem with p2w. I started during their 1st anniversary event but the event is stingy and you’re gonna hit a wall very fast. Free currency is really low. There is a rush mob that you straight can’t out run and your only hope is to oneshot or it’ll hug you and delete your HP. While it’s fun to see this IP again, it’s not a balanced game. It’s probably better to just go back to VS if you want this style of game.
Robattle~
Happy to have Medabots in the west again, but this isn’t ideal. The MTX are crazy, and since it’s been ongoing a current event had 2 days to engage with it which is impossible. And most pulls (of which are many) have similar expiration looming. It’s hard to control with a touch screen. I’d like it more if I could just play it on PC with a controller or m/k. Especially with the attacks which go in movement direction.
Finally Medabots Game for mobile
I’ve been checking for years, to see a medabots game but finally one to mobile
Disappointed
I have no problem that it’s gacha, the biggest issues is the game is so boring and uninteresting. Using the hype of medabots just to produce this trash.
Wish it wasn't Gacha Slop
As a fan of the series ever since I was a kid. I always wanted to have Medabots back especially after realizing that the series has continued all this time in Japan. Seeing that Medabots came back even as a mobile title to the states got me super hyped. I was hoping that maybe it could be an RPG like the old Gameboy advance title. What I got sadly was another predatory Gacha game with insane prices wearing the skin of my beloved franchise. The gameplay is repetitive and mind numbing. There is no customization of your Medabots. The art is admittedly nice but that doesn't incentive me to spend actual money on this game. It's frustrating because I want this franchise to come back to the states but not like this. Not as some mediocre cash grab that preys on nostalgia for the series. But if this game fails then the holders of the IP will see it as us not wanting the franchise back at all. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
Nostalgia
Not the most exciting game by any means, but some solid fun. We just haven’t been blessed with a Medabots game in so long, so that’s why this gets 5 stars from me
Complete trash
The game is a knock off of Vampire Survivors, which should be a great thing as I love both of those things. However this is pumped so full of microtransactions and pay 2 win mechanics that make it unplayable. The game also has a stamina system, meaning that if you start a round and get screwed with bad upgrades in your first few kills, your entire run is shot and your out the stamina. Just do yourself a favor, go play Vampire Survivors and have Medabots on in the background, better use of your time, this nostalgia cash grab will be retired in less than a year.
Gacha Slop
I probably logged hundreds of hours on Medabots for the GBA back in the day, which had great gameplay that would have lent itself well to a mobile format. Unfortunately, the devs chose to go the typical mobile Gacha Slop route. I’m sure there are plenty of whales pouring all their money into this game, but unless you are willing to do the same, I’d give this one a pass. It’s a shame the Medabots franchise didn’t get better than this.
