Easy to use
I need to keep life simple and when I saw that it was easy to enter goals and easy to log your progress I knew I was going to really like this app!
Bait and switch is right
Purchased this app a while ago, they decided to add a subscription service and now the app is highly restricted unless I agree to pay the subscription. Do not do business with this company, very shady business practices.
Long term goals
This is great for tracking different kinds of long terms goals. I have to use a different app for checklist, and was unable to find a simple app that did both of them, but I like how simple this app tracks long terms goals. I wish when you didn’t meet a goal or complete something the previous day it would carry over so you have to go back to the actual day to Complete it, but other than that I like how it shows you statistics, graphs to determine how on track you are.
Fine for daily goals but that’s it
It’s fine—not great—for getting yourself to hit daily goals. But for anything else it’s awful. If you only want to do something a few times a week, find another app. This one is clearly not designed for that

What a waste
I bought the paid version so I could try to really get into goal making. But it’s such a waste of money. This app is more annoying than anything, just constant reminders than at actual times that are constructive. I sincerely regret having bought the paid version of this app. I would have been better off had I known, then I just wouldn’t have downloaded in the first place. Not a fan. Also, not a great app for neurodivergent types.

Its ok just overly complicated
Its decent in most parts and downloaded it based on the recommendation from 6 minute diary. Ive paid for the year. But I simply just want to log my 2 litre water intake. I dont want to sync it with my watch, i dont want to log how many times a day. I just want to log in ml how much I’ve drunk. But it’s just not logical to setup that way. When setting up a manual goal it just asks for times per day doesnt give you the option for volume of water consumed. If you use the existing template it wants to use my watch data which I dont use to track. The rest of my habits were straight forward

Have tested and used 10+ habit tracking apps and this is the only one I’ve felt I can actually work into my regular life and is worth using on a regular basis. It has both habits and projects, a lot of customization, and accountability/exporting abilities. LOVING it.
Won’t open
Just downloaded app on iPad Pro. When I try to open, app immediately freezes and quits. No way to contact support without having app open.
Actually really helpful
I was looking for a good app that does exactly this. surprisingly hard to find a simple free app to help track your goals so I’m very grateful to have found this. Thank you for helping me stay motivated :)
Streaks don’t transfer to new devices
Been using this app for years and when I got a new iPhone, all my history is gone, even when I “synced” my trackers. Really disappointed 😭.
Feeling good
The whole vibe about the app is feeling good, a few small gremlins like adding a tag seems to fight you, but my biggest gripe would be the text size, had my eyes checked and they tell me just on the edge of needing reading glasses but not yet, but the text in this app is small and thin font not good if your doing this half a sleep

The free version isn’t useful
The free version is not useful, you only can add 3 goals.

The interface is not there yet, but all the features are absolutely essential and amazing. I consider buy the premium, but $99 for just tracking habits and goals is kinda..
Strides
It is a okay app but it only lets you have three habits before it makes you pay there are better habits apps out there like “habit” or “onrise”

Wonderful app for personal and work use
I’ve tried a few different habit trackers before settling on this one. The capabilities for customization and metrics reports make this the best overall app that I have found for habit tracking. As a bonus, the customer service is very responsive to questions. I highly recommend this app!
Not good
To have to pay $39 for this app and it doesn’t really remind you because I set a specific reminder as specific time and it didn’t remind me and then it just says in one big thing you have 21 things to do and it’s like OK yeah I’m glad that you’re telling me. I have 21 things to do but but half of the list was supposed to be for a later timeframe so why do I have 21 things that I supposedly have to do right this minute if I’m gonna to pay $39 for something, I wanna make sure that it’s a decent app and unfortunately this is a decent app if you’re looking for a better app than this I recommend habit. It’s a good app and it’s free.
Update negatively affects playing audio via podcasting app.
Devs: why does Strides now pause audio playing in another app? V17.1 is doing this and it takes away from my enjoyment using Strides, when I have to go to my podcast app to press play.
Not that great
I’m my eyes it’s not that great, because you can only track 3 things unless you pay for premium. Not a great app, and I don’t recommend.
Buggy collab mode
App looks really nice, but the collab mode is really buggy with my partners and my app showing different progress for the same tracker.
Awesome app
I’ve been using this app for years to track things. Had a small issue and the developer gave me a swift response and was patient with helping me work through it until it was resolved. Definitely 5 stars

Nice enough app, crazy pricing
The UI is nice, it’s all easy to use, but why is it a subscription model for premium? £70 to actually buy the app is crazy.
Decent App
I liked this and the free of charge version got me off to a solid start. I would have subscribed/purchased if the price was lower but it doesn’t represent value to me at the offered price and I found an alternative that was more realistically priced and equally good. Thank you for the leg up, Strides Team and I wish you well.
Easy to use
Simple interface and easy to set new goals
Only lets you create 3 habits
For the free version. Wish i knew before i downloaded and set everything up to find out on the fourth one that only 3 are allowed. Im not going to keep several apps to track all my daily habits so deleted it.
[UPDATED] Previous version off-putting; now appears to be fixed.
A decent app, though perhaps not unique or capable enough to warrant a pricey premium subscription. A recent version featured a super-irritating, full-screen upgrade nag that killed the user experience. But now that the pop-up pester-fest appears to have ended – an unfortunate glitch maybe – I am happy to give Strides another chance. Benefit of doubt given, four stars is fair.
Nothing Special
I've tried it as I got more than intrigued specifically for this app from a reviewer. Plain and simple User Interface however you've got to pay for majority of the features without taking a free look into them. Options that are offered in the app are not so special. Simple not for me, it's getting too much to use an app like this to track more things on top of more things.

Decent app, but it's not cheap.
Love habit tracking features like the skip/pause; and I like the Gantt feature.
Love that the habit tracking allows the choice of yes/no/skip for tracking streaks. I just got the app, I’m still learning how to use Gantt project feature, but can’t wait to use that. Having a Gantt chart for complex tasks is a real gem to find in a personal task manager.

Health automation and widgets needs more work
I love it's features and it's ability to track different habits and personal goals. However, health automation tracking is very buggy and it often logs things twice. Also, the widgets are notoriously bad as they never update
Living out my values
I’ve set goals for the things that matter most to me. I log my progress after I get a reminder, which keeps me on track. It has improved my focus and helped me achieve my goals!
Frustrating and costly. Disenfranchised 1 time purchaser.
Purchased this app fully awhile back (prior to subscription model). Then one day the app functionality changed and became limited (I believe related to an iOS update). To fix required costly monthly subscription or costly lifetime access. Basically looks like the business model changed. Nope and nope. There are now many other great habit tracking apps at much less cost so I’m trying something else.
Love this app but…
I love this app and I have updated but I can’t access the additional features, trackers etc. I have contacted the developer everyday for three days and no reply. I’m hoping that they are not too busy to ready their reviews….
Way too expensive and free is useless
Looks interesting but the free plan is so limited that it’s not worth using and the subscription prices is way too expensive for what you get. Will use another app that does the same thing
Absolutely beautiful, but no API to automate tracking
The data visualizations are beautiful and it would be a lovely place to visualize data from a variety of habits and goals. Sadly, there is no API and no integration with any services like IFTTT or Zapier. As a result, you can only really track a few things before the friction of manual data entry is just too much to be sustainable. If you only want to track a few things and you’re fine with doing that manually, then I think this is probably a great app for you. If you want to seamlessly and automatically track many different things, it’s probably worth finding something else. I found the friction of manual data entry to be too high a price for the visualizations, and moved to something else. In the end, the beautiful visualizations weren’t of any use to me if the friction of the data entry was such that I wasn’t entering any data to visualize…

Not intuitive
The structure for completing a good habit seems more complicated than it should be. If you missed that day, it’s should log it red, not green still? Maybe slide left for hit goal / swipe right for missed goal? Also, where do you go to delete a habit? I feel like it shouldn’t be so tough to find that I feel the need to write a review about it.

it’s a good app but the fact that the whole point is to track your goals and you can only have 3 without paying for the premium is absolute garbage, i was really excited to finally have found an app that is set out easily and has a good way of tracking habits versus goals and also bad habits to try and cut out, but the payment ruins it completely, if you’re able to spend the money it might be worth it but i don’t see it being that worth the money
