I used Skipper to track sailing races and deliveries. For racing, the color coded boat speed helps with post-race analysis.
Trompeur
Je cherchais à remplacer le livre de bord papier de mes Croisières en voilier. Je me suis laissé tromper par le titre le livre de bord du capitaine. Il s’agit juste d’un enregistreur de trajets. Rien a voir avec un livre de bord ou lon peut noter tous les évènement de la vie du bord. Peut-on se faire rembourser ?
Enfin, un livre de bord digital
Bien sur, on peut le compléter, ce que le développeur s’attache à faire, mais cette version est intéressante et peut nous dispenser de la version papier à terme, espérons le (législation ?).

l'appli se met en pose toute seule par moments (iPhone 6) lors de la mise en pose volontaire ,a la reprise il n'y a pas de continuité dans les nm parcourus et le temps de navigation la fonction meteo est assez précise

Application pratique
L’application est pratique quand elle ne s’interrompt pas en cours de navigation. C’est un bon outil pour tracer sa navigation. J’adore la fonction d’export qui permet de traiter ensuite les données dans d’autres outils ou de mettre à jours sont journal de bord papier.
Didn’t save trip as advertised
I set I to record the trip and get back to port after checking it many times along the way and it was Going, that is until I got to port and open it up and it tells me that don’t have anything that was recorded. What crap. Very disappointing

Import functionality ROCKS, and author provides great tech support
I was looking to move from a paper log book, and wanted an app that could easily import .gpx files. Skipper does a great job, and generates a nice map to easily see where I’ve sailed that day. The author, Axel, is very responsive with tech support. I’d love to see data saved to iCloud, and perhaps a .pdf export functionality. But for now, I’m delighted with how it works on my iPad
Bugs permanents
L’application plante en permanence dès lors que vous ne l’arrêtez pas immédiatement à votre arrivée , la fonction arrêt automatique ne fonctionne pas. Elle plante également sur de longues navigations (+ de 12h00), lorsque vous utilisez votre iPhone avec d’autres applications ( style photos). Bref c’est dommage car on avait la possibilité d’avoir toutes ses navigations sur son iPhone et pouvoir les partager facilement. J’ai téléchargé cette application en 2016 et au début elle fonctionnait mieux. Dernièrement j’ai adressé un mail au développeur pour l’informer et aucune réponse de sa part.
Très pratique, mais...
Merci pour cette application simple et efficace. Manque, pour mon utilisation personnelle, une gestion du carburant permettant de ressortir une consommation horaire et un rendement au mile appliqué à chaque sortie et au cumul. Une fonctionnalité MOB et mémorisation d’un point GPS instantané avec un texte rattaché serait Super ! Serait-il possible d’avoir une fonction préparation de trajet faisant apparaître les caps à respecter ? Encore merci pour votre travail. Bon courage pour les modifications. Si vous souhaitez quelqu’un pour tester grandeur nature, je navigue toute l’année. Cordialement, Eric Quelques informations complémentaires. I love my skipper app! I use it every time I paddle or sail. It feels like a personal, friendly app that I like taking it along with me on my adventures. It’s great for tracking my time on the water. It’s affordable too

So Far
So Far the set up is pretty easy! I have made suggestions that the developers add other chat formats such as iOS messages. There are many people like myself that prefer not to join into the facebook or twitter platforms. That being said I’m not able to use messenger unless I join facebook. I’m getting this all ready though we are still shopping for that perfect new chapter in our lives. Our boat is to become our new home. We will sell our home and become permanent live aboard. So as time draws nearer and we find our new home we will be updating our review of this app. For our records and for insurance purposes this app will be used for many different purposes. I shall tell everyone just how well this app can handle everything. So Far So Good!!

logiciel très intéressant
je cherchais la possibilité d’avoir un journal de bord facile à gérer pour mémoriser la vie de mon voilier, cette application répond en grande partie à mes besoins, j’ai fais part au développeur de quelques améliorations à ajouter, le lendemain j’avais une réponse, donc une excellente réactivité !!! Cette application a donc du potentiel !!!

I used the app to log my voyages in the last couple of weeks and I am very impressed. Easy to use and accurate. It would be nice if there was the possibility to upload photos in the log.

Pretty good so far!
I am a novice paddler. I have only used the app a couple of time and it does pretty much everything I hoped it would. However it did shut down when I stopped in one place for a while to watch a school of fish on the surface. I may have to adjust the settings to account for longer sightseeing stops. That may earn it the 5th star once I figure it all out!!!
Good App for kayaking and sailing
1. Clean, simple look. 2. Shows only the data I want for logging kayak/sailing lake trips. 3. Color-coded speed and milage on map display. 4. Average wind recorded. 5. Multiple map types are available. 6. Wind forecast is helpful. 7. Good price for the above! I hope future versions might include an option to add photos to a specific sail.

C'est naze on devrai nous payer pour utiliser cette applis pluto que de payer 99 centimes l'applis ce coupe en pleine utilisation et en plus s enregistre pas la navigation gros foutage de gueule pour une apppi i phone quant même eviter d'acheter cette applis totalement inutile vous gaspillerais votre argent!

Très simple
Facile à utiliser. Mise en pose au mouillage et reprise quand vous reprenez la barre. Si vous voulez mémoriser toutes vos nav en détail, compléte parfaitement Boat Manager. Les cartes marines ne sont juste pas assez détaillées pour moi, un import des cartes Navionics serait sympa (pour ceux qui ont l'appli). Sinon RAS fonctionne nickel
Better than I even hoped!
If you're a boater of any kind then buy this app! Sailors will certainly take delight but it would still be enjoyable for a motor on the lake. I spent a long time looking for a decent weather app for sailing. I still hadn't found anything that beat listening to the radio until now! I found this app on Product Hunt where it is called a "Runkeeper for your boat". True, and I think I'm really going to enjoy that feature! But it also is the best marine weather app, and that feature is just thrown in! Beautiful interface, very useful app. Glad there's a sailing savvy developer out there with a good eye for design.
Crashes in iOS7.
This app worked until I upgraded to iOS7. Do not purchase until they fix it.
