Used to be great! Creator is ruining it!
I loved this app, until it was put behind a pay wall and the features it showcased such as ranking your own albums disappeared behind paywall junk. Search for another app if you genuinely love music. This person must genuinely love money and have too much of it to spend on features nobody wants or asks for.
Amazing!
I switched to this app after Musicboard started glitching and the community began leaving. So I decided to go here. I think its very easy to use and I love the layout. I joined pretty early, so I got to use and see parts of this app that suddenly got locked behind a paywall. I don’t have a problem with that except for one part. You have to pay a subscription to put albums that are missing.. if this is an app to rate music I wouldn’t want to pay to rate albums I listened to! But that’s my ONLY complaint. Everything else about this app is amazing and I’m so happy I switched to it :D also there aren’t that many pretentious, mean people here compared to OTHER music apps… cough cough RYM.
This app has so much potential
I really wish I could like this app, I tried, it has all the potential to be good. But god is it so laggy and clunky, I had to restart like 5 times before I even got to actually make an account because the app kept crashing, and after making my account, I was just greeted with more and more lag. I really wish all of this stuff can get sorted out and the app becomes usable.
So close to perf
Please, fix the keyboard. I have an iPhone 11 and often times the keyboard when logging in cover the enter button. It makes things so so so so difficult to even get into the app. Ugh, other than that, and a few minor bugs, it’s wonderful.

It’s a really cool app but it’s too slow :/ It’s taking up to one minute to just load an album.
Cool app but graphic glitches
Really cool app and it’s my favourite music reviewing platform compared to other but i was jus wondering if anybody else had this same problem as me. All the album covers on the front page are very glitchy and grainy do some reason i’m not sure why but it’s only some of the albums. Also i wish-when making collections- that you could choose and song you want and not just the ones you have already ranked; i think that’s probably my biggest problem with it.
Perfect
I tried some other apps and was so disappointed that I started concepting my own app. Eventually I got an ad for this app that basically matched my exact vision for what I wanted from a music rating app. Everything about it is very sleek and user friendly.
Useless unless you listen to Rap and R & B
Complete waste of time, I signed up added 22 bands and some albums and it went right to junky forums discussing Rap and sex. What a terrible app and completely misled what I thought it could be
Good… but missing music?
This is a fantastic app, a brilliant idea, and something that I can imagine will grow with more users, which will enhance the experience. However, when looking for songs, certain albums that I listen to, aren’t on there… is there only a limited selection of music thus far, or is this it? As I have a relatively mainstream music taste, so was surprised to see some things weren’t on the app!

some good features, but doesn’t let you select a date listened if you like to track things date-by-date. it’ll mark the day you listened as whenever you last updated or wrote the review, despite having the option to add a date

Scam Data Collection
Enter my phone number to create an account? Not happening. Anyone signing up this way with no way around it should expect a wave of spam calls following it. This app is just a data collection trap.
Good, underrated
Honestly it’s really good. I do wish there were a “listen list” feature like letterboxd’s watchlist feature. Maybe also a least favorite track feature. But it is good. Wish more people knew about it.

An Incredible Community with Great Potential
I’ve been seeing a lot of music ranking apps such as this lately and even apps that haven’t even been released in stores yet. Some of what I’ve been in were created by A.I. and that isn’t really something I support and would rather support someone who actually did the hard work. As I’m writing this review, this app is only being moderated by ONE single person. He handles almost every problems, bugs, glitches, complains we all have and takes the constructive criticism extremely well. He has this feature in Echo+ where there’s a tab where all of us with that subscription can recommend anything for Echo to be better and be posted on a roadmap full of people’s suggestions. I’d say the owner of this app is pretty transparent and tries his best to take in everything but he can’t solve everyone’s problem. Anyway, the reason why I like this app so much is because of the community and also the honesty in people’s reviews. I’ve seen so many praises of Kendrick’s album “To Pimp A Butterfly” with how great it is, but I like how there’s also a good handful of people not afraid to voice their opinion on why it isn’t what people think it is. It’s really different and it’s something that I like about the app. Currently, there’s still a lot of work that needs to be added and fixed in Echo like issues with Android and whatnot, and I’m so happy to be part of that experience and seeing all these new updates and crates to keep the ball moving. And to see people so eager to find new music and listening to it almost everyday, I think it’s incredible and isn’t something you’d normally see from other apps. Overall, Echo has the potential to be something really great. The only thing he really needs right now is a team that can back him up and make Echo the best I know it can be.

They demand your phone number, having notifications on and access to your contacts list. What kind of garbage is this?
Decent but could have a better library
The app is good and looks nice, however I feel that it lacks in its library as I can’t find any unreleased/music not on streaming services music
Best Designed Music Ranker
I absolutely love this app to reflect on and rank music that I listen to. Tried other alternatives, but non offer the granularity and social features this app has to offer. However, not being to export my data is a bit of a deal breaker. Still going to use this app for the next few months in hopes that this functionality is added (as I saw in the privacy policy this was coming soon). Once that is added this will be the perfect app for me as far as essentials go, and I’ll change my rating to 5 stars.

Come on, this is a new app and a social network. It’s 2025, no one is going to believe this isn’t just another scammy app that collects user data (and numbers) like Facebook! Let me sign up with Apple sign-in. I’m not going to give you my phone number, period.
I like it but needs improvements.
Kinda slow and glitchy sometimes but otherwise a decent way to rank your music. Would love to see a shelf feature that shows all of your albums.

Seems like this was vibe coded? Really cool idea it’s much like BELI but with Music… they just need to be better at formatting like why does text run over and stuff just basic app development front end stuff

musicboard shut down recently and this is what i've moved to. the layout is sleek and easy to understand! i also love how it doesn't take 20 years to load an album. only thing i wish it had was the ability to add what date you listened to an album you're logging.
Really cool but glitchy
This is one of the coolest apps I have. I love all the aspects of it, but it might be the glitchiest app I have ever used. The app crashes about every other time I try to use it, almost to the point where it’s unusable.

Super fun!
The app is just so much fun to use! I love the aesthetic of the app and how it lets me track how I feel about new songs. I think the ui does look weird a bit sometimes though, like when certain elements are covering others, it just doesn’t look absolutely polished all the time. I also wish there was a way to turn down the amount of notifications I get. I like being reminded if I forget to rank, but even after I rank the app is always pinging me to rank a new song. Overall still a super fun app.

Amazing idea, needs serious work
The app itself is great, great idea and well executed, and overall very enjoyable to use EXCEPT for all of the bugs. Very often the app will spazz out and not work, completely shut down, take 2 or more minutes to load a song and call it a “WiFi problem” when every other app is working fine, and half of the features stop working if you put it in the background while you’re on another app. I love Echo overall but it direly needs some fixes.
Doesn’t work well
I tried singing up and it didn’t even let me type +44 at the start of my phone number, it only allowed me to dk +1 and I had to find a complicated way to get around thag and when I did it didn’t let me sign in hecayse of “SMS limit exceeded” or something like that, I re-downloads cnp my phone number into it and it said the same thing
