Incorrect information regarding underweight bmi
I’ve been using this app for a while now to try to help me get my weight back up. I take a medication that reduces my appetite, and I’m recovering from an ED, so my weight has been pretty low for a while. My bmi is usually around 16 or 17, which this app led me to believe was normal. I finally looked it up because my doctor looked a little horrified when she saw my weight, and apparently you’re underweight if your bmi is below 18.5, not 16.5. I’m hoping this is a genuine mistake, but it is a significant one that can actually hurt people. I’m not trying to say this app purposefully encourages ED’s, but this false information, again, should be fixed as soon as possible. Other than that, it’s a very straightforward app that seems to work pretty well :)

I’m sure this app is great for adults, but for anyone younger than 25 the categories are all messed up. No, you aren’t obese at 14 because your 120lbs, and no, your not obese at 16 because your 127lbs. It does give your BMI but does not categorize well.

My cardiologist has me on daily weights., and keeps track of my BMI. With this app I am able to keep track of them both. I expecally like know what category I am in. I am trying to say out of the obese area.

Can’t be that accurate
So, I’ve lost 60lb this last year. Dropped from a tight 36” waist to 32” being to loose now. I’m 40 and nearly at the same size I was in my mid 20’s and a rock climber. Back then I was pretty trim and toned. Not as much now but not to far off. Point I’m getting at is this app told me that I’m on the cusp of being obese, which seems odd given I don’t know how much more weight I could loose and not look sickly. But I did it for what I was like at 25. And it was nearly the same! Apparently when I was able to do 20 pull-ups and had solid abs. I was nearly obese lol. So, if you plan on taking this app seriously. Don’t.

First of all I am 12 4”11.5 and 120 lbs on the app supposedly it says “90” to like “102” lbs and it doesn’t even say over weight by a little bit it says “OBESE” first of all made me a lot insecure abt my body and has made other people feel insecure too and develop disorders because there insecure too supposed weight was passed a long time ago and I’ve always been chubby and not active but jeez man it hurts seeing some confidence crumble away because some STUPID app decides to tell me I’m obese and I’m not I’m overweight not obese and this app has also caused many people to start hating their body’s and develop unhealthy habits and those people who say “this app is sooooo good” either they’re paid people or their faking to not hurt feelings because there is SOOO MANY young ppl like me or even younger who start hating their body’s because some app told them their obese. (Btw I AM SUPPOSEDLY OBESE) I MYSELF USED MY PARENTS AND IT SAID MY MOM WAS OBESE I AND MY DAD OBESE II. I KNOW THAT YOUR TEAM WONT READ THIS

Not accurate
Ok BMI isn’t accurate by itself this app my example is that the healthy weight index for my height is 15.8-24.1 and it doesn’t matter what age I am that’s still a healthy range for my height.I’m 22.1 and it still said I’m overweight which I am not and other BMI apps said I’m in the healthy range and not to mention it said 48 kg is in healthy range when it’s considered underweight fix your app please 🤦♀️

This app does not include all the muscle in your body. Some people have more muscle than others, but it both says that they are overweight. Muscle does make your weight go higher so if you have a the littlest bit of muscle, it makes you weight go up. Please do not get insecure over this app because it is extremely inaccurate.

I guess I dose help it say that I am overweight but I am built big. I play rugby and have big shoulders. I think that it should scan you body as well because so people meet be fat and other are not just built big and are muscular. Also I can’t delete this app.
Good but not safe for underaged kids
I’ve had this app since I was 11, now I’m 14 and currently 47kg which perfectly healthy, but because of this app not factoring muscle is a massive drawback because as a swimmer who’s been swimming her whole life, I have gained muscle which makes me heavier than I could’ve been without the muscle. + for much stronger and muscular people who are using this app, they would be called overweight when in reality it’s just muscle, and not fat. having this app being free and accessible for kids under the age of 13 (which I did) could greatly affect how they view their body. Not the apps fault just poor use of not factoring muscle and such.
