This app helped me a lot many thanks to the developer, but im requesting from developer one little thing 🤏🏽 . If you’re reading this please fix DNS issue because lately im facing issues some websites or apps isn’t opening which i never blocked it in Quittr App, these apps don’t have any blocked media its just delivery apps nothing else idk how to fix that but when I turn DNS off these apps and websites will work properly. And also i have to use this protection to protect me from other websites. I hope you understand what i mean and thanks for all your support 🙏
Can we make this 12+
I find it hard to control myself from asking. If this is a filter. How come it’s 17+. That means, that I can only use this if I have my settings open. If I was filtering my apps I’d have it set to 12+ in order to block the adult apps. Otherwise… apps great but I may have to delete if I change my settings.
I Want It To Work
There are a lot of good things in this app. It advertises itself to help you keep track of your urges, let you write a journal, and have an entire community to talk to to back you up. However, the app has its bugs and I don’t see them getting fixed anytime soon. The journal will glitch out every so often and mess up your typing, the AI bot they have isn’t functional at all, and the coping strategies to deal with urges are shockingly shallow. All it tells you to do is breathe in and out no matter what your circumstances are; alone or in public, at home or at work—it doesn’t matter. Just breathe in and out and it’ll allll be good, right? But the app does feel like it’s got some footing. I just wish it was worth the money I put into it.

Incredible app with a truly amazing, inclusive, and welcoming community. Can’t talk enough about how friendly and supportive the people on this app are. Only downside is the app is somewhat buggy and for the four months I’ve had it I hear other people mention bugs and I have seen bugs too
Like the app, but paywall issue has not been resolved.
I like the app when it worked for me. I downloaded it a few months ago, paid for a full year then suddenly it stopped working due to a paywall issue. It would not let me past their discount screen. I have back and forth with support (which has tried to help, but they told me they would get back to me and never did). I have contacted them and they told me multiple times that they would get back to me and never did.

Love the app, but melius doesn’t work at all. You type out something and no response. No matter what, even the prompts provided get no response. In times of need this resource could give people support and it’s truly unfortunate that it doesn’t work. Would love to see this patched.
Unsolicited photos IN THE APP
This app was great and extremely helpful but myself as well as several other women I know have received unsolicited photos and videos in the app and been harassed on several occasions. I reached out to the support team and there has been no reply nor attempt to fix this

Good but needs work
It has helped me a lot with mental blockers and meditations, but it won’t reset my streak whenever I have to break it. The app just offers me the BetterHelp course and tells me to continue on from where I left off… which kinda defeats the whole purpose of the app. I asked for assistance a few months ago, but never really received any helpful response other than “try updating your app” or “try deleting and reinstalling”, but those haven’t worked. As a paying customer, I expect to get the actual service of a streak keeper rather than just getting a “buy help from the people paying us” ad whenever I already feel defeated by the temptation of lust 😂
Could be better
This Melius ai thing doesn’t even work. Literally isn’t giving any reply whatsoever to my messages. So, if that is part of what justifies the price of the app, I’m not getting my money’s worth. I also wish the app were more structured with a daily plan or track to follow, kind of like Brainbuddy. That said, it is one of the better apps of this type.

This app is not monitored and I’m convinced the “support team” doesn’t actually exist. I’ve been harassed and sent explicit pictures without consent. And it’s been a problem for at least a handful of other people. Blocking the person didn’t even work this app isn’t worth the money. I actually made my own support chat in a completely different app because of how buggy and glitchy this app is.

Hello, I am getting on here today to let you all know that this is an amazing app for anyone suffering with this addiction. And with the tweaks you all have made to the app so far it’s really done wonders for me. I only have it 4/5 stars because the problem is that there should also be a thing on there to block any trigger search words that’ll end up leading us somewhere we wouldn’t want to be at. Like for example, if you were to put the word cat on the block list, and then try to search that up on anything, it’ll not want to search it up bc that word is on the list. Please make this such a thing. I feel like that could do us all so much more wonders than we could ever hope to imagine. Thank you for your time! I hope to hear back soon! Thank you.

The content blocker slows your phone down
The concept of a content blocker is awesome but I have experienced problems with my loading times and overall quality of internet the way the content blocker works is through a DNS profile which is static vs automatic since that is the case certain websites and or proxy connections have to conform to it thus slowing your phone down think of an open stream having a dam put on it some of the water will get through but will slow down the stream tremendously. Other than that good app.

I purchased the lifetime subscription to finally be rid of my addiction and they took my money but I can’t sign into my service that I’ve paid for. I want my money back.
Good but with some user interface issues
I’ve only just begun but seems ok. The only thing is some text is cut off when using the app and there’s some difficulty moving from field to field when you’re inputting information
Why do I need to have a subscription
This app looks legit and nice, but I have absolutely no idea why every single app has some sort of subscription. And this isn’t even that cheap. It’s like $30. I really want to quit. More than anything, but I don’t want to pay this much for this. And if I stumble back into a relapse, this will just be a waste.
Why cost
This app is a very good concept with quitting peoples biggest addiction! but the thing is if you would like people to quit so badly, why make it cost? Like I know you need to make more money, but if someone is so self aware that they get an app then maybe they deserve to be able to quit this addiction for free!

Broken waste of money
“Ai therapist” is broken and wont respond. My streak has been reset twice now for no reason and without warning. My girlfriend wants to take this app as gospel yet it doesnt even work
Only one issue
The start up message is subliminally skewed it literally says Reflect before you relapse like it’s subconsciously bringing up relapsing for no reason at all! I think you just gotta get rid of it .. otherwise good app worth the money it does what it says!
So far content blocker won’t run
I have written Quittr support and am waiting for their analysis. Nothing back yet. Content blocker setting still won’t run. I’m hoping they figure this out. So far the app is great and offers great resources and guidance.

When I try reset the counter it crashed the app. Adds on a relapse but not the time streak. Now I have may relapse showing that didn’t happen and the wrong time

Constant Design Changes
These constant major design changes happen way often then necessary. It affects UX a little. A couple days ago the app looked perfect. Using the Apple Liquid Glass slider at the bottom of the screen to switch between sections of the app was great. All the general items were easy to read like your streak, relapses, etc. Among many other things. Now the bottom selector just blends into the black background making it harder on the eyes and annoying to use. My times “relapsed” count has now decreased for some reason (I’ve heard a lot of people complain about this so it’s definitely not just me. Some people even said theirs completely reset to zero). If you just reverse the app version to the previous version all would be good.

This app is amazing! With the “Content Blocker” feature i was able to block search engines and even apps this has helped me a lot. I even got the pay one time subscription for 50 dollars which was great. Would definitely recommend this app!

Waste of money
The idea behind the app it’s self is great the way the app functions is not good. Didn’t check in for a couple days lost my streak. It was never I needed this app it was just needing something to look at as a reminder everyday for my own personal experience. Even when I paid the original amount for the app when I opened it I expected like so much better than just basically something that tally’s days and a thing to post to a wall about experiences. Like it’s probably worth 1.99 or 2.99 not what they are charging. Be just as well off with a piece of paper and pencil writing down tally marks.

I thought the NSFW blocker would block private tabs? It doesn’t let me access certain sites which is what matters the most but I don’t even wanna be able to hit private tabs. I feel like that would keep me most accountable

It is a good app to help you with your goal, but when it comes to the subscriptions it is an absolute scam. Twice now i have paid for the “lifetime subscription” and both times it hasn’t worked but has taken the money anyway (i managed to get only one refunded by apple). And i also tried to get a 7 day free trial, and i was charged the monthly fee anyway. Everytime this has happened i emailed the company and they said they were working on a fix, then released a fix and still it doesn’t work. The way this app works the subscriptions is a joke and i’m starting to think it is a cash grab. Yes, it helps to achieve your goals and is really good in that sense, based on that the app is 5 stars. But the subscription issues just ruin it completely.

They finally fixed the lifetime subscription issue! 5 stars! Paid for a lifetime subscription for a second time and I bought the lifetime membership for the first time over 6 months ago, emailed their support several times without any response or resolution, so I bought it again for a second time recently and they STILL haven’t given me a lifetime membership that I paid for! Look at all the reviews of other people having the same problem. For crying out loud Apple, shut these guys down!

Really good app, but now having interactive widget is a little disappointing.
recently purchased the pro membership, and I really want to admit that app is top-notch. UI interface is clean. tools and blockers really helps. but not having interactive widgets was something I wasnt expecting. even the free versions of other apps has widgets. If it gets widgets on upcoming update no other app can beat QUITTR.
Community can be kinda toxic and childish
The app itself is fine but does pretty much what a pen and paper can do. I imagine it will be necessary for some. The community though really needs some severe moderation, unfortunately the so called mods join in with the banter and it just feels like an anxiety fuelled crèche with little direction. If you want a basic goal tracker with some basic breathing exercises and some easily googleable articles thrown in then go ahead and spend £20 here. Otherwise there’s better “science backed” options out there. Disappointed.
Great minus functionality issues
The app has a lot of great ideas and features. Namely, it’s user friendly, the user interface is efficient and compact with a lot of different features. The overall design quality of the app is of a high standard which makes the price feel very reasonable. I personally think the leaderboard, and post areas are a great addition which encourage users to persist in their goals. The only real issue I have is functionality. First time I used the app, the internet filter didn’t work at all despite following the steps to activate it. I had to redownload the app to get it to work, and by doing so, I lost all the data I put into the app; journal entries, reasons to quit, my posts. My streak. I can look past this, but it is frustrating and unfortunate. Additionally, there’s an option to edit how long you’ve been abstaining for which even after redownloading still doesn’t work on my phone so my streak is now inaccurate. I also noticed that when reading community posts in the app, I was able to upvote a post multiple times which I assumed was a bug as that would portray an inaccurate number of times a post has been upvoted by different users. Overall, I would recommend this app. It has a great purpose which has been executed well with a few practical resources that make it feel like a proactive journey in the app. There are functionality issues which compromise the usage of the app, but I could foresee these easily being ironed out, and as much as they’re not ideal, they don’t make it a deal breaker for the app.
