App Store issues
Can’t really see the food you drop. Can’t upgrade tank sizes so have to start over when you want a bigger tank. CAN’T LIMIT NOTIFICATIONS very very annoying (eggs hatched, fish are hungry, fish are grown). The 3D aspect doesn’t help much and looks worse for jellyfish tank (compared to Fish Farm 3). Fewer sustainability features are available by playing, and require monetary purchases.
Absolutely amazing!!
I really love this game. It’s honestly one of the MOST realistic and enjoyable aquarium games on the App Store. You can tell the developers put a lot of thought and care into the details, and it really shows in how the fish look and how the aquariums function. It’s relaxing, fun, and clearly made by people who care about the experience!! Overall though, this is an amazing game and my favorite on the App Store. Thank you to the developers for creating such a great aquarium experience.

Great Promise- potential changes
Phenomenal game for the most part. I love the structure and atmosphere in this iteration of Fish Farm. I’ve played since the first release. The in-game pop up ads every three minutes are a bit much, but I’m glad they’re relatively short. My main gripes are that recolored fish should produce other recolored fish when bred with one another instead of having to use gems every time. And most importantly, the controls for the Eat Fish game are too unstable. The joystick’s position, at the lower righthand corner, is a setup for issues with finger slipping offscreen. Please help a loyal customer. I really do enjoy and appreciate your games. I have always support monetarily.
Discovery Fish Not Appearing
I got only the Redtail Butterflyfish in the game and it spawns in other areas outside Oceania too, replacing other fish
Gems/coins
I rather enjoy the game but do think fish I purchase with gems/diamonds should either sell for more than the other fish or give me gems back in return, that mechanic makes no sense to me. Other than that it’s been fun rearranging aquariums a ridiculous amount of times with zero repercussions.

Game is rigged to make you spend money
I normally do not leave reviews, but this game honestly deserves 1 star. The diamond coin system is ridiculous. Many of the fish you actually want require diamonds, but the game makes it extremely difficult to earn diamonds unless you pay real money. It makes it nearly impossible to progress or get the fish you want without spending money. What makes even less sense is that you pay diamond coins to buy fish and then you have to spend more diamond coins just to breed them. But when you sell the fish you only get regular coins back instead of diamonds. That makes absolutely no sense. Also fish that you capture you have to pay for delivery in diamond coins. Not cool The whole system feels like it is designed to make you spend money. Apparently the developers are not satisfied with the unlimited amount of ads either. I do not mind watching ads as long as the reward is worth it, but most of the time the rewards are tiny compared to how expensive everything is with diamonds. The game could actually be fun, but the way the economy is set up completely ruins the experience. It feels more like a cash grab than a game.
Good but…
Amazing graphics. It would be nice to exchange gems for Xp, and reverse currency exchanges such as coins for gems and gems for coins.
The invertebrates that were in the game before are now gone, I wish they never disappeared

I really wish this information was available before we wasted each other’s time. I’m willing to pay a modest amount to permanently disable ads. Or full price for a full game. I will never play a game that doesn’t let me have a permanent ad free experience. Period.
Good game. One little problem
It’s a really good game I have no other problems than this. I have a problem with the rate at which I level up and the fact I have to spend more money then what I earn for fish. I don’t know if I’m doing it wrong but that’s my issue.
DEVS PLS PAY ATTENTION
The game is absolutely phenomenal, and I don’t have many complaints. EXCEPT FOR A BIG ONE, the cost to get more and more aquariums, specifically the gems. I LOVE AQUARIUMS, but after a while the cost to get more of them gets extremely high. Currently I have 12 Aquariums and to get another I need 120 gems I cannot GET THAT AMOUNT FAST, and it’s very frustrating. I wish there was an alternative option to make getting aquariums just a tiny bit more manageable and affordable, maybe have an option to pay with coin. It can still be a ridicules amount to pay, but it would be easier to achieve. I also don’t participate in the mini games often, because I simply prefer to stare at my aquariums and take care of my fish, so getting gems is HARD. Also it is not fair that a fish that I buy FOR GEMS can only be sold for COIN. I want fish BOUGHT FOR GEMS TO BE SOLD FOR GEMS.
Pretty great game!
It’s simple, you take care of fish; buy, breed, sell. You decorate and upgrade the tanks. That alone gives it 2 stars. What makes the game really nice are the good graphics and good simulations. Isn’t super glitchy or fidgety like some which is nice. Another thing is that the secondary currency, although it is a little bit more difficult to obtain, you aren’t shoving money requests and adds down our throats. Very nice!
Huge downgrade from Fish Farm 3
I tried submitting a review w week ago and it looks like it didn’t get through. Is the app store deleting negative reviews? Anyway, what I loved about this series was how fair and reasonably priced it was. You could purchase a few addons in 2 & 3 to unlock the entire game without needing to engage with ads or further micro-transactions. This was very fair and I was happy to drop $15-20 for a complete game. Fish Farm 4 is the complete opposite. At every turn I feel like I'm being extorted for money to make progress. Prices are high, and you need a ridiculous amount of the paid currency to make any real progress. The whole game is so greedy compared to past entires. And while the fish look better than past entries, the 3D tanks floating in a void actually feel worse to look at than the full-screen, static environments in 3. All around, this entry is a massive disappointment from my formerly favourite aquarium series. I suggest playing 3 instead.
I like this game (edited review)
The 3d models are awesome, the mechanics are cool, but even through buying and selling fish (as you mentioned in a separate reply) but it just seems a bit slow to level up. Edit: I don’t actually mind the leveling up process that much anymore. Some things like larger tanks are “overpriced” so far for me, but I’m still pretty early on (level 15) so I may see things differently soon. Graphics are great!!! You can really do whatever you want with the aquascaping and that’s really cool. Also: I LOVE how the damselfishes will go attack other fish lol, it adds to the realism. Looking at the update log, it’s awesome to see that the game is actively being worked on and added to. Moorish idol and cleaner shrimps could be added if they haven’t been already! And maybe some species of starfish? They could very slowly shift around the aquarium over time. (Again I’m early into the game so these may already be things). Also being able to heart your neighbors tanks would be sweet! Anyways, I love the ocean and marine bio so I think this game is pretty cool :)
Fish farm 4 won’t backup on phone
Fish farm 4 won’t backup on my I phone I recently got the app on my phone to get xp on trips I used my iPads backup as it was put on my phone using Game Center but it won’t backup on phone after that all data is on the phone as I might have deleted my backup on iPad so my phone would backup and still it doesn’t backup. I have I cloud enabled.

I installed this game after having played fish farm 3 and I think that although this games visuals have improved, the gameplay has gotten a lot worse. I wish that the coloring of a fish was inherit, you could select which fish you wanted to mate, and I wish the price of fish went up as you leveled up, like fish farm 3. I find the game got very repetitive fast because it lacks more customization and goals like these.

As someone who loves fish this games is next level real wish they had more plants corals and also fish like starfish shrimp and also more crabs/lobsters maybe deep sea creatures
Very Good
At first I deleted it because it didn’t really make sense to me, as Fish Farm 3 was so much more simple (in my opinion) but I decided to give it another shot. It’s amazing now that I’ve learned how to actually play. :,) I do like the fact that you can make display tanks and show them to the public, and look at other people’s tanks. It gives me some inspiration to my real life tanks. (not the stocking of them, obviously.) As a fish keeper/aquarist, I approve, but would not recommend taking advice from the many fish you can stock together (I.e Oscar and Betta, or Arowana and Zebra Danios.) Good job! :D

I love this game but can you add more goldfish types like orandas and ranchus and ryukins and lakes and ponds for goldfish ( if you what tons of goldfish in lakes or tens or one hundred of goldfish in ponds ) ( all types of goldfish including fancy goldfish )and some koi and can you add koi and some more sharks and make the habitat ( ocean with animals ) to breed them like sharks and whales and dolphins. I will be happy because of that I told you to add.
