Solid discipline app
Overall, it’s a really fun app. Easy to use, don’t need wifi for me, and is mostly customizable without needing of purchases. Only things I wish were added was better tracking of movement because sometimes when I do an exercise for a dungeon, It doesnt register, and when you accidentally complete an unfinished quest without intention you cant redo that quest. Hopefully these suggestions are added later on, but this is a great starter on the road of improvement 👍🏻

Honestly I was enjoy the app quite a bit up until its last patch. I’d spoke to the dev on email about a few issues and I got a reply saying they were being worked on, then they were fixed a few days later. With that same patch, came quite a few issues, I sent these, with a few questions to the dev and after over 2 weeks I still haven’t heard anything and I can’t progress in the game. I’m stuck not being able to move past a dungeon, despite beating it over 10 times, the next one remains locked. Would not recommend in its current state
Bugs bugs bugs
Nice game love where it’s going but theirs to many bugs click on certain options in game and theirs no way to back out of the option you’ve clicked no X to close or arrow to go back to the Home Screen of game. Can’t even progress in the dungeon keeps telling me my current position is the centaur I can battle and beat it multiple times and still have the next few stages and bosses locked. FIX THE BUGS PLEASE……..

I love this app so much it’s the best. I cannot wait for more things to be added. Please do not give up on this it has soooo much potential. It is already an amazing app and I can’t wait to see more of it.

I kept trying to cancel my subscription, and I’m still getting charged for it, I have no way to do it from the App Store, and I deleted the account, so I don’t get charged anymore, and they trying to charge me, worst experience
Good app but small nitpicks
You can’t change your username and i misunderstood the signup process so now I’m stuck with a bad username also it might be me being dumb but I can’t find the button for removing quests

I hope the dev sees this, I really love this game but there is too many glitches e.g I can’t even progress in the dungeons at this moment I’m like level 16 and I’m still stuck on the first dungeon it just won’t let me progress i’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but I’ve cleared the first dungeon so many times with the green goblin and can’t make any progress And the other thing is the glitches were the app say something But doesn’t do it For example, it would say armour equipped but you don’t see it being equipped so you have to keep doing it until it finally Registers. And I would like as a bonus is to make unique animations for each of the attacks, that alone will make the combat a lot more fun and engaging plus some cool sound effects too. If you fix all of that then I will give 5 stars immediately

Minor Bug
I’ve had this game for a while and it’s very fun playing the game through the new updates that have been being added, however in the newer updates I haven’t been able to progress in the dungeons. Every time I defeat a level it doesn’t let me unlock the next tier. Besides this minor feature I’m loving everything else though.
Not a workout tracker unless you pay
I was hoping it was like a better version of Fitocracy, but you have to pay to log exercises (except for pushups, sit ups, and squats). Kinda silly. Though you can watch ads to get currency for better gear, so that’s…counter productive.

So I downloaded it when the game first came out. It used to automatically make you play a male but now that they have the female option I tried deleting my old account so I could be a female instead. And the delete account button won’t work when I press it.

Was a 5 star until tracking was built in the app and now my reps don’t even count before that it was the best fitness app

App was good before they added 10000 ads when you switch tabs, didn’t need to re-enter the daily quest tab to check off each task and before they added this janky camera feature that has simply made working out with the app more of a hassle.

Looks Promising
I just downloaded the game today and completed my first quest set. It is motivating and I enjoy the interaction so far, however I am unable to toggle off the sounds in the app as it doesn’t save when I edit it under settings. It can be really distracting to track my progress or do anything in the app as the noise automatically cancels my music in the background. How can I permanently disable noise? Thank you

No options for GF
I love this app and use it for inspiration due to my love for solo leveling. And being focused on getting my health back up I want my girlfriend to be able to participate. Now they did have female workout options for the “Quests” but you have to pay for them. There should be a basic option specifically for females who can’t benefit from the male-set basic workouts and don’t want to focus on cardio, they shouldn’t have to pay to have something specialized for them. Yes they could build custom workouts but why should they HAVE to when generic users like myself can select basic and be good. Would be nice to have a free basic option for females.

I really liked the premise and experience with this app at first but the support has been atrocious. I made two small in game purchases and was never given my items. I was told I would get them in the next update, which also didn’t happen and I’ve been ghosted since.

Guild Options Glitched
Started a guild and clicked on the leader button. This prompted me to promote to leader in which I put “yes”. This turned me into just a member in a 1 man guild. Hitting the member button causes the screen to turn light grey in which I have to close the app. I can’t join another guild and the leave guild button doesn’t work. Everything else in the app works fine.

This app has served as a great fun way to get me back into self improvement. I’ve always liked the idea of being able to make not only working out, but self improvement as a whole fun, and this app serves as a great way to do just that.

Great App! (Add “WHOOP” support)
The App is great. As an athlete, I’ve always wanted an easier way to get myself to do workouts in my off time, not when I just have them with a team. This app gamifies that process, which I love, and you can also choose different difficulty levels based on what youre able to do. I’ve started on the “B” class daily quest, but theres many others that are easier for people getting into taking care of your bodies, and much harder levels. The review is 4 star simply because it only tracks health app right now, which for me only tracks running while my phone’s with me, which I sometimes don’t do since I have a WHOOP (fitness tracker band). Once the dev team can add more tracking for fitness/health trackers like Whoop, the app would be 5 star for me.

When I started before the new update I had fun, but when ur met with a money plan 6 taps in that ruins the experience hope u understand

The app is great. The UI, the quests, I love it. My issue comes from the bundles. I bought the ‘S Rank Bundle’, and even four days later, I haven’t received the keys or the equipment which I paid for. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but you can’t get a refund in app, and I’m not sure if I’ll get what I paid for at all. I even emailed a few days ago, and I’ve still gotten nothing. It’s disappointing to say the least. The app is wonderful, but this has to be fixed ASAP.

It Charged Me Without Confirming!?
I have used this app when it first came out. But stopped using it and came back to help make workouts fun again. I made a new account and went through the different tabs, the quests, guilds, shop, etc. I accidentally clicked a bundle on the shop and normally you’d get a pop up from apple to confirm the payment. But that didn’t happen. Instead I got a pop up in the game, something like, thank you for purchasing. I’m not sure if its a but. But now I pretty much lost $15 which is also another weird thing. I was wondering “why $15? I didn’t see a bundle for that much.” So Im left here $15 down and filled with so many questions. Is there a possible refund or something I can do to sort this out?

The engaging quest system and character progression mechanics made workouts both enjoyable and motivating. However, the recent introduction of paid features has significantly altered the user experience, and not for the better. Concerns: 1. Inaccessibility of Core Features: Several functionalities that were once free now require payment, limiting access for users unwilling or unable to spend extra. This shift undermines the apps original inclusive ethos and may alienate a portion of its user base. 2. Restricted Customization: The freedom to create custom quests, a feature that added a personal touch to the fitness journey, has been curtailed unless behind a paywall. Even if you do pay there’s set quests without the ability to customize. This restriction diminishes the apps appeal and flexibility. Suggestions for Improvement: 1. Reevaluate Monetization Strategy: Consider reinstating essential features to the free version to maintain inclusivity. Monetization could focus on premium content that enhances, rather than restricts, the core experience. 2. Introduce Advanced Gameplay Elements: Incorporating features such as: 2.1 An in-game shop, 2.2 Material drops from specific dungeons to craft higher-quality gear 2.3 And an open market for trading items could enrich the user experience and provide additional avenues for engagement. Self Quest has the potential to revolutionize fitness apps by blending exercise with immersive gameplay. However, the current direction towards monetization at the expense of user accessibility threatens its success. A balanced approach that offers value to both free and paying users could restore the apps standing and ensure its longevity.
Bored
Write a previous review about how I loved the app but that is no longer the case. Day after day my quests don’t reset and I lose levels and stats because of it. I’ve tried resetting the app or changing dates back and forth which has worked occasionally, but I shouldn’t have to and if I’m honest I’m bored of it.
Everything is paid
I love this app and been a supporter, but why is all of the workouts behind a premium, lessen the amount of workouts locked or add a different paid wall for other workouts 😭
Huge update
I’ve been using the app since it’s released and it is really good. Though I have lost motivation and completely forgot and stopped using the app for 3 months. I recently opened it again and was amazed by the new updates. It looked a lot better and many things were improved. I like the fact that the leaderboard finally worked. Overall really good app as it looks great, you can customize and make your own workouts, fight monsters by completing workouts. And also you can customize your character with a variety of items that boost your stats.
I was scammed.
I tried to purchase the bundle E for $1 and it charged me $8.97. I also never got the items. DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS APP 🙏
Good but could improve
The concept is very nice but the side quest is really annoying because they reset before you can finish the workout. It would be better if there were limited amount of side quest a day so its a bit less confusing, but other than that good app.
Rip off
So far this just looks like a huge rip off of an anime called “solo Levelling” in kne kf the images with the red knight that js literally a character from that show and the whole concept of the dungeons dungeon ranks and even the quest board has the exact same layout. A little bit of originality would be appreciated 👍

Lots of potential
Game is a unique idea and has lots of potential but could use some polishing. Right now I’m going through a glitch where if you don’t complete the daily quest in time instead of 1 penalty it’s keeps spamming you with the penalty screen meaning you could lose like 10 levels for no reason
