A cluttered app so full of ads and paywalls that it's useless for learning unless you are willing to pay. Please stop advertising apps like this as "free."
Review
It’s and extremely good app but I think that section 2 is a bit difficult
I need to learn more
Good
Good but to improve
Very good content and grammatical explanations / lessons but a bit heavy: vocab lists to study are too long, same with the verbs. So far in my learning it’s only from Italian to English which does not allow to consolidate and really learn. Some variety in exercises would be nice. Pleasant presentation though.
Great
It’s great, it’s really helping me learn, it took me a while to learn the numbers in Spanish, but with this app it took me like an hour! 😂 But when you run out of hearts, it’s only letting me watch an ad once to get one heart. Or else I have to wait 15 something hours until I get full hearts again.
Text too small
The app is tedious, mostly because I have to strain my eyes to read the text. There is no option for larger text, and it won’t use my accessibility settings. Deleting it again.
The problem is the hearts. PLEASE READ……..!
The reason I downloaded this was because I wanted to learn a new language so I downloaded this app literally just yesterday and really liked it, but it’s not a 5 star. Why not a five star you ask? It would’ve been a five star if you lose all of your 5 hearts, you immediately get them back again. Then that’s a 5 star. I lost my 5 hearts today then a pop up from the game came up. It said pay for unlimited hearts or get plus 1 heart if you watch an ad and I obviously tried to click the ad option but IT WOULDNT LET ME!!!!!!!! I think it’s because they want you to pay💰💰💰 but luckily the hearts reset the next day or else I would’ve deleted this already 😅 but that’s all I have to say this is such a long review but you get the point But it’s still a 4 star unless you fix it up a little, but overall I like it 😁!!!!
Sound failure
The sound is completely flakey and the fault is not related to any advice they give in-app. It drops out after a few lessons, never to return. I have requested help and they have a standard response that they’re “here to help”. The evidence is very much to the contrary. I’ve reported the bug twice and first mail they ignored, second one they send a random, unrelated mail about subscriptions. Make no mistake, this is them, not you or your phone config. If you can’t hear the app, it’s a BUG. As a developer I find this sort of hyperbolae about ‘hey, get in touch, you’re having problems’, tiresome. I’m not having problems, the app is. And £24/month? Seriously? Duolingo is £6. Please be realistic. When it actually has sound, it is a good, well-thought out app, which makes the developer-apathy all the more frustrating. Please don’t ask me to ‘reach out to you’ guys, just fix the bug and send out an update! It’s clearly a prolific issue!
Mediocre
You can learn some Italian But the app is not worth the money they ask for Spelling errors Theoretical parts look like they have been generated by AI Once the app goes to background you lose the scroll position All in all the app needs a lot of work
Italian
This app is very good at teaching the basics so you can move on and learn the whole language! If you aren’t taking a class and still want something to thoroughly teach you how to speak Italian, download this app it is very helpful!
Just started using this app
So far v impressive attention to detail. Hearts run out quickly- quite frustrating perhaps starters should get a a bit more chance to experience the app. There are several mistakes that need correction especially in the time section Unfortunately as i go through the various stages i found many mistakes and faults Most should be easy to rectify.. but you need to go through and find them Eg “passare il tempo con amic”?.. clearly a bot? The absence of grammar or conversation content is a major drawback as are the various errors which require a full review
Good so far
Better then Duolingo
sound issue
just started using app, and already issue as many have described with sound issue, have reset re downloaded and tried on multiple devices and still no fix…. this app looks great but developers need to get onto fixing sound issue, issue is with app, not devices, do not pay for subscription as a fix as this will not fix the issue at all, developers need to get their act together and fix sound issue
Motivation needed
Could do with more inbuilt motivation Rather like being back at school but I’m determined to continue
Learning italian
Good app. grammatically spuer. it will help you gaining knowledge

Beginning Beginner
I can’t really comment at the moment, still at the very first stage. My early impression is that it is an easy to follow guide to learning Italian. I must persist 😀
Sound doesn’t work
This app used to be a great app to help learn Italian. The explanations in the theory are simple but clear and the quizzes were a good way to help memorise words. Unfortunately the sound on the quizzes doesn’t work anymore. As it’s an audio quiz they are now useless. Hopefully the developers can fix this issue in the next update.
Not bad so far
i’ve only had it for a day and i ran out of hearts but it won’t let me get any more for another 10 hours. I also feel that for new learners the lessons should be shorter so there is less information to remember or make it so that there are tricks to remembering. So far not bad but i will see how it is in the next few days/weeks
Learning little by little
I love this app is so funny easy to use and understand grazie mile 😊
Yo
Yo yo yo yo yo
Italian
This app is amazing ! I got it to learn Italian to communicate with extended family and within one day I knew the numbers up to 10 billion !!! I am doing German in school and it took three weeks for me to even understand numbers to ten so this app is amazing!!!
Great Learning Structure but Bugs prevail
The learning structure and content is really great for smart language learning but the sound bugs that stop you from playing the sounds and progressing through the quizzes are such a shame.
Sound doesn’t work
Started off really well and was learning quicker than other popular apps. But then the test required to listen and select, however the sounds was not working adter multiple attempts
Stunning
I can not get it over my mind how easy it is to learn with Learn Italian for Beginners! The app is successfully integrating multiple key concepts in the language easily. It makes me feel so confident in completing the course!
Used to be good
Used to be 100% free now they make you pay for the same stuff
I wish it was freeeer
I wish it was more free
Sound not working on quizzes
It’s a nice app but the soundbon quizzes is not working so even if the app is nice for beginners, is useless if you cannot do the quizzes
Not sure how this is highly rated?
Maybe I am missing something but this app seems very basic. The sound didn’t seem to work for me (maybe an issue with my device) but even without that it seems a very basic approach to learning. It was free so my expectations were low. If I was paying for this I would give it a lower score.
Amazing
I have been looking for an app like this! NO OTHER APP DOES THIS! it goes from basic alphabet teaching then numbers then basic structure of the language. Absolutely amazing!
It’s too easy
Can I make it harder?
Just getting started
Just started learning Italian and so far it’s fun
Cash grab
This app is good, but $8 a week?! It’s not that good! This app costs more than my monthly Netflix bill! $8 a month would be more realistic!
Great app!
This is helping me prep for my B1 Italian test. Nice small content chunks and good quizzes.
Sound failure
I was enjoying this app but after a few lessons the sound stopped working and no matter what I do it cannot be restored. Customer support will o let send out a pre written email that does not help with the sound issue.
Great so far!
It’s definitely a challenge at first, memorizing numbers up to billions but if you speak Spanish it’s almost the same! I honestly like it so far!
Charles
Engaging and really fun to learn <3
Totally useless because sound stops working
Downloaded the app which worked initially and then suddenly the sound completely stopped working. Tried everything to fix the issue my end but no luck as there is a bug in the app. Contacted the developer twice to report this but have heard nothing back. Don’t bother with this app as it’s completely useless without the sound working!
Free isn’t $19.00
Disappointed about the app was advertised as free and it’s not!!
Very helpful
They order these lessons in a straightforward and easily understandable way. It goes at your own pace and explains everything more thoroughly than I recall school did when teaching languages.
Number counter does not work
There is a section where you read from zero to 20. The only vocal accompaniment is zero. The numbers after do not work.
It’s nice
It a good game but I honestly would like “game modes”to it like chat to ai in Italian or something like that
