What people like
- Makes sharing items feel safe and easy.
- Great for connecting with neighbors.
- Developer listens to user feedback.
What they complain about
- People sometimes ignore your messages.
- Admins can block you unfairly.
- Not as easy to use as other apps.
So much better than the alternatives on line
User friendly and the actual developer (a human) asks for comments on how to make it easier. It brings our neighborhood together in a new way. It is so satisfying to give an item to someone who wants it.
So much potential
For a couple of reasons this app is not intuitive to use after I’m used to Buy Nothing. And maybe it’s because people don’t check here as often as they look at Facebook but two people ghosted me after expressing interest in my gift.
Disappointed
So my name is Dezire’ my screen name is Dizzydezzy and I use my screen name a lot without problems. But this app has given me nothing but problems and I havnt done anything wrong. The fact that I live in Redmond and drive to bend to get freebies was a problem and my screen name was a problem so I made a new account with my name and last name I also added a photo of myself and I got blocked again I have toddlers and a 10 year old daughter so this app was super helpful especially when my sister n law introduced it to me. Ofc it’s only in bend right now and I hope it thrives so much that we are able to have it here in Redmond as well I didn’t see a problem and the fact I got blocked on both accounts is absolutely ridiculous. Please take the time to read and consider me back on the app I was not doing any harm I was also going to post some freebies for others to enjoy. Just super disappointed people were great and nice except for that one admin lady that seems to have a problems there were no problems 😓
Thank you for creating this opportunity!
A friend in Bend, OR had suggested this app and how we have been able to give opportunities for things we want to part ways with is incredible! There is so much gratitude and reciprocation on this portal
Really useful app!
Such a useful app! I find this app to be incredible for finding incoming and outgoing household items in the community. The fact that everything is free and moves quickly is the best part - they have helpful parameters/guidelines to make it *simple* and thus actually super useful. Not to mention it is locally made - bravo!
Great plus request
Love the app. Would love if we could swipe to clear off items we know we won’t use so we don’t have to scroll through them repeatedly. Sort of like a dating app vibe.
Best Buy-Nothing App!
This has been the best buy nothing group I’ve ever been a part of. The app is smooth and makes pickups feel safe and easy. Plus it’s a great way to connect with the community.
