Porch Swing

Description

Everything on Porch Swing is free. Just neighbors giving away things they no longer need.

Need a stroller before the baby comes? A desk for the spare room? A jacket your

kid will outgrow in a year? Someone nearby already has one sitting in a closet,

and they would rather it went to you than to a landfill.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Join your neighborhood group.

2. Browse free gifts nearby, or post something you're done with.

3. Comment on anything you'd like.

4. The giver picks a recipient and you arrange pickup in chat.

5. One more usable thing stays out of the landfill.

WHY NEIGHBORS USE IT

Reusing what's already on your street saves money, keeps good things out of the

waste stream, and introduces you to the people who live around you.
