Deceptive!
Beware of difficulty cancelling trial subscription. I activated the trial but there’s no history of this app in my purchases or subscription history so I assumed I was not enrolled When the first month bill notifications arrived I attempted to get a refund within minutes but they refused. Scam!!

I love the idea of this, but I wish I could edit the tasks. I don’t want to do the ones that are automatically on there. I’ve searched the app for a way to but I can’t seem to find it.

Don’t look for your money back on their guarantee
Thought I’d try it and found out it is as piddly, pokey and screen time intensive as other ones. I thought this one may be more streamlined, wrong. I figured it out in less than 24 hrs that I wasn’t interested not was I going to ‘do’ their program so I requested refund with explanation and was denied. Quick response time to my requests but their responses were all ‘copy-paste’ of same thing they said in prior email. Apparently for the 30 day guarantee … you have to request refund before 30 days is up AND yet complete journal plus do the other 20 things everyday for the full 30 days … then maybe they will REVIEW your request to get money back. I told them to keep it. Not impressed.

I'm surprised by how often I return to this app. I love it! I'm not a gal who likes barbies or dress up, or really anything girly - but I have come to look forward to dressing my avatar to match my mood. I'm a Chonky Chick though and really had to overcome my negative feelings every time I had to look at that tall, skinny avatar... Can we please have more body options for the avatars? Thanks

I have been using it for three months. I was depressed to the point of barely getting out of bed, with children, home stuff, husband, and work on the line… yet, little by little the prompts helped me find a north again. I’m a work in progress but i take my meds, breathe, do my affirmations and mind my appearance a lot more often. Also, their customer service is really helpful and responsive if you ever need them. Thrilled with this app. Has made a real difference. **Do not confuse it with Fabulous (another “getting things done” type of App for neurodivergent people, which is hard to navigate, cluttered, and complicated) - I used it for about a month and went back to Fabu. Don’t hesitate to try Fabu. It’s worth it. It’s easy, and it works!
Charges you even though you cancelled the subscription MONTHS AGO!!
I don’t even use this service and they charge me $29 a month despite canceling in March. Don’t get hooked!!
Doesn’t Match Ads
All the ads I’ve seen show tests to find your archetype/element/etc. I have not found one of these activities in the app even after purchasing an annual membership. I have not experienced an AI generated content or recommendations to date either.

Billing Errors, App Glitches, and No Customer Service
I cannot recommend this app. UPDATE. Per Fabu’s response to this review, I emailed them on 6/3, followed up on 6/5, and again on 6/9. STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THE DEVELOPER’S SUPPORT. I used the email they provided which is the same one on the app. My experience started with billing issues and was made worse by a complete lack of customer support. When I signed up, I was charged $9.99 for a one-week trial. While completing my profile, I was prompted to purchase a yearly membership for $79.99. I agreed because the app states that users can receive a full refund after a 30-day trial period if they actively use the app daily, including journaling. I contacted support via the app to the email that the developer constantly refers bad reviews to, to clarify whether my membership term would include the week I had already paid for, but I never received a response. Then, after only one week, I was charged an additional $39.99 for a monthly membership while also having an active annual membership. I immediately contacted support again and received no response. Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. I reported multiple technical issues through the app, including: * Repetitive affirmations and activities being shown repeatedly * Quizzes repeating instead of advancing to new content * Quizzes failing to load and prompting me to retake assessments that produced the same results * Recommendations appearing in a language I don’t speak or understand * A glitch that erased my streak count Not a single support request has been answered. Even if the technical and billing issues didn’t exist, I would still find the app disappointing. The content is extremely repetitive and lacks depth. Many of the educational sections are so basic that I was able to answer the quiz questions correctly without reading the material. I don’t need an app reminding me every day to press my palms together, stretch my fingers, turn my head with intention, or read nearly identical affirmations over and over again. Between the duplicate charges, unresolved technical issues, and complete absence of customer support, this has been the most frustrating and overpriced app experience I’ve ever had.
Good but limited
I like the app overall, it gives a nice little dopamine boost, and I enjoy the dress up challenges, though scrolling through some of the categories gets tedious. I do wish there was an option to add more customizable tasks. I use this primarily for staying on track with self-care and boring household tasks. However, there’s no option to add something like ‘take medication’ (or at least, I can’t find it) or ‘pet care’. I also wish there were a few more options for mood tracking, there are plenty of days that I’m not fine, but I’m not sad/angry/happy. It really needs a neutral mood.
Okay but needs improvement.
There are so many apps like this out there. Part of me likes the simplicity, but there’s not a whole lot you can do without spending money even after you have paid for premium. Also, not sure if this app is supposed to have sound, but I can’t get it to work on the iPhone no matter what I try.

I’m enjoying FABU and have recommended it to several people who are struggling the same way as I am! “Tasks” are broken down into very simple acts which gives one a sense of accomplishment. Activities are as simple as “take three deep breaths” and “look in the mirror and say ‘I am enough’”. One can also add activities to the list.
Fraud- Awful Customer Care
I never signed up for this app. I was supposed to have a seven day free trial and they kept charging me despite numerous emails to their customer service, which is the only way to contact them to get them to stop to no avail. If this was a reputable business, they would not make it so difficult for people to contact them and they wouldn’t be fraudulently charging. Accounts they’re not authorized to.
Lots of grammar errors
This is also another generic self help app where you take care of your tomagatchi esque pet and in turn it takes care of you in the form of Q&A’s, tips, etc.
Somewhat better but still a little unfair
I Redownloaded this app after hearing about this update and im surprised that they did a lot better! I love how cute the little pet is! And the journaling is amazing! BUT there are some things that still aren’t quite fair when you go to do challenges theres only one out of multiple challenges that you can do. And it’s because of the requirements!! I thought the reason why we we dressing up the character in the first place was to help us see our mood through fashion! Dont get me wrong the themes are nice but we should have the ability to have our own interpretation of that theme as well maybe expand the non premium clothing just a little bit more? Because there are some people who just don’t have the money I understand that you need the money but maybe you should consider what should and shouldn’t cost. Another thing is that it doesn’t have that much diversity yes you did make a vitiligo skin type but what about body types? Or prosthetic limbs? Or even diverse facial features like having two different colored eyes? I am definitely going to keep this app but please do just a little bit more to help your consumers out
Literally just downloaded and opened
I just got the app and was just going to start it like fill out my info but now I’m already going on almost 2 hours into the app I even had a movie going and I have not even looked up at the tv so I’m so far very amazed and super happy bc something keeps my attention.this long especially anytime not on the phone definitely much less an app so I’m very excited to start this daily!!!! I so far very highly recommend this app to any and every dry body!!!!!!!!!! So very glad this popped up on my Facebook feed!!!!!!!!!!!
Scam
Trying to cancel for two months. Wanted me to pay for a letter to cancel. Very basic app with exercises designed for ultimate beginners. Very unhappy.
Issue with access has been resolved
UPDATE Cheryl on the customer support team was really helpful in helping to sort out the issue. Will update the review after using the app. Payment was made via an advert in a game for a month’s access. Once in the app, it asks for payment via a weekly subscription. Have made contact twice and no response. Be wary of this app.

$80 for 12 weeks? I can’t review the app as I never really used it, but the subscription fee is crazy and you don’t get any reminders about it coming up till they’ve already taken the money. READ THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS especially about refunds. Essentially this seems like a scam as they only take money and are nearly impossible to deal with. The $80 might not seem like a lot to some people, but it was a shock to me and I was not prepared to suddenly pay that kind of cost for an app that I never even used

You lost me at 10$ a week. Simply put, this is gouging and for the sake of someone’s mental health there should be a little compassion in the price.

App Issues Rampant
I chose this app because the character is a reward system, which works well for me in another app so I thought this one would be similar. But I can’t access the character and multiple messages to technical support have not produced any assistance. Also a couple of days ago there was an upgrade to the app and since that time I can no longer collect the points because the screen freezes, and I have to close the app and open it again to go onto the next task. Technical support message on that issue has also gone unanswered. Because of this, I have canceled my subscription.
