I have been working with this app for a long time but this app is ridiculous they will not keep u in priority when you take a ride to airport like uber does and they give less money to drivers which results in drivers using this app less then others but i don’t think they can ever understand that you have users but not enough drivers you need to work on that but nowadays you are paying very less to drivers which results drivers using uber and lyft

⭐⭐☆☆☆ I avoid using this platform because I don’t feel confident that it keeps drivers safe from potential issues with law enforcement. There are also several usability problems that make driving more difficult: * It relies on a third-party navigation app, which drains more phone battery. * Every trip requires switching to the maps app and waiting for the destination to transfer, which is inconvenient. * Customer support is very slow to respond, even in urgent situations. * Drivers have no control over notification sounds while driving. New ride request alerts can be loud and disruptive, especially when passengers are trying to rest or nap. I hope these issues are addressed in future updates because the platform has potential.

Scam in Canada
This app is a waste of time and money if you’re driving in Ontario Canada. They pay less than minimum wage for trips that you have to drive very long to pick up passengers for peanuts. Customer service does not exist and nothing but AI. What a horrible way to start a business here!

Hopp sucking the blood of drivers who serving sincerely by giving very very low prices even less than 30 cents per km while gas is 1.81/km it must need to pay fair prices at least $1/km
Notifications require critical work
I’d like to share some detailed feedback regarding the notification system in the Hopp driver app, based on real-world usage while driving. Right now, notifications for new ride requests are very easy to miss when the app is not in the foreground. If I’m using another app such as music, navigation, or anything else, the incoming ride alert does not consistently appear as a prominent on-screen notification. More importantly, it does not interrupt or lower the volume of currently playing audio, which makes it very difficult to notice in time. In contrast, other driver apps such as Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, and SkipTheDishes handle this much more effectively. They trigger a high-priority notification that: - Visibly pops up over other apps - Plays a distinct and loud alert sound - Temporarily lowers or interrupts music/audio playback - Grabs immediate attention so the driver can respond quickly With the current behavior in the Hopp app, I’ve already missed multiple ride opportunities simply because I wasn’t actively looking at the screen at that exact moment. As a driver, this directly impacts earnings and overall experience on the platform. I understand that Apple CarPlay integration may not yet be available, which is completely reasonable for a newer app. However, even without CarPlay, the iPhone itself should be able to deliver strong, high-priority notifications. At a minimum, the app should: - Use critical or time-sensitive notifications (where permitted) - Trigger an audible alert that overrides or ducks background audio - Display a full-screen or banner-style alert immediately - Ensure reliability when running in the background This is not just a convenience feature — it’s essential for driver usability and safety. Drivers should not have to constantly stare at their phones to avoid missing work. The app should actively and clearly notify them. Improving this one area would significantly enhance the driver experience and make the platform much more competitive with established apps. I hope this feedback helps, and I look forward to future updates that address this.

The driving view in the app doesn’t show enough of the road ahead, there’s no way to filter out toll roads, driver pay is even lower than Uber (the driver faces the most risk!), the app displays no notification when there’s a trip and then blasts another notification seconds later with the default and loud Bells, it requires tracking your location ALL THE TIME (and not just while app is in use), reviewing your earnings and hours should NOT be this hard, and pickups are far away (i should be compensated for this).

Customer support have no knowledge and only give copy paste answers without understanding the problem and low pay rides for drivers and alot of app problems including bonus offer bar never updated for me

You have bought these fake star rating. Whatever you have you charge from Customer you take so much from the amount and give us pennies. We are the ones who work burn gas put mileage on car gets depreciation will leave on our car and you literally give nothing whosoever is opting switch to this Hopp. It’s not worth at all even other apps I seem they’re just greedy companies.
