Brilliant app for development and fun but I can’t get off my custom room cause I def my first solve and no one else was in my server and I then disconnected cause my phone ran out of charge I love gan!!!!!!!
Needs fixing
I don’t have issues connecting my cube or logging in. What is an issue is the app not recognizing middle slice moves and also not changing the algorithm diagrams to match how I set up the cube. It asks if you want yellow or white on top and your preference for face, but then the algorithm diagrams needed to find which situation matches yours are stuck on yellow on top and green face. What this means is you can’t use the app to track your cube because the diagrams don’t match your cube. What’s the point of choosing how you want your cube oriented if the algorithm diagrams force you to have yellow on top, green face, orange right? There are also missing algorithms. The app needs to be tested by people who are not speed cubers or the developers in the office. Despite these problems the app can be useful.

Tiny buttons
Why are the scramble and solve buttons so tiny on an iPhone? Make them huge! It’s the main feature.
Good app, but
It is extremely bugged when it comes to signing into your account and getting the email verifycation code, entering in password, etc. Other than that, the app is amazing. Very fun to practice and learn algorithms. I reccomend it.
What is wrong with my network😭?
I want to do a Rubik’s cube match, but the app didn’t allow me because it thought my network was low. I checked my network and it was high. I had to restart the app just to solve a Rubik’s cube on the app.
Glitched
The app says updating but then stops on a random percentage, it was working fine before but it is still good.

Despite what most of all of the comments say it is a great app I am just learning how to solve a cube and it is really helping me
Terrible app
They require an email “when I only used my Apple ID” to login and so I can’t login. I can’t even create a new account because they don’t send a verification email to the email I am trying to link. Ps try to find your cubes Bluetooth id and use an app like cubeast, or literally anything else. This app has been terrible for years and it WILL not get better.
Great app but can’t login
I love the app and I honestly don’t know why it is rated so low. However, for several months I haven’t been able to login to the app. Whoever I try, It tells me that I am disconnected and I do t know how to fix it. I have tried restarting my iPad, and reinstalling the app, but nothing seems to work.

Bad tracking on cube
So recently i bought the GAN I4. i saw the solve button, so i pressed it and tried solving it for the ai, right? IT SAYS ITS SOLVED BUT MY CUBE I HAVE ISNT SOLVED. WHAT IS THIS TRACKING?!?

Terrible
I don’t even know if the app itself is good, because the piece of garbage wouldn’t even start. I did about 5 3x3 solves to entertain myself while I waited, and a megaminx, which I’m a beginner at the average about four minutes. Thing is stuck in loading after signin.

The cube is good

Half baked
Skillstar training does not allow you to go past any training even if you complete the task in under the time required. Just shows that it was never completed. Other features seem to work.
Bots are not adaptive
The competition algorithm is very frustrating because the bots are much faster than your averagemaking them virtually impossible to beat unless you are pr ing every solve.

These people their time like I was going against one and then their time was one minute and two seconds and it all it went down to all the way 48 seconds fix your game bro and then like I lost so many times like bro I don’t know if I’m going against spots, but I’m playing ranked Arena bro
Good App, but…
The app is what it needs to be it helped me learn new algorithms, improve my times, and track everything better. But the buying items system is kinda weird and unethical and competition games take a lot of time to find people, they should make bots that match ur average so u can go against someone quicker.
Not understanding
I solve the green side first. It gives me no cfop data. Even when I change it the blue side up in the settings. Using the robot. You can auto scramble to the set up.
Regular updates welcome
I have a GAN356i play 2020. Recent update added support for legacy cubes which shows dedication to support customers. Thank you. The app does require an internet connection to use. Would be great to see an offline mode for when travelling. While there are still some bugs, it is good to see regular updates and continual improvements from GAN.
Frustrating at First but ..
.. got it to work at the end. I got the GAN Robot v.2 (Arthur) and the GAN 12ui MagLev smart cube and they work great together. The app would not recognize any of the solved algos until i set it to Yellow Top / Green Front. Then the timer worked (and only works on that setting). That was a major frustration, contacted support, no answer yet, figured it out by accident, now it works. Then my timers were working fine but suddenly stopped recording times on my iPad (on my iPhone still works fine). Overall the app has some bugs but the fact that the robot can give you a scramble (and the same exact one to a friend) is great. Also the Phase Training is extremely helpful and it works (but only in the orientation mentioned before or the timer won’t stop). I hope they fix these bugs because the robot is cool and the 12ui MagLev cube almost as good as the 16max MagLev.
Fix the app
It’s a decent app when it works. You’re selling tons of cubes both Bluetooth and not. Put some money towards the darn app! You have smart people. Make it work already
Better but…
Please read all the way through.This would be five stars if I could add friends. There is a friends list but I can’t add friends to it. If I could add friends in a match and outside using search this would be five stars way better than before though. Also there is no way to chat with anybody in match or friends. Please fix this,please respond.

Awesome app but...
Best app for cubing online and tracking what your fastest at slowest at and all in between but when ever I start a ranked match it will 99% of the time kick me out of the app and I’ll then lose a star (that’s the ranking system)I don’t now if this the app or my iPad but I would like if somebody could explain
App is so poor I returned my cube
Tiny screens, difficult to read, miss-aligned, slow to respond. Phone is 12 Max Pro. Unforgivably poor effort in for an app in 2025. Returned the Carry2 Smart Cube. Shame as I love my standard Gan cubes.
Can’t sign in
I cannot sign in, but am suddenly asked to log in. Can't log in. No other help or support, just trouble, which seemed very Chinese. サインインすることはできないが、いきなりログインをするように要求される。ログインできない。その他ヘルプやサポートはなく困るだけ非常に中国らしいと思えた

So it is ok I can’t actually test it because I don’t have a smart cube I just want them to add cfop zz roux guides to the app so I can learn
App is very hard to use
The settings for your profile and devices don’t work, I can’t read that much Chinese so things don’t work.
Stop it from lagging
I accidentally deleted the app and started all over again but now I can’t login my email and password.i tried a new password but it kept says ' incorrect password'.
