The best
Best collecting app out there
Price
All price for vintage are useless and can’t be used
I love shiny for tracking my collection!
I love to use shiny for tracking my pokemon collection! I do find that sometime the values reported can be way off end up having resort to other apps to get accurate comps. I love the interface and using shiny to track my overall collection.
Old update
I like the old screen layout, now it’s in a grind and line view, also it’s separated
Poor on Dragonball and OP
Slow to update great pulls on new Dragonball and OP cards. Scanner misreads quite a lot. No way to change holo vs reverse holo or if other card stuff like a Jolly like u can do on Rare Candy
Amazing
Super quality app!
Prices aren’t always accurate
Prices aren’t always accurate
(Update) Needs Set Trackers
I previously left a review questioning the accuracy of graded card estimates but haven’t had that problem since. I raised my rating from 3 stars to 4 stars but cannot leave 5 stars just yet due to a lack of set trackers. If you are someone who likes to track master set progress via app, this isn’t for you in its current state.

Shiny
Honestly the best collector app I’ve found so far the subscription isn’t that pricey the scanning is fast and accurate, and the pricing is pretty close. If not exactly on market, the best thing about it is unlike TCG or other competing apps, it does not grab alternate languages to comp your card. It grabs the exact language of the card has awesome ways to organize your collection unlike other apps. Altogether my favorite app to put my collection on

Great price listings
Overall a great collection tracking app and good updated price listing especially bc most of the big apps won’t give you a general idea on graded pricing. My only issue I’ve noticed are some of the more unique card from yugioh are harder to get more accurate listings on. But overall amazing
nice
great
Great app
Simple and easy to navigate. Prices are accurate. 10/10
Wildly inaccurate prices
I spent a bunch of time moving my collection over to this app only to realize the prices are wildly inaccurate for lower volume cards. Then on top of that, they try to charge you a subscription for it and add in micro transactions… I would be fine paying if it at least worked. Don’t waste your time with this Collectr temu knockoff.
Very smooth experience
Snappy and easy-to-use, with a pleasing interface. I’ve been enjoying how easy it is to log my collection as well as scanning cards for quick research.
Overall app design fantastic, but…
Design is clean and easy to use, but after awhile of searching caused phone to heat up. Quite a few of promo cards, alternate arts card are not in the apps. Need faster update on latest card list.
Review
Very convenient
Shiny is alright
Shiny is alright but doesn’t give u free scans and u have to get premium just to enjoy it there are much better options that u can try with unlimited scans and no fee
It could be better
You have to pay for unlimited scans & tools
Discreto
In alcuni casi le valutazioni sono molto lontane dal vero e alcuni prodotti non si riescono a trovare
Shiny TCG Review
Amazing app to use and keep track of your TCG collection! Clean interface and easy to use!
Not worth it
Very basic nothing unique don’t bother spending $3.99 a month
Better regional pricing please
Love the app but the pricing seems way off on the UK
Good but only US
The app seems great so far and is easy to use. My one problem is that it only compares prices from the US, it does show different currencies but still only views the US market. I live in Europe and i compare prices with sites like cardmarket or ebay mostly and there are a lot of variations in value from here to the us.
Tracks Graded Cards
I mainly collect Riftbound, OP, and vintage Pokémon and really enjoy how this app can track my raw and slab collection prices.
Buggy
Feature issues. App crashes. Prefer Collectr or pricecharting
Very good, but bad for promos
It’s harder to search ur promo cards and it’s missing pikachu at the museum and it doesn’t give u the option to select sealed promos but otherwise rlly good
Great
Pretty dam good if u ask me
So slow
The app is so slow. It doesn’t organize my cards that well.
Great but could use more features
Great app. The ability to purchase lifetime membership puts it ahead of all other alternatives. It still needs a few features to be 5 stars though. 1. It would be nice if there were filters AS WELL AS sort options, I.e minimum price of £5 and then sort by price decline by percent. As it is now, the price decline by percent sort option only shows modern commons and uncommons as fluctuations in pennies occupy the larger percentage of their total value. Obviously maximum price should be a filter as well. 2. Filters by card type, EX, Lvl.X, Trainer, Fusion, Synchro, Spell etc. just searching the keyword, I.e “ex” will give you excadrill or exeggutor. I realise this would take longer to implement. Should also be able to filter rarities as well. 3. A sort option by release date would be nice. While in a roundabout way you can tell by the set, it would be nice to view it this way. 4. Card variations tab, by that I mean when you tap on a card it would be nice if there was a tab that showed you the link to the other variations of the same card (I.e Japanese, Reverse Holo etc.) Bonus. This one is a stretch and I wouldn’t expect it, but it would be nice if they added filters to include some informal filters to help group certain kinds of cards that aren’t as easy to search with keywords, e.g Team Plasma cards, Trainer Pokemon (gen 4 ones don’t have names on them), stamped cards, 1st edition, unique holographics.
Got this app to track One piece collection
I like the UI and the search features that make it easy to find cards in one piece.
Update made app worse
Was loving the app but they removed the overall percentage gains from the Home Screen. Now I can’t find where to find this anywhere. No idea why they would remove this. Now would have to look through percentage gains for each individual item. Hoping they change it back…
Best App for Tracking TCG!
I’ve had both collectr and shiny and I prefer shiny by a lot. I like the customizable interface, as it has many different possibilities.
Great app but needs Chinese cards
Prefer it to Collectr, but they currently do not support Chinese Pokémon cards (which have unique cards) which I hope will be added in the near future
