Outside the annoying ad that pops up in the beginning (makes you have to close the app and reopen it) the app is straightforward and easy to read.
Issues
I’m not sure if it’s the app or my scale or if it’s supposed to be that way, but in the history tab it only shows 5 metrics which I feel like it’s supposed to show more. Other than that everything works great.
Easy
Good if you just want to follow your tracking with the scale. The food scanner and imputed meals need to be able to be deleted or edited. So the user can edit for example what type of yogurt was ate not just a generic number for calories.
GREAT
Love how seamless setting up my Smart scale was. Additionally, having an AI coach that has all of my biometrics available is game changing
Poorly done
The scale I purchased worked pretty good, the problem is this app. There are a handful of issues but I will concentrate in the biggest for me. When I step the scale, all the measurements are taken and sent to the app. It shows me my BMI, Muscle Mass, Muscle Mass, Fat Weight, and so on—16 different measurements. Nice! But here is where my major problem begins. Once I take a new measurement, the previous measurement is deleted, gone. If I click on the clock icon at the bottom, it shows me a chart, for the past 7 days, 30 days, and 90 days. First, 90 days is not ling enough. The app I used for my last scale let me go back years. But my biggest beef with this app is that the scale is pretty basic and not all the measurements are there. There is only charts for 5 measurements. That is it! Like I said before, there is no way of clicking on a date (it shows you a list of dates at the bottom) and looking at all the measurements for that reading. Lousy, just lousy! 11 out of the 16 measurements are gone for good. So if I want to see what my subcutaneous fat was 3 o 5 months ago, or even last week or any other time except for the last measurement, there is no way of doing that. In essence, this app is pretty useless. If you want to save all the measurements, take a screen shot and save it in your phones Gallery app. I think that I will give my scale away or throw it sway and buy me one that doesn’t use this app. This app lacks so many features that it makes the developers look lazy and uncaring. Either that or they don’t put much effort, lack creativity, or just the app is juts a sales pitch printed on the scale’s box to get your attention at the store.
Frustrating
It can be difficult to use and the ad that pops up wanting me to buy a subscription sometimes won’t go away and I have to delete the app and reinstall it. Sometimes that doesn’t work. It’s very frustrating. I tried the subscription once and it is not anything I need.
Not great for multiple users
It works well except you can only have one phone connected at a time, so my other family members have to reconnect every time the use the scale. And it won’t let you leave a review without making a stupid nickname.

Recent update ruined the app
Newest version keeps asking for password/face id every time you open the app, it erased the previous data. Also, who needs an AI subscription for your scale? The previous version was way better.
New Update Removed Info/Best Parts
The new update isn’t great, it removed information and data. Now I haven’t lost a pound according to it. It also says I’m “normal” weight when I’m not. Missing info. It needed updates but this wasn’t what was needed. Looking at alternative app that I haven’t used in 6 years, still has my data, has proper graphs for weight. Totally disappointed. This is a major failure.
Metrics
This scale before update showed all metrics over time fat subq, muscle, etc. now it only show 5 metrics. I liked how it use to show all metrics from when I started journey

Only have because of scale
App made me jump through hoops convinced I wanted to have a subscription even if I could cancel anytime. After restarting my phone I was able to bypass but still ********** companies forcing subscriptions
Export not possible
No way to export the data. Very annoying. Have to manually copy into excel to properly analyze results.
“Update” removed “Unassigned Weights”
I was happy with the app. Then an update occurred and the ability to assign an Unassigned Weight was removed. I used the app regularly to track my weight loss. I am the only one in family who has the app on my phone but my son and grandkids use the scale periodically for weight only. I made profiles for them and the app tracked them. Couple of times a week, their weight would be recorded but app didn’t know which profile to assign weight to so weight and date were listed as “Unassigned Data”. This unassigned weight would be tracked on my weight loss record which wasn’t good because it would show my 160 lb progress then their 105 lb record. I could tap the unassigned weight to select it then tap “Assign” dropdown next to the weight and select the appropriate user profile. The app would then remove the weight from my history, assign it to the correct profile and my weight loss progress would be displayed properly. I complained to their online tech support about this because the feature was removed sometime during one of their last updates. Their reply was “the SKU WIFI_SCALE does not show any reference to an Unassigned Data section. Based on the documentation available, I can’t confirm a way to restore that feature“. So at least I can manually remove the unassigned weight. Tech support is friendly, knowledgeable and prompt though.

The ‘x’ to close the advertisement to sign up for the $30/mo service does not work, preventing all access to the app functions. Trash.
Inconsistent Data/Performance
I like having access to a lot of data about my health and purchased this scale 18 or so months ago. The scale has trouble staying synced with the Bluetooth, and requires frequent unpairing and re-pairing. It frequently assigns the weights for my spouse to my profile even though we differ in weight by over 50 lbs. My data shows up with different values in many of the fields on an iPhone vs an Android. For example, I can weigh in the morning and the weight (when it syncs) will show a fat % of 23% in the app on the phone and 21% in the app on the Android. The main weight field tells me my weight is “normal” but the small data box at the bottom of the dashboard says “underweight.” The newest update made it so the app requires a passcode or Face ID to unlock. What a pain. Overall, I rated it three stars; if I were a teacher, I’d give it a solid C.

Pretty Terrible
Yes, it syncs to my phone and Apple health just fine. The main problem is the UI, it’s clunky and doesn’t allow access to any historical data besides weight. Not only that, but when the app updated, it refreshed my user content, which means it completely reset my data … so any pounds lost disappeared, and there’s no way to access or put in a historical marker. At least the new Home Screen doesn’t look as bad as the old one, but that’s really not saying much.

The app worked fine but every time I exit it it tells me to log in why do I have to log in every time so confused

I’ve been using the iHome smart scale for a while now and I’m honestly impressed. It works flawlessly the data is very accurate and consistent. It gives me visibility into everything: muscle mass, body fat percentage, hydration levels, and more. Thanks to this scale, I’ve been able to track my fitness progress much more effectively and even improve my water intake. It’s simple to use, syncs perfectly with the app, and provides a clear overview of my health stats. Overall, it’s a fantastic product with great cost-benefit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay on top of their health in a smart, affordable way!
Can’t create an account
I can’t even get into the app, past the sign in page, because I have to create an account but it doesn’t give that option. I did the text size trick and still nothing. Please fix so I can use my scale and app, then I will change my rating but it probably won’t since this is a known issue

This app cannot be used because you can’t create an account therefore cannot login without an account! All the features of the WiFi scale are absolutely USELESS because you Must use their mobile app to set up everything! MUST USE MONILE APP TO USE WIFI SCALE ….No way to create an account through app or online=No way to login to Mobile app without setting up account=without ability to login into app or use it the “Smart WiFi Scale” is ABSOLUTELY USELESS. No valid email or contact info for customer support and if you submit a request for help they send an email saying you need to contact another company but the email they provide does not exist! What a joke and waste of money!
